Happy St. Patrick's Day and welcome to the Impact Wrestling on AXS TV report.
The episode opened with a graphic dedicated to the memory of Scott Hall.
This week's episode is again from Lousiville, Kentucky with Tom Hanifan and Matt Rehwoldt on the call.
We open with a look at everything that has led up to tonight's episode.
The Motor City Machine Guns vs. Bullet Club's Jay White and Chris Bey.
This would be the Machine Guns' first time teaming since December 2020.
Alex Shelley and Jay White battled back and forth early with chops. Sabin tagged in and they double dropkicked White in the head, sending him retreating to the floor. Bey tagged in and faced off with Sabin. Sabin took him to the mat and controlled him with a side headlock. Bey battled his way up but was shoulderblocked down. Sabin went for it again but Bey dropkicked him, snapping Sabin to the mat.
Shelley tagged in, allowing the MCMG to double-team Bey with a series of maneuevers and kicks. Shelley drilled White off the apron. Shelley worked over Bey's arm. Sabin joins in and snaps the arm. The Machine Guns continue to control Bey, drilling him with stereo kicks to the head for a two count. White tried to get involved but both members of Bulelt Club were tied up into submissions. Shelley hit a baseball sliding kick to the outside on White. Sabin went for the same but was drilled by Bey. Bey went to the outside but Shelley wiped him out. Sabin nailed a tope to the outside on the Club members.
The Guns continue to work over Bey and knocked White back to the floor. They set uo Bey for a Doomsday Dropkick but White crotched Sabin on the top rope. Bey drilled Shelley and nailed a tope con hilo over the top to the outside on Sabin. Back in the ring, White beat down Shelley, nailing a series of suplexes.
Bullet Club tagged in and out, working over Shelley in their corner. Sabin tried to interceded but the referee admonished him, allowing Bullet Club to work over Shelley. Bey missed a double stomp and was drilled into the buckles. Sabin made the hot tag and cleaned house, backdropping White and nailing Bey in mid-air with a dropkick as Bey came flying off the top rope. White was tied to the tree of woe. Bey tried to get involved but was double-teamed and hit with a belly to belly suplex into the corner on White. The Guns nailed a big hesitation dropkick on White, followed by a tornado spike DDT on White for a two count.
White caught Sabin with a snap suplex into the buckles. Bey nailed a leaping strike in the corner, then rebounded with a dive to the floor on Shelley. Bey nailed a flying bodypress off the top and grabbed Sabin for an F5 into a neckbreaker for a two count. Shelley returned and he and Sabin began whipping out Dragon Screw Legwhips.
The Guns nailed Skull and Bones on Bey and covered him for a three count with White just barely failing to break up the pinfall.

White argued and screamed at the referee.
After a commercial break, they showed replays of some of the big moves.
Rhino vs. Steve Maclin
Anthony Carelli, aka the former Santino Marella, joined Matt and Tom on commentary.
They went right at it, slugging it out. Rhino got the advantage but was sent hard into the corner. Maclin gained control and rained down with a series of rights before choking him against the ropes. Maclin continues to work over Rhino and scored a two count after a DDT. He cinched in a rear chinlock. Rhino fought his way to his feet and drilled Maclin with several punches but was kicked off when he charged in the corner.
Maclin executed a flying headbutt but Rhino rolled out of the way. Rhino psyched himself up and drilled Maclin with a big short arm clothesline. Fans chanted for a gore but Maclin surprised Rhino with a belly to back suplex for a two count. Maclin attempted to suplex Rhino but it was blocked. Maclin attempted again but this time, it was countered and reversed. Maclin nailed a leaping knee and speared Rhino, scoring the pinfall. Live by the gore, die by the gore.

Backstage, The IInspiration tried to butter but up Kaleb with A K. They told him they forgive him for trying to help them but failed and that he'll "get it right next time."
Backstage, Heath Miller approached Rhino. He said they've been trying to do things apart but they need to get back together as a unit. They made a pact to become the Tag Team Champions and need to do things together again. Rhino said he's right and they need to fulfill their promise to each other and the fans. They will win the Tag Team Championshships.
Brian Myers was back doing his alternative commentary.
Larry D vs. Bhupinder Gujjar
They locked up and battled back and forth. Gujjar used a low dropkick to take him down, then nailed a slingshot into an elbow. Raj Singh came down to the ring, trying to cheer Gujjar on. That distracted him, allowing Larry to blast him from behind. He nailed a back elbow for a two count, then cinched in a side chinlock. He nailed a series of crossfaces and a kick to the mid-section. He went right back to the side chinlock. Gujjar fired up but was drilled back down to the mat.
Larry went for a slam but Gujjar slid off his shoulders and drilled him with a right hand. D clotheslined him down for a two count and raked at his face. D continued to pummel him. Gujjar was whipped hard into the buckles but rebounded with a slingblade and a backbreaker.
Gujjar nailed a ripcord knee strike and then a Samoan Drop for a two count. D fired back and nailed a curb stomp for a two count.
D missed a clothesline in the corner but backdropped Gujjar over the top to the apron. D was nailed but caught Gujjar on the top. D went for a superplex but that was blocked. D was shoved down to the ring, where Gujjar speared him from the top and scored the pin.

W. Morrisey came looking for Brian Myers who escaped. Raj Singh, however, bumped into Morrisey and ended up eating a BQE powerbomb through a table.
Austin Theory tried to talk Mike Bailey into having each other's back when it comes to the X-Division title bout at Rebellion. Bailey said he was sure one of them would end up champion but Austin was trying to insinuate he wanted to be champion, which Bailey either ignored or pretended to ignore.
Backstage, Honor No More "welcomed" Josh Alexander back while talking up Taven's main event tonight. Alisha Edwards showed up and said they have another thing coming if they can beat Alexander. Eddie said she chose Impact over him. She said she chose Impact over Honor No More but not him and she hopes he realizes what he's done before it's too late because he's going down the wrong path. He said Impact went down the wrong path, not him, and walked away.
ROH & Reina de Reinas Women's Champion Deonna Purrazzo vs. Giselle Shaw vs. Lady Frost
Deonna told them to fight amongst themselves, but once they did, she attacked. There were a series of fast near falls. Shaw and Purrazzo double booted Frost out of the ring and faced off. They locked up with Shaw sending her into the corner. Shaw drilled her but was hit with a flying bodypress. Frost was charged by Purrazzo but kicked her off.
Frost controlled the ring. Purrazzo missed a charge into the corner on Shaw, hitting the ring post shouler-first. This left Frost and Shaw to battle back and forth with forearms. Purrazzo attacked them and hit both with a standing moonsault press, attempting to pin both.
Purrazzo locked on an armbar on Shaw but Frost locked on a leglock submission on Purrazzo. Shaw made it to the ropes to break it up. Frost speared Purrazzo in the corner and nailed a knee to the face. She charged but was snatched and hit with a back suplex then a back senton splash by Shaw. She avoided a charge and hit a handspring cannonball in the corner.
Frost went for a suplex but Purrazzo slipped in and powered over both with a big throw German suplex. Purrazzo ascended to the top but was met by Frost and hit with a fisherman's superplex. She rolled to the outside.
Shaw attacked Frost but Frost hit her with a forward roll for a two count. Shaw rebounded with a superkick for a two count, then missed a running knee strike. Frost nailed a twisting knee strike and went to the top. She nailed a Blockbuster but was attacked by Purrazzo and hit with the Queen's Gambit.

Gia Miller interviewed Josh Alexander. He said he's been home for weeks and it was time for him to step back in the ring. He's going to handle Honor No More and handle Matt Taven so none of them step in his way again. Then, he can move onto Rebellion against Moose. He's signed his side of the contract and he's waiting for Moose to sign. He'll be watching and waiting for Moose to do something dramatic because Moose knows his time is up at the PPV.
Backstage, Scott D'Amore said that the Good Brothers have their Tag Team rematch next week against Violence by Design. So, Scott is going to take all the teams who are in contention and give them a front row seat next week as it's going to be Lumberjack match. The Good Brothers weren't thrilled about it. The winners of the match next week will defend the titles at Rebellion in an eight team elimination match.
Jonah vs. Zicky Dice
Jonah wiped him out and scored the pin with the Tsunami top rope splace.

PCO was wheeled out on a stretcher and came to life, making his way to the ring. They began brawling. Security and officials tried to break it up. Jonah was brought to the floor. PCO hit a dive to the floor onto everyone.
They showed footage of Tasha Steelz attacking Mickie James at her concert. They announced they will fight next week in a Street Fight. Gia Miller interviewed Mickie James. Chelsea Green wants to be in her corner next week. James said they didn't think it was a great idea.
Masha Slamovich vs. Aurie.
This won't last long. Aurie stepped to her and offered a handshake. Masha took it and dropped her on her head. She missed a big boot in the corner. Aurie nailed some rights but was caught with a heel kick in the corner. Masha drilled her with another kick to the head and a snow plow for the pin.

Gia Miller asked Zicky Dice how he was feeling after his last loss to Jonah. He said that he lost money and pride. He knows he has the look, body and charisma but maybe he sucks as a wrestler. Brian Myers cut him before he found his stride. He said that perhaps there's somewhere he can go. Gia suggested a wrestling school.
They went into a Johnny Swinger's Dungeon, with the idea that he was pushing a new school but it was actually a really sleazy sex club, which he didn't seem to realize.
Josh Alexander vs. Matt Taven with Maria Kanellis
Maria joined Matt and Tom at ringside.
They locked up and went into the corner with Alexander breaking clean. They exchanged headlocks. Alexander shoulderblocked Taven down, with the former ROH Champion heading to the floor to regroup. He returned and drilled Alexander with a forearm, worked him over in the corner and nailed a suplex. Alexander kicked off a charge but was shoved off when he tried to roll up Taven.
Taven went up and over in the corner and caught Josh with a big boot. He worked him over with chops in the corner. Alexander missed a charge but shoulderblocked Taven through the ropes and went to the top. Taven cut him off and nailed a Russian Legsweep, snapping Alexander down to the apron outside.
Taven nailed a running kick through the ropes to Alexander, who was already holding his arm as if it was injured, on the floor. When they returned from commercial, Taven attacked his arm, hitting the Divorce Court and locking in a top wristlock. He focused the attack on the arm. Alexander tried to roll him up but Taven kicked up and nailed a lariat. He went right after the shoulder. Alexander comes back to nail a series of German suplexes but Taven cut him off with a twisting neckbreaker. Taven nailed a quebrada but Alexander pulled his knees up.
The referee counted the two men down as they fought to their feet. Alexander nailed a series of clotheslines and a big backdrop. Alexander nailed a charging forearm in the corner and nailed another bog boot. Taven attacked the arm to stop the assault but was caught with a Northern Lights suplex. Alexander went for the C-4 spike but his arm was too injured. Alexander was caught with a Blue Thunder Bomb for a two count.
Alexander went back to the German suplexes, hitting three in a row. He went for the C4 Spike but Taven rolled through and nailed a knee strike. They battled back and forth. Taven went sent over the top and tried to skin the cat but was nailed. Alexander hit a cross body to the back, sending them through the ropes to the floor.
Alexander tossed him back in and went for the C4 Spike. Taven blocked it and rolled him up for a two count. Taven nailed a Disaster Kick but was snatched in an anklelock. Taven fought his way to the bottom rope and broke the hold. He pulled himself up outside on the apron. Alexander was snapped throat-first on the ropes. Taven went to the top but was stopped and hit with a superplex, then the C4 Spike for the pin.

We see Moose knocking on a door and it's Josh Alexander's house. Obviously Josh is at the Impact Zone, so it's his wife, former ROH star Jade Chung who answers the door. She is shocked to see Moose. He tells her that he's supposed to deliver the contract for his match against Rebellion to the Anthem offices by tonight, but the offices are closed. Since the Alexanders live right down the street, he's dropping it off to her. He sees the Alexanders' son wrapping his arms around his mother's leg, scared of Moose. Moose drops down and asked him if he remembers Moose, calling himself "Daddy's friend from work." He tells the child to tell his father that Moose will see him real soon and walks off.
