John Pollock over at POSTWrestling.com is reporting that Pat McAfee vs. Vince McMahon will be a program for Wrestlemania 38 this April in Texas. Pollock's report states that "most likely" McMahon vs. McAfee will be an official match at the WWE flagship PPV weekend.
McMahon was announced on Smackdown as appearing this Thursday on McAfee's show, which will stream live on YouTube.
If McMahon, 76, actually wrestles, it would be his first Wrestlemania match since facing Bret Hart in 2010 at Mania 26 and his fifth official Wrestlemania match. McMahon wrestled his son Shane at Wrestlemania 17, Hulk Hogan at Wrestlemania 19, and Shawn Michaels at Wrestlemania 22.
McMahon's last official match was a Monday Night Raw bout against CM Punk in 2012, although he has been involved in physical angles since, including once taking a pretty scary headbutt from Kevin Owens.
