In what has been a big eventful day for KAIRI in her return to STARDOM, the company released an exclusive segment on YouTube that took place after today’s press conference.
It shows Wonder of STARDOM Champion Saya Kamitani approaching a mystery woman sitting at a table who was dressed in an outfit like KAIRI’s in all of the segments leading up to her return today. Kamitani is then sternly tapped on the back from behind by KAIRI herself. Kamitani was confused because she thought it was her at the table.
KAIRI explains it wasn’t her and she smacks Kamitani’s head to knock sense into her. She then touches the Wonder of STARDOM Title that Kamitani is carrying over the shoulder as a tease for a future title match between the two.
The segment ends with Kamitani turning her attention back to the women sitting at the table to get a close up look at her.
At the press conference earlier today, KAIRI was confronted by Unagi Sayaka and Tam Nakano, and then she ended up getting jumped from behind by Starlight Kid, Natsuko Tora, and Momo Watanabe a little later on.
KAIRI will be in action on the March 26 and March 27 STARDOM shows with the cards to be announced in the coming days. But it looks like she and Mayu Iwatani will face Nakano and Sayaka on one night, and some sort of match against Oedo Tai on the other night based on how everything was set up today.
