NJPW STRONG REPORT: STRICKLAND VERSUS WHITE, AND MORE

Match Number One: Hikuleo versus Kevin Knight

Knight with a drop kick as the bell rings followed by forearms and kicks. Hikuleo tosses Knight into the corner and misses an elbow. Knight with a splash into the corner followed by a forearm. Hikuleo charges at Knight and Knight drops down. Hikuleo goes to the floor. Knight with a pescado. They return to the ring and Knight goes up top and leaps over Hikuleo. Hikuelo with ap op up punch to Knight.

Hikuleo kicks Knight in the ribs and sends him into the turnbuckles. Hikuleo with a Jericho cover for a near fall followed by kicks. Hikuleo with a forearm and Knight with a chop. Hikuleo misses a chop and Knight with European uppercuts. Hikuleo with a forearm and Knight goes down. Hikuleo gets a near fall. Hikuleo chokes Knight in the ropes. Hikuleo stands on Knight’s back.

Hikuleo with a biel across the ring. Hikuleo misses splash into the corner but Hikuleo with a head butt. Hikuleo with a slam for a near fall. Hikuleo with a reverse chin lock. Knight with punches and Hikuleo with a knee and forearm to the back. Hikuleo goes for a suplex and Knight lands on his feet. Knight with forearms and an enzuigiri. Knight with a boot and a drop kick to Hikuleo. Knight with a splash and kick to the leg. Hikuleo grabs Knight and Knight lands on his feet and hits a drop kick for a near fall. Knight with forearms.

Hikuleo gets Knight on his shoulders but Knight lands on his feet. Knight with a flying clothesline and splash for a near fall. Knight goes for a Boston Crab and Hikuleo powers out of the hold. Hikuleo with a choke slam for the three count.

Winner: Hikuleo

Match Number Two: Kevin Blackwood versus Ariya Daivari

Daivari offers his hand and Blackwood thinks about it and he does not trust him but they shake hands. They lock up and Blackwood with a waist lock and take down. Blackwood with a front face lock but Daivari with a reversal. Blackwood with a reversal and he plays around with Daivari. They go to a Greco Roman Knuckle Lock but Daivari with a side head lock and shoulder tackle. Daivari toys with Blackwood to get him back.

They lock up and Blackwood with a wrist lock take down into a frong face lock. Blackwood with a wrist lock and Daivari with a reversal. Blackwood with a knee and suplex. Blackwood gets Daivari up on his shoulders but Daviari with a side Russian leg sweep. Blackwood with a kick to the chest and a chop to Daivari in the corner. Blackwood with a snap mare and kick to the back for a near fall. Blackwood goes for a Cloverleaf but Daivari kicks Blackwood to the floor and follows with a suicide dive.

Daivari with a chop and they return to the ring. Daivari with a back elbow and he gets a near fall. Daivari with a hard Irish whip and chop. Blackwood with an Irish whip and Daivari with a shoulder from the apron and a neck breaker in the ropes. Daivari with a hammer lock DDT for a near fall. Daivari misses the hammer lock clothesline and Blackwood with forearms and punches. Blackwood with a German suplex and he holds on for a second. He tries for a third but Daviari with elbows. Blackwood with a kick tot he temple and a German suplex for a near fall. Daivari sends Blackwood into the turnbuckles.

Blackwood with a rolling elbow and a Death Valley Driver for a near fall. Blackwood with kicks to the chest but Daviar blocks a kick. Blackwood with a forearm. Daivari with a uranage and he sets for the hammer lock clothesline but he can only get a two count. Daviari goes under the ring and gets a chair. The referee warns Daivari and Daivari stops before he can use it. Daivari tosses the chair to the floor and Blackwood with an inside cradle for the three count.

Winner: Kevin Blackwood

After the match, Daivari attacks Blackwood from behind with a forearm and then he kicks Blackwood. Daivari with punches and more kicks. Daivari with a hammer lock clothesline and then he pulls Blackwood towards the corner for a flying carpet splash.

Match Number Three: Jay White versus Swerve Strickland

Before the match starts, Jay offers Strickland a spot in the Bullet Club and he wants to get Too Sweeted but Strickland kicks White in the head.

Strickland kicks White in the corner and White goes ot the floor . Strickland with a boot from the apron and he is able to take off his jacket. Strickland sends White back into the ring and he punches White and chops him. Strickland with a head scissors take down and he gets a near fall. White goes to the floor.

White teases a return to the ring but he keeps returning to the floor. Strickland keeps White from going back to the floor and he stomps on White’s hands and does a slingshot splash for a near fall. Strickland with a boot to the back and a knee drop for a near fall. Strickland blocks a punch and he punches White in the ribs. White blocks a rolling move and sets for Blade Runner but Strickland escapes. White with a DDT and kicks. White with chops and kicks. White chokes Strickland in the corner. White sends Strickland to the floor and he sends Strickland into the apron and guardrails many times.

White with a chop and Strickland gets back into the ring. Strickland with forearms but White with an elbow to the leg followed by a swinging neck breaker for a near fall. White with a rear chin lock. White with a snap mare and reverse chin lock. Strickland slaps White and White rakes the eyes. White with a rear chin lock. White pulls Strickland to the mat but Strickland with a chop. White with a chop. Strickland continues with another chop. White wants a chance for another chop and he connects with a series of them. Strickland with a forearm and White goes to the floor. Strickland with a running forearm or two followed by an elbow into the corner.

Strickland goes to the turnbuckles and hits a corkscrew elbow to the back of the neck. White with a chop and Strickland with a tilt-a-whirl power slam and a brainbuster for a near fall. Strickland with a half nelson and White with elbows. White with a waist lock and Strickland with elbows. White with a Saito suplex. White with a European uppercut into the corner followed by an Irish whip and another European uppercut. Strickland with an inside cradle for a near fall. White with a flatliner and a dead lift German suplex. White with a swinging suplex for a near fall. Strickland kicks White in the back and White stands on Strickland’s neck and stomps on the chest.

Strickland blocks a uranage and Strickland with elbows and White with a knee. White with a forearm and Strickland fires back. White with a chop and Strickland with a kick to the chest. Strickland with another kick to the chest and White with a chop. Strickland with punches and kicks. White with a forearm and Strickland with a back heel kick. White with a uranage and both men are down. White with a forearm to the lower back and he goes for a sleeper suplex but Strickland blocks it. Strickland lands on his feet and hits a series of kicks. Strickland goes to the turnbuckles and leaps over White and he sends White to the apron. Strickland with a leg sweep and back heel kick. White hangs from the apron and Strickland with a double stomp off the apron.

Strickland goes up top and hits a double stomp for a near fall. White with a snap mare and he tries for a Blade Runner. Strickland rolls through and he hyper-extends the arm by stomping on it. White tries to push Strickland into the corner and collide with the referee but Strickland stops short. The referee has his back turned and White with a low blow. White with a sleeper suplex and Blade Runner for the three count.

Winner: Jay White

After the match, White gets the mic and he tells Strickland to get out of his ring. White says he is not here to listen to you, you are here to listen to me. Whose house? That is what happens when you come here and disrespect me in my house. You never know where or when you are going to see me except for one place and that is New Japan Strong.
