MLW FUSION REPORT: A BOUNTY, A TITLE MATCH, AND MORE

Your announcers are Rich Bocchini and Joe Dombrowski.

We begin with a look back at Richard Holliday and Cesar Duran from last week.

Alicia Atout and Richard Holliday are in a room and Alicia says everyone loves the new power couple in MLW. Holliday says he does not love that he beat up Contra, saved Cesar, and was promised a title match. He was cut in line by Davey Richards. How rude. I don’t know who you think you are but I know who I am. I am going to right that wrong and I have an incentive. Richard and Alicia show a briefcase full of money for anyone who can get Davey out of the main event next week.

Match Number One: Alex Kane (with Mr. Thomas) versus Calvin Tankman for the MLW Openweight Championship

They exchange punches as the bell rings. Tankman backs Kane into the corner na d punches Kane to the floor. Kane returns to the ring and Tankman with a punch. Tankman with a clothesline into the corner but Kane escapes a slam attempt. Kane tries for a German suplex but cannot get Tankman up. Tankmn with elbows. Kane tries for an exploder but cannot get him up. Tankman with forearms. Kane with a cutter but Tankman stays on his feet. Tankman with a shoulder tackle that sends Kane to the floor.

Kane drops the leg in the ropes and then puts the leg in the ropes and punches Tankman in the leg. Kane with kicks to the leg and then Mr. Thomas hits Tankman with the pipe. Kane continues to work on the leg but Kane with shots to the leg and Thomas with more punches. The referee tells Kane to stay back as we go to commercial.

We are back and the referee checks on Tankman and tells him that he will not let Tankman continue the match so he calls for the bell.

Winner: Alex Kane [by referee stoppage] (retains Championship)

After the match, Tankman wants to continue.

We go to the back.

We see footage of Homicide attacking Davey Richards in the back. Davey fights back.

Davey wants to know where Holliday is.

Alex Kane says that Calvin Tankman is a crybaby and a quitter.

Tankman limps back to the ring and we have a new match.

Match Number Two: Calvin Tankman versus Alex Kane (with Mr. Thomas) for the MLW Openweight Championship

Kane with forearms and Tankman pushes Kane. Tankman blocks a punch and connects with a forearm. Tankman misses a punch but Kane with a German suplex. Kane with another German suplex. Kane with another German suplex. Tankman with a pop up back fist for a near fall. Tankman signals that it is over. Kane avoids a Tankman Driver and Kane with a take down and jackknife cover for the three count.

Winner: Alex Kane (retains championship)

We take another look at what happened last week between Richard Holliday and Cesar Duran.

We also see the offer of the bounty.

We look at highlights from the Tag Team Title match between Los Parks and 5150.

We go to 5150.

Boogie says they are sick of the second generation wrestlers and they say that they aren’t the children of wrestlers. Boogie says they did it by themselves. Rivera says now Ricky Morton and his kid are coming after their titles? They didn’t do anything to earn a title match. Rivera says they are going to end all of these family legacies when they face them in the ring.
We go to commercial.

We are back with a Killer Kross video.

Karlee Perez and King Muertes are in a room and she tells Muertes that he can be a God with what she gives him.

Match Number Three: Ho Ho Lun versus KC Navarro

Navarro offers his hand and Lun shakes it. Lun with a single leg take down and he misses a back heel kick. Navarro hangs in the ropes and Lun goes after him and Navarro moves. Navarro flips into the ring and hits a drop kick that sends Lun to the floor. Navaroo with a suicide dive. Lun is sent back into the ring and Navarro gets a near fall.

Lun with a series of kicks while we see a scuffle between ACH and Alex Kane in the back. Navarro with a knee and Lun pulls Navarro off the turnbuckles and Navarro holds the back of his neck. Lun with a snap mare and rake of the eyes followed by a drop kick for a near fall. Navarro with forearms and Lun with a jumping heel kick. Navarro with a kick and Lun with a knee and Falcon Arrow for a near fall.

Lun with a kick to the head and a back heel kick. Navarro with a Codebreaker and Navarro with a kick and Jesus Case for the three count.

Winner: KC Navarro

After the match, Rich asks KC about coming back from his injury against NZO. KC says NZO took three months off his career. He says he looked up to NZO. You said I could do it if I put everything into it. Why did you attack me? Because I got on TV before you? You are not a Real 1, you are a real bitch. Your ass is next to be blessed.

We see footage of the Saito brothers attacking Davey Richards but Richards was able to evade them.

We go to Budd Heavy and Gnarls Garvin drinking in a bar.

Gnarls says they can’t lose to the Saito brothers. He says they need to devise a plan. We need to fight a little drunker. Budd falls off his chair from drinking too much.

We go to commercial.

We see footage of ACH and Alex Kane arguing in the back but they are held back by referees.

Alex Kane and Mr. Thomas are standing against a wall and Emilio Sparks invades their personal space to ambush them to discuss Alex’s victory over Calvin Tankman.

Alex says he destroyed Calvin.

Calvin Tankman shows up and he charges at Kane as the camera feed goes out.

We go to commercial.
We are back and Davey Richards has a pool cue. He sees The Saitos and Homicide and they try to corner Richards. An elevator opens behind Richards and King Muertes is in the elevator. All four attack Richards.

Alex Hammerstone shows up to make the save for Richards.

We see Richard Holliday and Alicia Atout watching and they leave.

Cesar Duran comes out before our main event.

He says as proven by a basketball team, this city is full of losers. You are going to love the greatest matchmaker on the planet because it is time for the mystery opponent in the Middleweight Championship match.

He says that this man is the most wanted. He is Bandido.

Match Number Four: Bandido versus Myron Reed versus Tajiri versus Matt Cross for the MLW Middleweight Championship

Reed goes after Tajiri but misses and Tajiri kicks Reed. Bandido sends Cross to the floor and we have Bandido and Tajiri I the ring. They lock up and Bandido with a wrist lock and arm drag. Tajiri with an arm drag. Bandido with a leg sweep and cover and Tajiri does the same. They go to a stalemate. Reed with a drop kick to Tajiri and Cross kicks Bandido to the floor. Cross with a side head lock to Reed and a shoulder tackle. Reed gets Cross on his shoulders but Cross escapes. Reed with a matrix and round kick.

Bandido and Reed have their chance and they exchange forearms. Bandido with a kick and a head scissors take down and drop kick. Cross leaps over Bandido nd Bandido with a Superman upunch. Cross with ale gseep but misses a moonsault and lands on his feet. Cross with a satellite head scissors but Bandido with a handspring to land on his feet.

Bandido with a kick to Cross but Cross with a back breaker.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Cross with a handspring back elbow and springboard cross body to Bandido for a near fall. Tajiri kicks Cross and follows with more strikes. Tajiri with kicks to Bandido and then he kicks Reed as Reed comes off the turnbuckles. Reed with an Irish whip and Tajiri with the tarantula on Reed. Tajiri misses a buzzsaw kick and Bandido with a super kick to Tajiri. Reed with a super kick to Cross.

Reed takes off the shirt and he exchanges chops with Bandido. Reed with forearms and chops but Bandido with a one arm press but Reed gets to his feet. Reed with stundog millionaire and a back heel kick. Reed goes to the turnbuckles and goes for a cutter but Bandido blocks it. Reed gets Bandido on his shoulders. Cross goes up top and hits a double stomp on Bandido on Reed’s shoulders. Cross with a suicide dive to Tajiri and Bandido with a crucifix into a rollup on Reed for a near fall. Bandido with a kick and a crucifix driver to Reed for a near fall. Bandido puts Cross on the turnbuckles and kicks him. Reed gets Bandido on his shoulders. Cross with a cross body attempt on Bandido but Bandido catches Cross and hits a fallaway slam on Cross while he is able to hit a poisonrana on Reed.

Tajiri kicks Bandido and then he gets a near fall on Cross and Reed. Tajiri spits mist in Bandido’s face and Reed pushes Bandido into Tajiri. Cross with a rebound double cutter. Cross goes up top and hits a shooting star press but Reed is able to add a cutter on Cross and they land on Bandido. Reed with a cover on Cross for the three count.

Winner: Myron Reed (new champion)

After the match, Reed celebrates his victory.

We are told that next week, Alex Kane will defend the Openweight Championship against Calvin Tankman and ACH. We will also see KC Navarro versus NZO and The Von Erichs versus 5150 for the Tag Team Championship.
