SECOND 2/27 WWE IN ROCHESTER, NY LIVE REPORT

Lower bowl of the house was completely packed and one of the guards told me that there were about 5,000 tickets sold.  I was able to get 2 tickets just off the floor for 70.00, so, that wasn’t too bad. 

I did not catch the ring announcer’s name, but, she said it was her first live event.  Overall good show, but, the main event really killed the crowd.

Advertised but didn't show -- Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins

Show stated with –

(1)          Finn Balor beating Apollo Crews (no Commander Aziz) with his finisher. Simple opener, nothing out of the ordinary.  Finn is definitely over here in Rochester.

(2)          Alpha Academy beat The Mysterios and The Street Profits in a triple threat when while everyone was outside the ring after a number of dives which left Montez Ford alone in the ring , Montez went to do a dive on the pile and Gable slid into the ring and quickly rolled him up and held the tights for the pin. 

(3)          Kevin Ovens (wearing Seth Rollins shirt for some reason) went again Damian Priest next.  Priest won by DQ when KO brought in a chair and hit him with it.  Post match, Damien snapped and clobbered KO with a chair.

(4)          R-Truth Vs Omos – Funny spot in this one where R Truth told Omos he was his daddy and introduced him to Little Jimmy.  You know where this is going , Omos won in a squash.

(5)          Charlotte Flair beat Naomi after Sonya Deville’s music played causing a distraction allowing Charlotte to get the roll up.  After the match , Sonya was beating up on Naomi which caused the return of Ronda Rousey who came in and chased them off and then challenged Sonya to a match, which led to

(6)          Ronda Rousey beat Sonya Deville by submission – Sonia got in some offense, but, when Ronda took over, the match ended pretty quickly

(7)          Shinsuke Nakamura and Rick Boogs defeated Sheamus and Ridge Holland in a so-so tag match after intermission.  Boogs won the match with his finisher

(8)          Bianca Belair defeated Liv Morgan with the KOD.  Strange face vs face match.  Becky Lynch and Doudrop were advertised to be in the match to make it a 4 way for Becky's title, but im not sure what happened

(9)          Drew McIntyre and The New Day (Big E and Kofi) defeated Roman Reigns and The Usos -- There was so much stalling in this match, it dragged it down hard.  Roman was in for maybe 3 minutes.  Match ended when Drew hit one of the Usos with the Claymore.
