AEW REVOLUTION FANFEST NEWS AND NOTES

I attended the AEW Revolution Fanfest today and had a great time.  Here are some notes of interest beyond the AEW Dark taping results I sent earlier:

*They recorded audio for the forthcoming AEW video game at the Fanfest, asking the fans to cheer, boo and do certain chants that were recorded for inclusion in the game.

*Upper Deck, which handles the AEW trading cards, had a really fun booth where you could pose for a photo and have it turned into your own, one of a kind AEW trading card.

*As you noted, they had lot of new AEW action figures on display in advance of their release, including Eddie Kingston, Thunder Rosa, a "First Dance" CM Punk complete with his Larry the dog Hoodie.

*There were obviously a lot of paid meet and greet and photo opportunities with members of the roster BUT what was also GREAT and made this even more worth the price is a ton of talents made themselves available for free photos, including The Acclaimed, Tony Schiavone, Leyla Hirsch, Skye Blue, 10 and -1 from The Dark Order, Abadon (who was INSIDE A CAGE to prevent her from attacking fans!), Leva Bates, Fuego del Sol, Lee Johnson, AQA, Top Flight, Brock Anderson, The Nightmare Factory contingent and probably others I am not even remembering offhand. 

Little things like that just made it seem like a more interactive, fun event as opposed to something designed to make you feel like you were trapped in a vacuum that just wants to suck your money out of the wallet.
