WWE NXT UK REPORT: TAG TITLE MATCH, FLOWERS FOR MEIKO, AND MORE

Your announcers are Nigel McGuinness and Andy Shepherd.

Match Number One: Xia Brookside versus Amale

They lock up and Amale with a wrist lock. Xia with a reversal. Amale with a back drop into an arm bar. Xia with a reversal and arm wringer. Amale with a shoulder tackle and Xia tells the referee that Amale cannot do that to her. Amale with an arm drag into an arm bar. Amale gets a near fall. Xia tells Amale she cannot do that to her. Xia with a side head lock.

Xia with a take down and Amale with a head scissors. Xia tries to bridge to get out of the head scissors but Amale adds more pressure. Xia with a head stand and escape but she misses a kick. Amale with a rollup for a near fall. Xia goes for a cross body and Amale catches her and gives Xia a slam. Amale with a rolling splash and drop kick for a near fall.

Xia kicks Amale from the corner and screams. Xia with a forearm to the back and she chokes Amale in the ropes. Xia with a double knee strike to the back followed by boots to the back. Xia with a forearm to the back followed by a snap mare and kick to the back. Xia with a seated abdominal stretch. Xia with an elbow to the side of the head when Amale tries to escape. Xia returns to the seated abdominal stretch.

Amale gets Xia up for a Death Valley Driver. Amale and Xia exchange forearms. Amale with the advantage. Amale with a clothesline or two. Amale with a kick and pump knee to the temple followed by a clothesline. Amale with a back senton for a near fall. Amale gets Xia up but Xia escapes and connects with forearm to the back and a series to the chest. Xia with a scorpion kick. Xia runs into a boot in the corner.

Amale with a drop toe hold that sends Xia into the turnbuckles and Amale with a running boot to the head. Amale with the Hope Breaker for the three count.

Winner: Amale

Ashton Smith and Oliver Carter walk in the back as they prepare for their tag title match later tonight.

We go to a video package for Carter and Smith.

Sid Scala is in his office with the Coffeys, Noam Dar, and Sha Samuels.

Sid says that he has talked to Johnny Saint and Dar and Samuels want the Coffeys suspended. The Coffeys says they got the segment its best ratings.

Sid says in two weeks, Joe Coffey will meet Noam Dar for the Heritage Cup.

Sid has to separate them and he says if Mark and Sha want to settle things, they will do it in the ring.

We go to commercial.

We are back with Dave Mastiff and Jack Starz and Pretty Deadly walks past them. Dave tells Jack he knows what to do.

It is time for lesson four and we see that Pretty Deadly’s clothes have been cut.

They see Jack in the hallway and Dave shows up so Lewis and Sam walk away.

Match Number Two: Rohan Raja (with Teoman and Charlie Dempsey) versus Danny Jones

They lock up and go to a stalemate. Raja pushes Jones away and applies a wrist lock. Jones with a reversal but Raja with a reversal of his own. Jones with a wrist lock take down but Raja holds on to the wrist lock. Jones with a take down and he gets a near fall. Raja backs Jones into the corner. Raja misses a punch and Jones with a side head lock.

Raja with a forearm to the ribs and Jones with a shoulder tackle. Raja with a head butt to the midsection. Jones with a knee to the midsection and he sends Raja into the turnbuckles. Jones sends Raja into the turnbuckles again but Raja with a forearm. Jones with a kick to the chest and Raja rolls to the floor. Jones tries to go to the apron and Raja with a leg sweep and then he sends Jones back first into the apron. They return to the ring.

Raja with a kick to the back. Raja with a forearm to the back. Raja with a hard Irish whip for a near fall. Jones with punches but Raja with forearms to the arm and a leg sweep. Raja with a drop kick to the back of the head for a near fall. Jones and Raja exchange forearms. Jones with a hammer lock and enzuigiri. Jones gets a near fall. Jones with a running knee into the corner followed by a suplex for a near fall. Jones tries to get Raja up but Raja escapes and connects with a forearm and a lungblower. Raja signals that it is over and he hits a leaping flatliner for the three count.

Winner: Rohan Raja

After the match, Raja attacks Jones while Teoman lectures Jones. Dempsey is hesitant to join in the attack, but he finally joins Raja and Teoman with the kicks.

We see Tyler Bate and Trent Seven in the back as they discuss strategy for their title match.

We go to Symbiosis. They said things would be different. They said they would start winning. Eddie Dennis says an arrow can only be shot if it goes backwards. We are about to launch ourselves into the hearts of our enemies. He tells them to continue fighting.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Sha Samuels is in the hallway. He says he is always checking out the odds.

Sha sees Mark and talks about Joe and Dogman. Sha says he can sometimes fly solo and then he walks away.

A-Kid is in the back and we see Die Familie walk past. A-Kid grabs Dempsey and wants to know what that was.

Dempsey says it is all right. He asks A-Kid if he has something to say to him.

A-Kid says he thought Dempsey was better than that and then he walks away.

Andy Shepherd is in the ring and he says NXT UK wants to honor NXT UK Women’s Champion Meiko Satomura.

Andy says that Meiko’s reign has not only elevated the title, but the entire Women’s Division.

We see a video package for Meiko.

Andy presents her with a bouquet of flowers.

Meiko thanks Andy and the NXT UK Universe.

The lights go out and there is a laugh.

Isla Dawn shows up and says she feels stressed by not being given an invite. Isla says she wants to join in the celebration of Meiko Satomura. She wants to thank Meiko for giving her and for giving us something to strive for. Giving her a sense of purpose. Giving something to desire. Isla says it’s that time. She says she is sorry and Isla says she needs her final trophy that Meiko currently posseses.

Meiko tells Isla that she is a strong competitor. If you want a championship match, just ask.

Isla laughs and she says that is where Meiko is mistaken. Isla says she does not ask for things, she takes them.

Isla with a round kick to the temple and then Isla takes Meiko’s flowers and leaves the ring.

We go to Sam Gradwell and he says it is only hair and he isn’t Samson. He says everyone is asking him about his mohawk. His son asked him what happened to his hair. Every time he looks in the mirror, all he sees is Kenny Williams. Sam says he can get over it, but will Kenny get over what he is going to do to Kenny?
We go to commercial.

We are back with a look at Nathan Frazer’s comments from last week when he challenged Ilja Dragunov.

Ilja Dragunov tells Nathan Frazer he heard what Nathan said. He accepts the challenge. You stepped up and courageously asked for your chance. Ilja reminds Nathan he won a battle royal to get a title match. Then he lost. He had a long journey to become the NXT UK Champion. I know how good you are and how good you can get. You are not ready yet. This will be the first step on your journey.

That match will take place next week.

Sha Samuels will face Mark Coffey with Gallus and Noam Dar banned from ringside.

We will also see Pretty Deadly versus Jack Starz and Dave Mastiff.

Match Number Three: Tyler Bate and Trent Seven versus Ashton Smith and Oliver Carter for the NXT UK Tag Team Championship

Bate and Smith start things off and lock up. Smith backs Bate into the corner and tags in Carter but Bate gets into the center of the ring. They lock up and Bate with a waist lock take down. Carter sits out and applies a wrist lock. Bate with a reversal. Carter with a back heel kick to escape. Carter with an arm drag into an arm bar. Carter with a wrist lock. Bate goes for a wrist lock take down but Carter blocks it.

Bate with a reversal and an arm wringer. Bate with a drop kick and Seven tags in. They hit a double shoulder tackle and Bate flips Seven onto Carter for a senton and Trent gets a near fall. Trent with a forearm. Trent with forearms and chops to Carter. Trent gets Carter to flinch but Carter blocks the DDT. Trent with an Irish whip but Carter avoids a chop. Carter with a kick to the chest and an arm drag into an arm bar.

Carter with a forearm to the upper arm and Smith tags in. Smith sets for a leap frog splash to the arm but Trent escapes and chops Smith. Seven with a leg drop for a near fall. Bate tags in and Seven gets Smith on his shoulders. Seven with an accordion slam and Bate with a splash off Seven’s back for a near fall. Bate with a side head lock. Smith tries to power out of the hold but Bate kicks Smith. Smith with European uppercuts and Bate fires back. They continue the exchange and Smith sends Bate to the floor. Smith with a European uppercut to Seven. Bate with European uppercuts to Smith and then one for Carter. Bate with a shoulder tackle. Smith with a clothesline. Bate catches Carter and then uses Carter to send Smith to the floor. Bate with an airplane spin and a slam. Carter with a kick and Bate blocks it. Carter with a round kick. Bate with a kick out of the corner. Carter with a jumping rana and a scissors kick for a near fall.

Carter with a spinning heel kick to knock Seven off the apron. Carter goes for an exploder and Bate with an elbow. Carter goes into the corner and Bate catches him and hits an exploder. Bate with a shooting star press for a near fall. Bate sets for the Tyler Driver 97 but Carter lands on his feet. Bate with a rebound clothesline and both men are down. Seven tags in.

Bate drop kicks Smith off the apron. Carter kicks Bate on a rebound clothesline and Carter with a Silly String tornado DDT. Carter with a quebrada for a near fall. Smith tags back in and they connect with forearms and punches to Seven. Seven kicks Smith and sends Carter to the floor. Smith with a head butt but he misses a clothesline. Seven with a back first and Seven Star Lariat followed by Emerald Frosion but Carter breaks up the cover.

Bate sends Carter back to the floor. Seven with a back fist and he gets a near fall. Bate tags in and he goes up top. Smith with a jumping kick to Seven and Bate leaps over Smith and Smith with a spinning sit out power bomb for a near fall. Carter tags in and he kicks Bate. Carter with a moonsault off Smith for a near fall. Smith tags in and they go for Silly String but Seven grabs Carter. Carter with a uranage on the floor. Bate goes for a German suplex from the apron. Smith with an elbow. Smith with a leg lariat and Carter tags in. Smith gets Bate on his shoudlers and Carter with a springboard Doomsday Cutter for a near fall when Seven breaks up the cover.

Smith tags in and Carter punches Bate. Seven and Carter exchange punches. Carter kicks Bate and Seven with a German suplex to Smith. Carter and Seven go to the floor. Smith with a super kick to Bate and a boot to the head. Bate with a rolling kick and then he blocks a kick from Smith. Bate with bop and bang followed by a kick and enzuigiri. Bate with the three count when Seven knocks Smith’s leg off the rope when the referee could not see it.

Winners: Trent Seven and Tyler Bate (retain championship)
