HBO MAX, DISCOVERY+ TO BE COMBINED INTO ONE STREAMING SERVICE

As part of Discovery's takeover of Warnermedia, HBO Max and Discovery+, streaming services operated by the two entities that featured professional wrestling-adjacent programming, will be merged into one streaming service, Discovery's Chief Financial Officer Gunnar Wiedenfels confirmed to Variety today.

The plan is to bundle the two services together as they explore the best way to combine them onto one definitive streaming service.

HBO Max features the AEW reality series Rhodes to the Top as well as John Cena's Peacemaker.  Disocvery+ has featured ViceTV's Dark Side of the Ring and recently featured WWE's Drew McIntyre in Shark Week programming.
