COMPLETE AEW DYNAMITE REPORT

By Anthony Pires on 2022-03-09 20:24:00

It's Wednesday Night! And that means that we are fresh off AEW Revolution and the fallout promises to be fierce.  The World Heavyweight Championship will be defended tonight!  Jim Ross, Tony Schiavone and Excalibur have the call of the action LIVE on TBS.

Chris Jericho, Le Champion himself, comes out to the ring and is serenaded by the "Judas" singing crowd.  He says, oddly, that Revolution was one of the best nights of his life.  He thinks it might have been his best AEW match.  He thanks Eddie Kingston for bringing out the beast that he forgot was in there.  He admits he went back on his word when he refused to shake Kingston's hand.  He admits that he was beaten fair and square and asks Kingston to come out so he can apologize.

Out comes the Mad King, he wants the music cut.  Kingston says we're about to get real deep.  Last Friday, he didn't want to show.  He wanted to drink and party and sabotage himself.  He admits he was afraid but at FanFest Saturday, four different people told him they didn't commit suicide because of him.  That gave him the pride he needed.  Eddie hopes he did those people proud.  He wants to know what Jericho is missing inside of him that wouldn't allow himself to shake his hand.  Jericho says he respects him and thanks him for the match.  He asks Kingston to shake his hand.

They shake hands and 2.0 comes out with Daniel Garcia.  They take Jericho out quick and then stomp down Kingston. Santana and Ortiz make the save.  As Ortiz holds Garcia, Jericho smacks him with the bat, turning on Proud and Powerful.  Jake Hager comes out and joins Jericho.  Jericho beats Kingston down with Floyd the bat.  This is a mugging!  Jericho slaps Kingston and jams him with the bat.  Lee and Parker set up a table and Hager powerbombs Kingston off the apron through it.

The Inner Circle is dead.  Welcome to the Jericho Appreciation Society.

We get a video package reviewing the Dog collar match between MJF and CM Punk from Revolution.
