WWE is reviving Saturday Night's Main Event on Saturday 4/23. The event will take place in Montgomery, Alabama at the 12,500-seat Garrett Coliseum. Tickets will go on sale on 2/25.
UPDATE 1:30 PM EST - While it initially appeared this may be a PPV event, now an event in Lakeland, Florida on 4/30 has also been branded with the Saturday Night's Main Event name as well. We are told that each of those events are still live events, not TV productions, and that this is simply rebranding for the Saturday Night live events taking place post-Wrestlemania.
Saturday Night's Main Event ran for 36 episodes as a late night special on NBC, debuting in May 1985. A pair of specials using the name aired on FOX in the early 1999s. SNME returned to NBC in 2006 as part of WWE's deal with NBC Universal, last airing in 2009.
