By Mike Johnson on 2022-01-31 12:00:00

InDemand, who have been the preeminent distributor of professional wrestling on traditional cable and satellite Pay-Per-View platforms, recently announced they were moving into the streaming space with the launch of PPV.com.

An official App will be launching soon, offering live sports and entetainment events, including professional wrestling PPVs.  Events will be available both live and archived via VOD.

The plan is to make PPV.com available via cable boxes towards the second half of the year.

“We saw an opportunity to be a one-stop shop and consolidate pay-per-view distribution all under one roof for the industry,” said iNDemand’s Senior VP/Programming & Marketing Mark Boccardi in a media statement. “What we're saying now is, ‘Hey, PBC, or Top Rank, or whatever programmer you are, you do one deal with us and we can really cover all distribution platforms.’”

Promotional material for the platform also notes that PPV.com users will have the ability for live chats, merchandise purchases, fan videos and polls as part of the experience.

There will be a number of professional wrestling entities partnering with the new platform, PWInsider.com is told.
