This week's Impact Wrestling on AXS opened with a look at everything that went down at the No Surrender PPV this past weekend.
We are in New Orleans, LA with Tom Hannifan and Matthew Rehwoldt on the call from The Alario Center.
Impact Wrestling Champion Moose came to the ring. He said everyone is talking about Eddie Edwards but they should be talking about him. If it hadn't been what he did to Eddie, he wouldn't have done what he did with Honor No More. Moose said he has a special power to change people forever when he beats them - Matt Cardona, Eddie Edwards, Josh Alexander. He asked who wanted to be the next one. Heath came out and said he doesn't understand how Moose can make jokes with everything that has happened. Heath said he busted his ass to get to Impact and even got hurt for a year but Impact and the fans stuck by him, so now he'll stand up for them when their leader is doing nothing.
Moose scoffed at the idea Heath was an "Impact guy" now and asked where he was the last month and where was he when Edwards turned on Impact. Heath said that he wasn't there because of COVID protocols but now he's here. He fought Moose on his first night in and he wants a shot at him again. He wants to fight Moose for the title and stand with the others who are fighting for this company. Moose said Heath will end up on a downwards spiral like everyone else. He doesn't care about Impact, ROH, Honor No More or anyone else, including Heath's wife and ugly kids. Heath hit the ring and they brawled. Heath left Moose laying and walked out in disgust.
Backstage, Heath met up with Team Impact and were going to beat up Honor No More. Scott D'Amore said Honor No More have earned their right to be here. He wants to hear what Eddie Edwards has to say and no one is to put their hands on him tonight. Rhino can face Eddie at the Sacrifice PPV. Rhino said Eddie's blood will be on D'Amore's hands.
After a commercial, Honor No More arrived at the building. Scott D'Amore told them they were late on the first day of the job. The locker room has been told hands off until the six man tag. He asked them where Eddie Edwards is. He will be there on his own time. Moose showed up and told them he didn't have an issue with Honor No More, but don't get in his way or come for the title or there will be problems. They walked away. Moose then told Scott D'Amore he wanted to talk to him about what happened with Heath. Scott was angry he was mad Moose had no issue with Honor No More. He said that perhaps Moose is the joke and we'll find out because he'll be wrestling Heath at Sacrifice.
Impact Wrestlng Digital Media Champion Matt Cardona vs. Jordynne Grace - DotCombat Match
This is a hardcore match with computer and technology-centric weapons.
Grace attacked Matt with a DVD Player and covered him for a two count. Cardona went to the floor. Grace followed and drilled him into the apron several times. He kicked her and returned to the ring and attacked her when she followed. Grace blocked a whip and drilled him with a right hand, then a series of strikes. He charged her and was backdropped over the top to the floor. Grace nailed a tope suicida. She tossed him back into the ring and pulled out a trash can. She began removing computer keyboards as they went to commercial.
When Impact returned, Cardona was back in control, stomping away at Grace in the corner. She was pulled to the center of the kick but kicked out. Cardona worked her over and pulled a steel chair into the fray. He drilled her in the mid-section with it and set up the chair in the ring. He tried to suplex her on the chair but she reversed and dropped him across the chair. Grace battered the champion and smashed him across the back with a keyboard.
Grace began beating Cardona with selfie sticks like nightsticks and covered Cardona for a two count after a slam. She sent him into the buckles and nailed a double knee strike. Grace nailed an elbow to the jaw and came off the ropes with a Vader Bomb.
Grace went under the ring and removed a sack, dropping a pile of cell phones into the ring. I think I saw my old Sidekick 2. Cardona cut her off and wrapped a computer mouse around his fist.
He went to nail her in the corner but was caught and powerbombed on the phones. Grace covered him but Cardona drilled her with the mouse to break it up. Cardona drilled Grace with a chair to the ribs, then kicked her down. She went to kick him low but he had a bedazzled cup on and showed it. He went to shove it into her face but she blocked it and lowblowed him again with his knee. She shoved the cup in Cardona's mouth, using it like a Socko. He went down and covered him for a two count. Grace was jettisoned into the chair in the corner and KO'd, was rolled up for the pin.
Your winner, Matt Cardona!
The Influence confronted Kaleb with A K about the recent issues but The IInfluence arrived upon the scene. They got into it. Kaleb was blamed and said he didn't do anything. He was warned not to screw things up next week.
Gia Miller interviewed Jake Something. He was let down that he lost during BTI. Trey Miguel said that they had never teamed up before and it's not like they were fighting for the Tag Team titles, so he shouldn't be so hard on himself. Something wasn't happy with Trey giving him a "pep talk" and said he doesn't need Trey's pity. He's twice Trey's size and needs him to fear him, whether he likes it or not.
Brian Myers had his own commentary booth.
John Skyler vs. Bhupinder Gujjar
They locked up. Skyler nailed some strikes but was hit with a big dropkick and a charging forearm in the corner. Skyler backdropped him over and played to the crowd before ascending to the top rope. Skyler attempted a superplex but was it countered with Skyler sent to the ring below. Gujjar nailed a spear off the ropes and pinned Skyler.
Your winner, Bhupinder Gujjar!
W. Morrisey made his way to the ring to get to Myers but Skyler was in his way and nailed him. Morrisey grabbed Myers to chokeslam him through a tabke but Skyler attacked him. Myers escaped but Skyler was grabbed and hit with the BQE through a table.
Backstage, Steve Maclin said he couldn't give a damn about what Eddie Edwards has to say. He laid out a narrative that Maclin couldn't be trusted but he was the one who turned on his brothers and his company. Next week, Edwards has to deal with Maclin.
ROH & AAA Champion Deonna Purrazzo vs. Lady Frost.
Frost picked the AAA Reina de Reinas Championship.
Some nice back and forth wrestling early. Purrazzo did a cartwheel to escape a dropdown. Frost caught her with a big elbow to the face, scoring a two count. Purrazzo sent her into the corner and began attacking the leg, stomping the back of her knees. Purrazzo continued to beat on the leg, keeping Frost on the mat. She fired away with kicks to the legs, and snapped the knees across the apron. Frost kicked her away on the floor and nailed a moonsault off the apron to the floor.
Frost tried to fight back but was hurting. Deonna nailed a chop block Deonna locked on a Boston Crab but Frost made her way to the ropes. Purrazzo went for a piledriver but it was turned into a pinfall attempt. Purrazzo escaped and locked in the Venus De Milo for the submission.
Your winner and still AAA Reina de Reinas Champion, Deonna Purrazzo!
As Deonna left, Giselle Shaw walked past her on the apron and entered the ring, where Lady Frost was still recovered. She looked down mockingly at Frost and then began grandstanding in the ring, showing herself off.
Backstage, Jay White, flanked by The Good Brothers and Chris Bey, told the Guerrillas of Destiny that nothing was personal, but sometimes in business, you have to shed the dead way. As the real leader, he had to make the executive decision about Bullet Club business. He said The Good Brothers were the best team in Bullet Club history. Gallows said it's not the B.C. without the Good Brothers.
Violence by Design arrived. Their business is done and they want their Tag Team title shot. Young said had they told him what was up with White and Bey, all the fighting could have been avoided but they want their title shot. White said the Good Brothers are under new management and there's no title shot. They argued until The Guerrillas of Destiny arrived trying to attack Jay. They all brawled. Bullet Club escaped. The G.O.D. and VBD stared each other down but Eric Young let them leave unscathed.

Dick went after Jonah who drilled him. Jonah went for a back suplex but Dice landed on his feet and nailed a chop block. Jonah quickly cut him off and nailed a back senton splash. Dice was nailed with a sit-down powerbomb and pinned.
Your winner, Jonah!

Backstage, Gail Kim said he can't attack opponents anymore. He demanded more competition. She offered PCO at Sacrifice. Jonah liked it and walked off. Swinger showed up and said he wanted another match against Jonah next week after learning the finer art of Australian wrestling under Bill Dundee. That line was great. Gail gave it to him and Swinger was happy.
After a commercial, Impact Wrestling Knockouts Champion Mickie James and Chelsea Green met with Gail Kim. Mickie wants to give Green a title shot. Before Gail could decide, Tasha Steelz burst in and wanted to talk to Gail. She was upset about it. They all got into an argument. Gail announced Tasha vs. Chelsea next week with the winner challenging Mickie for the title. Mickie said she would handle Savannah Evans next week but Green said that she needs to handle this herself.

Everyone brawled at the bell for awhile. Team Impact triple-teamed King. Bennett tagged in but ate a series of chops before kicking Sabin down. The OGK tagged in and out but Sabin maintained control. He went Bennett to the floor and kicked him from the apron but had words with PCO, allowing Bennett to take him down. Taven nailed a twisting neckbreaker and tagged out to Kenny King, who controlled Sabin as they went to commercial.
When Impact returned, Team Impact was back in control as Mack and Swann worked over Taven. Mack was swarmed over and nailed with The Proton Pack for the pin.
Your winners, Honor No More.
Maria talks and introduces Eddie Edwards. Edwards made his way to the ring. When they returned from commercial, Scott D'Amore made Team Impact leave before a fight breaks out.
Eddie speaks. He said he understands why Team Impact is upset but they have no reason to blame him. He has known Honor No More for a long time and came up with the ROH guys but that's not why he joined them. He fought and bled with them and felt betrayed by ROH when it went on a "hiatus" because it meant everything they did meant nothing, but that's not why he joined them.
Honor No More's issues and problems isn't about one place, one time or one company. They identified the cancerous growth of Dishonor in professional wrestling and they're going to expose it. Eddie said he stands with them to expose the same corruption within Impact Wrestling. Two years ago, the world changed and Impact was forced to change with it. They opened doors to let wrestlers from other companies to appear and compete in Impact. Eddie was all for it and welcomed it because he had faith that Impact was doing what was best for the company. He even kept the faith when Impact let Kenny Omega challenge for the belt. Rich Swann failed at his job and Impact management failed to see what was in front of their eyes until it was too late.
So, it was up to the locker room to fix what management had broken. Eddie waited to for his shot while Impact Wrestling Sami Callihan and Moose failed. He waited for his shotm and even won a six man tag, beating Kenny Omega and thought he'd get his shot, but instead Impact chose Josh Alexander to restore honor to this company. At that moment, Eddie realized Impact had honor no more. All that faith he had in the company he loved was returned with zero faith in him. He had no choice but to listen and see the truth in what Honor No More was saying.
He was told he was the heart and soul of Impact, but he didn't turn on the company. Management ripped the heart of the company out and the fans cheered it every step of the way. When he's asked why, he gave everything to Impact and got nothing in return.
Alisha Edwards came out and questioned what he was doing. Eddie said they spoke about it privately. She said that since he's making all this public, so will she. She said that he should be asking forgiveness to the locker room, the fans and the company. Eddie said she was there when he wasn't given a chance. She said she was there but he can't say that no one else wanted to get an opportunity. She knows what he wanted to be the one to bring the title back, but Josh Alexander did that job. Eddie needs to stop bitching and celebrate with his real family, Impact.
Eddie told her to take a good look. Honor No More is his family now. She asks if she is still his family. Eddie said he doesn't know. That's up to her. He's turning his back only on those who turned their backs on him and did just that, exiting with the group, abandoning Alisha alone in the ring.
