NJPW STRONG REPORT

Match Number One: Brogan Finlay versus TJP

They lock up and Finlay with a side head lock. TJP with a front face lock and side head lock. Finlay with a reversal. Finlay with a wrist lock. TJP with a drop kick. They lock up and TJP with a hammer lock into a wrist lock. Finlay with a reversal into an arm bar and wrist lock. TJP with a head scissors take down. Finlay with a head scissors. TJP with a headstand to escape and he gets a near fall. Finlay with a back slide. TJP with a side head lock. Finlay with a back slide for a near fall. Finlay with a side head lock take down.

TJP with an abdominal stetch but Finlay gets to the ropes. TJP with a kick and he sends Finlay into the turnbuckles. TJP with a kick. Finlay with an Irish whip and TJP with a head scissors out of the corner. TJP pushes Finlay into the turnbuckles a few times. TJP sends Finlay into the turnbuckles. TJP with a face wash and a running boot to the head. TJP with another running boot to the head. TJP with a snap mare and he uses his boot on Finlay’s face.

TJP with a snap mare and a slingshot senton. TJP works on the shoulder and drops a knee on the arm. TJP with a reverse chin lock. Finlay with punches but TJP with a European uppercut. TJP hyper-extends the arm. TJP goes to the turnbuckles and misses a swanton. Finlay with a back body drop and running European uppercut and clothesline in the corner. Finlay with a Finlay slam for a near fall. Finlay goes for a suplex but TJP blocks it and kicks Finlay. Finlay with a clothesline and both men are down.

They exchange forearms and then TJP kicks Finlay in the leg and connects with a European uppercut. Finlay wit a chop and a running boot. Finlay gets TJP up but TJP pulls the hair and drop kicks Finlay in the leg. TJP with a frog splash and a Regal stretch to force Finlay to tap out.

Winner: TJP

After the match, TJP takes the mic and he says he appreciates the support but he is going to speak. TJP says he wouldn’t want to speak to you but a statement had to be made and on the son of a legend. The statement is the United Empire can make short work out of anybody. The United Empire is a team of GOATs and you are looking at the greatest junior heavyweight of all time. I will soon be the most decorated junior heavyweight of all time. He is an X Division champion, a Cruiserweight Champion, and will be the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion.

Mascara Dorada makes his way to the ring and he gets in TJP’s face. TJP pushes Dorada and Dorada pushes back. Dorada with a head scissors take down and TJP goes to the floor. Dorada teases a dive to the floor and does a handspring back into the ring.

Match Number Two: Karl Fredericks versus Christopher Daniels

Daniels has some words before locking up and he offers his hand but Karl does not reciprocate. They lock up and Daniels with a wrist lock. Karl with a reversal and waist lock take down. Daniels with a hammer lock into a front face lock. Daniels holds on while Fredericks tries to escape. Karl backs Daniels into the ropes and teases a punch but gives a clean break. Daniels with a wrist lock into a hammer lock.

Karl with a wrist lock but Daniels with a reverse chin lock. Daniels with a side head lock take down and Karl with a head scissors. Daniels with a side head lock after escaping. Daniels with a shoulder tackle but Karl does not move. Karl tells Daniels to do it again. Daniels with a leg trip. Karl with a cross body for a near fall. Karl with an arm bar and double wrist lock take down. Karl tries for a cross arm breaker but Daniels blocks it. Daniels escapes.

Karl with a kick and elbow. Daniels with a flapjack. Daniels with a drop kick. Daniels with a knee to the midsection and he gets a near fall. Daniels with a gutbuster for a near fall. Daniels with shoulders in the corner. Daniels backs Karl into the corner and connects with shoulders and chops. Karl gets in Daniels’ face and Karl pushes Daniels down. They exchange forearms with Karl gaining the advantage. Karl with a European uppercut and Irish whip but Daniels with a kick and spear for a near fall.

Daniels with a flapjack and he gets a near fall. Daniels with a waist lock. Karl with elbows to escape. Daniels goes for a uranage but Karl counters with an arm drag. Karl with an enzuigiri after Daniels misses a clothesline. Karl with a clothesline and back elbow followed by a back body drop. Karl with a forearm into the corner. Karl with more forearms and then Karl with a hesitation drop kick into the corner. Karl with a belly-to-back suplex followed by an elbow drop for a near fall. Karl with a front face lock and Daniels blocks a suplex attempt. Daniels with a Blue Thunder Bomb for a near fall. Karl with an Irish whip and Daniels sends Karl to the apron. Karl goes for a sunset flip but Daniels blocks it and gets a near fall. Karl and Daniels exchange near falls. They exchange forearms and Daniels with a rollup and then he sets for Angel’s Wings but Karl blocks it and gets a jackknife cover. Karl goes for a DDT but Daniels escapes. Karl with a rollup for a near fall. Karl misses a splash into the corner and Daniels with a uranage and Best Moonsault Ever for the three count.

Winner: Christopher Daniels

After the match, Daniels gets on the mic and says he is positive he heard some SCU chants. He love the SoCal pride. Daniels tells Karl he didn’t know a lot about him tonight, but after tonight he knows that Karl is one tough son of a bitch. If you are an example of what is happening in New Japan’s LA Dojo, professional wrestling is live and well in 2022 because of people like this. You took me to the limit. You made New Japan proud. You made Shibata proud. If you ever want to run this back and do it again, I would be proud to share the ring with you because you are the future of the business.

They shake hands and Daniels raises Fredericks’ hand. They bow.

Match Number Three: David Finlay and Juice Robinson versus Bad Dude Tito and Jonah

Finlay and Robinson enter the ring and go after Jonah and Tito. They exchange punches while the referee tries to get things under control. Jonah with punches to Finlay while Tito punches Robinson. Robinson with punches to Tito while Finlay punches and head butts Jonah. Juice rolls to the floor and Tito goes to the apron so the referee can start the match.

Jonah with a punch to Finlay and Tito tags in and kicks Finlay. Tito with shoulders in the corner and he tags Jonah back in and Jonah with shoulders in the corner. Finlay with a punch and Jonah with a double sledge. Tito tags in and Jonah with a slam followed by a slingshot senton from Tito. Tito chokes Finlay in the ropes and then runs him into the corner.

Jonah tags in and Tito with a punch. They hit a double shoulder tackle. Jonah with a rear chin lock into a reverse chin lock. Finlay with forearms and Jonah with a back elbow. Jonah presses Finlay over hid head but Finlay counters into a DDT and both men are down. Juice and Tito tag in and they exchange forearms. Juice with a knee and Tito with a forearm. Juice with a spinebuster and clothesline into the corner. Robinson with a cannonball. Juice with a pescado but Jonah catches Juice and runs him into the ring post. Tito goes for a belly-to-back suplex and Finlay tags in and hits a running European uppercut. Juice with a back breaker and Finlay with an elbow off the turnbuckles for a near fall.

Juice tags in and Jonah trips Finlay to stop a double team move and Tito with a running back elbow. Jonah and Tito go for a double delayed vertical suplex and then Tito lets Jonah take over. Tito with a boot to the head and Jonah with a brainbuster. Tito gets a near fall. Jonah with a head butt to Finlay and then Jonah pounces Finlay to Tito for a choke slam. Jonah picks up Juice and Tito goes to the turnbuckles for a blockbuster and a near fall.

Jonah sets for a power bomb and Juice with a rana to send Jonah into the turnbuckles. Juice and Finlay with a double flapjack. Juice with a forearm and Finlay with a cutter. Juice with a forearm to the back of the head followed by a Northern Lariat to Jonah. Juice gets Tito on his shoulders and Jonah crotches Finlay. While the referee deals with the action in the ring, Shane Haste comes to the ring and hits a Saito suplex on Juice. Tito goes up top and hits a frog splash for the three count.

Winners: Bad Dude Tito and Jonah

After the match, Shane Haste celebrates with Jonah and Tito. Shane sends Juice over the top rope to the floor. Finlay comes back into the ring but Jonah, Haste, and Tito work over Finlay. Brogan Finlay comes into the ring to help his brother but Jonah with a running body block while Haste and Tito hold him. Tito holds Finlay to watch Haste hit a Death Valley choke slam. Jonah goes up top and hits a frog splash.

David goes after Haste and Tito but they punch David and Jonah with a back senton.
