3/4/22 - Tyrone, GA

Streaming on IWTV.live

ACTION Wrestling makes their grand return after AC Mack captured both the IWTV championship and the rights to Season 4 of Uncharted Territory at “Southeast First” in January. The Northeast (mostly represented by Beyond Wrestling’s Denver Colorado) is sending their best talent to get the belt back into the region…as AC Mack has to contender with the ACTION debut of the surging Masha Slamovich tonight. Dylan Hales and Johnny Mosely are on commentary! Scott Hensley is your announcer! The crowd looks great! Let’s goooooo!

After losing their tag team championships in EMBARRASSING fashion to Violence if Forever, The Skulk are trying to get back into the win column. Suplex Science hit the ring in full power rangers garb, complete with the theme. The crowd already loves Kane & Tangra but this is just extra popping off for them tonight. Alanis victimized early. Tangra forcibly tosses Gray into the ring and stomps him out, Alanis with a cheap shot to Kane and a throat shot to Tangra takes the momentum back. Tangra landing forearms but Gray gets a receipt on the earlier attack and ambushes the Mat Scientist. Tangra keeps fighting back but Skulk keeps Kane knocking off the apron repeatedly. Tangra fighting effectively, almost ending things with a guillotine but Gray sentons in with the save. Cobra clutch backbreaker for two. Tangra with a Bulgarian gutbuster! Kane gets the tag! It’s suplex o clock! Skulk blasted to the mat repeatedly. Gray buckle bombed into Alanis! Angle slam to Liam. Gray kicks out of a AA powerbomb combo! Alanis cuts off a hart attack! Superkick to Kane! Tangra tosses Alanis! Gray with a flying knee! Dive to Kane! Alanis with a sling blade backbreaker! Shotgun dropkick! Alanis tries a burning hammer but Tangra reverses into a STF! Alanis slips out! Tangra with a front guillotine…Liam off the top and drops Tangra into a facebuster for the pin! Hard fought win for the former champs!

Winners: The Skulk

Match 2: Ashton Starr vs Bobby Flaco

This is just a feel good match! High energy back and forth! Bob’s getting the better of Starr early until he is introduced to the post, the actual hardest part of the ring. Trading chops and forearms at ringside! Bobby hits a huge missile dropkick and unloads on Ashton! Big lariat and dropkick from Starr! Corner crossbody! Bob dodges a top rope stomp and firing off shots! X-Factor! Wheelbarrow flatliner for two! Starr battling out of the A-YO driver but can’t escape a cutter off the top! Starr catches Bob with an up and over and hits a northern lights! Alabama slam! Powerbomb! Kick out! Starr up for a moonsault…hits nothing! Trading strikes, double head kick and both are dropped! Flaco crawls up the buckles, misses the dive, Starr gets him up for a powerbomb…Flaco hits a poisonrana! Starr to the outside, Flaco corkscrews out at him! Apron cutter! Falcon off the top and eats a knee! Starr and Flaco back and forth quick pins, Ashton counters best and leverages Flaco to the mat for the three!

Winner: Ashton Starr

Match 3: BK Westbrook vs “The Loaded Arm” Adam Priest

It’s still weird to me that Adam Priest is a baby face now. Regardless, Priest takes the brash Westbrook and gives him a grappling lesson, spanking the young in’ and sending him to the rope. Westbrook keeps taunting and Priest wraps him up for some pain. Back elbow to the side of the head but an irritated Adam Priest chops BK in half. Priest may be getting cheers but he hasn’t changed his hard hitting get it done style up at all. Westbrook rammed into the second buckle face first and eating chops. Westbrook with an opportune boot to the head and gets into an even trade with Priest. Hot shot over the top rope! Slingshot back elbow from BK for two! Priest blocks a sliced bread, snap ddt for two! Priest out of a backslide, brain buster! Alabama Jam to the back of the head ends Westbrook’s night!

Winner: Adam Priest

It’s time for Erron Wade’s Open Challenge and we have another trial for the Baby Dragon tonight! He still wants to earn his spot on the ACTION roster. Who is going to pummel him tonight??? YESSSS IT’S MERRIK DONOVAN!!!

Match 4: “Baby Dragon” Erron Wade vs “Sir Knight” Merrik Donovan

Time to slay a dragon. Erron Wade is working faster and defensive early until Donovan cuts him down with a chop. Donovan grabs a heel hook but gets slapped out. Big corner spear and a powerslam for two! Wade throwing hard kicks! Donovan swept but he takes out the knee! Dropping bombs to the baby dragon’s face! Wade dodging shots and hitting kicks again, shotgun to the corner! Wade’s knee is messed up but he hits a Michanoku driver for two! Merrik blocks a crane kick! Donovan tries to lock him but he’s shot off the rope and eats crane kick after all! Wade takes too long to make the pin! Merrik kicks out! Snap dragon suplex! Spinout slam (The Conquest) connects and Sir Knight has conquered this dragon!

Winner: Merrik Donovan

Jaden Newman charges the ring and berates Wade, his trainee, for losing repeatedly in ACTION. He calls him a disgrace to the TWE dojo. He takes Wade’s armband and demands Wade waits in the corner as he shows him how to win. Of course, Newman’s opponent is this man. Let’s see how THIS goes.

Match 5: Jaden Newman (W/ Pete Youngblood & Carson Dilbeck) vs Dominic Garrini (w/ Kevin Ku)

Big Dom picks the ankle and forces Newman right to the rope. Garrini pops Jaden up and tries to wrap up the arm and neck. The TWE goons keep the ref distracted so Newman can’t get caught. He ALMOST gets the hangman’s clutch but Dom is out and chops him stupid. Dom is distracted, Newman with a cheap forearm to the back of the head. Running kick puts Dom on the defense. He wraps up the legs and taunts the Bone Collector…like an overconfident fool might do. Newman throwing flurries of chops and stomps to keep Dom down. Big lariat for two! Newman slaps Dom. Uh oh. Garrini fires back and kicks the heck out of Newman’s spine. Jaden rakes the eyes and hits a dropkick! Dom blasting strikes and elbows! Jaden getting rag dolled around! Big lariat and Dom has this wrapped up but Youngblood distracts the ref. Kevin Ku runs him off but Jaden hits a cravat driver in the chaos for a really close two. Trading shots in the center, jackknife piledriver! Dilbeck off the top and Dom takes him out of the air! As the ref gets Dilbeck out of the ring, The Skulk hits the ring with a rag covered in ether! They chloroform Dom! Jaden applies the Hangman’s clutch and Dom is already passed out as the ref turns back to the action.

Winner: Jaden Newman

Newman forces Erron Wade into the ring to force Dom’s prone body to tap out. Kevin Ku flies to the ring to run Newman off. We go to an unplanned intermission as CEO Matt Griffin, Dylan Hales, Ku & Wade help Garrini out of the ring and to the back. The camera follows them out of the building as ACTION champion Arik Royal is waiting for his entrance and being told he has to wait while they tend to Garrini.

As we come back from intermission, Masha Slamovich is making her entrance for her IWTV title shot.

Match 6: AC Mack(c) vs Masha Slamovich (for the IWTV Championship)

This may be the debut of the usually ultra popular Masha Slamovich…but this is AC Mack’s house….and Masha is repping Beyond Wrestling tonight. The crowd rains down the “Southeast First” chants. “This is who you send?” says Mack through the camera to Beyond’s Denver Colorado. Masha ambushes Mack during his self-introduction. Slamovich takes him right into the crowd and throws him to the bleachers. She wipes out rows of chairs with his body. Dylan Hales is calling this “a hit” instead of a match. Suplex into non-folding chairs. Masha is pummeling him as the crowd boos her hard. The ref tries to get this fight into the ring so he can ring the bell. CEO Matt Griffin may have caused a distraction and Mack slams her to the apron. Masha eats the chairs! Face slammed off the bleachers! Round the ring big boot to a seated Masha! He tries again but Masha meets him with a cannonball! Mack caught in a triangle on the floor and blasts him into the chairs. Slamovich gets him into the ring and this is a match now! Masha trying to choke Mack out and gets warned off by the ref several times! Mack with a double knees to the corner and a dropkick to the back of the head for two! Masha is absolutely mad and screaming for more shots from the champ. Masha catches Mack with a side Russian leg sweep pin for two! She tries to twist his neck off. Mack with a slap fires her up! Leg lariat! Enziguri! Slamovich is mad but planted with a flatliner for two! Masha to the outside! Mack with a suicide dive! Masha pulls a fan into the way of the dives! Time for the Mack 10? She reverses into a straight jacket choke and slams him back on his damn head for two! Masha comes running into a meteora! Flying kick to the corner! High velocity powerbomb! Masha hits the mat so hard but she’s out at two! This match rules. He tries again, jackknife pin for two! Masha hits a package piledriver! Mack gets a foot to the rope at 2.9! Masha is furious! She comes running, Mack flips her up and over, she’s in position! MACK 10 CONNECTS! One! Two! Three! This was absolutely fantastic.

Winner: AC Mack

Ashton Starr is out here with a mic! It’s time to congratulate AC Mack! But also, they have some business to settle. They had an agreement to protect the IWTV belt at WWR+…as long as Starr got a title shot. And he wants it NOW! Mack says YES…but not now! Starr contends that Mack wouldn’t be here without him…but also last time they fought, Mack tapped out. He’s not waiting. Tomorrow at the Scenic City Rumble, Mack will put his title on the line against him…and Starr will see him TOMORROW!

Match 7: “Poisoned Youth” Robert Martyr vs “The Boozerweight” Matt Sells

Matt Sells gets the mic. He wasn’t supposed to but YOLO, he’s the king of Tyrone. Ring the bell. Dylan Hales mentions that he’s working distracted right now because of the Action Championship situation. Martyr is not putting up with Sells’ schtick, he’s waits impatiently for Matt to actually be ready to wrestle. Sells hitting shoulder blocks and slams with ease and Martyr powders to regroup. This is crushing Martyr’s self image as a good wrestler. Sells using his veteran experience  to land shot after shot on Martyr, who keeps trying to make this a technical affair. Sells misses a double knee and Martyr hits a suplex to take control finally. Martyr punishes the knee and chops Sells down to the mat. Trading punches and slaps in the center. Martyr eating back elbows. Cutter off the second but Sells may have hurt his knee. He tries to hump Martyr’s face into the mat but he can’t get him over with his hurt knee. Martyr with a running knee! Matt Sells gets Martyr over, 10 humps to the mat for two. Sells is still limping, Martyr takes out the knee one more times and cradles Sells for the three count!

Winner: Robert Martyr

It’s time to close this show out so let’s hit Schoolboy Q and bring out the ACEGAWD! Does he have an opponent? Is Kevin Ku back from the hospital? Is Dominic Garrini okay? The champ waits…Cue the Cranberries and Kevin Ku is here!!!

Main Event: “The ACEGAWD” Arik Royal(c) vs Kevin Ku (for the ACTION Championship)

Ku is walking Royal down and trying to kick out the champ’s limbs. Royal is giving back but sent to the corner. Ku lighting up the leg. Royal out and in, slips through the legs and drops Ku on his head. Ace trying to wrench the leg, Ku throwing shots to the back of the head! Trading hard chops, Ku dropped on his back. Forearms back and forth, Ku to one knee and Royal come crashing in with a flying knee strike. Royal with a body scissor, Ku throwing elbows to the knee of the champ! Royal with an elbow to the back of the head but Ku twists the ankle to get free. Forearm flurry and a lariat sends Royal down! German suplex! Chops and chest kicks! Royal catches him running with a sidewalk slam backbreaker! Two count! Brawling to the floor, Ku landing kicks on the floor, Royal brained off the apron. Fighting on the edge, Ku with a chop flurry! Royal rakes the eye! Kobe onto the apron! Both guys down on the outside! Royal crawling to the ring as the ref counts. Ku in at 9…Arik traps him in the ropes! Running European uppercut and no defense! Ku kicks out! Kevin escapes a powerbomb position, snapdragon! Royal hits the powerbomb! Ku stuck in a figure four and he’s dead center! Royal grabbing the ropes for leverage. Ku drags himself to the ropes to break it. Arik setting up the Kobe. Ku dodges, fisherman’s buster! Cradle for two! Ku comes running, Royal hits the Kobe. The ref counts three but Ku’s leg is under the rope! Royal is furious! He comes in for an Acegawd’s curse! Ku traps him and dropping elbows! Ku traps a standing ankle lock, the ACEGAWD is in trouble! Half crab! Royal reaching for the ropes! Ku sinks back hard and Royal taps out just inches from the ropes! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!

Winner (and new ACTION Champion): Kevin Ku

WOW. “Not just a tag team wrestler.” says Ku. He knows he has SHOES TO FILL, as only the third champion in ACTION’s history and the first singles championship of his career. Dom Garrini is out here, back from the hospital and says the Skulk is dead next he sees them. I’m not gonna lie, the ACEGAWD was MY champ and I’m sad to see this switch…but I’m also really excited for Ku to take this ball and run with it.

And that’s it for “The Movement Begins”. Great show top to bottom, obviously the two championship matches ruled the night but everyone brought their energy and showed out in front of a very game Georgia crowd. Tomorrow night is the Scenic City Rumble, AC Mack has a test from his friend Ashton Starr before heading up this way for his war with SLADE. Until then!
