DC's League of Super-Pets will now be released on 7/29, which was formerly the release for Black Adam.  Adam will be moved back to 10/21.

Black Adam is an ancient Egyptian predecessor of DC Comics' Shazam! who became corrupted after receiving his powers. He's one of the more powerful and popular DC Comic villains and will allow Rock to play a darker character.  There were allusions made to him, although not by name, in DC's feature film adaptation of Shazam!   DC Comics' original superhero team The Justice Society of America will be featured in the film, including the characters of Hawkman, The Atom Smasher, Dr. Fate and Cyclone.

Johnson is voicing Krypto, Superman's dog in the animated DC's League of Super-Pets  Other members of the League include Ace the Bat-Hound (voiced by Kevin Hart, reuniting with Johnson)

Rock's production company Seven Bucks Productions are producing the films.
