The first "new" content on New Japan Pro Wrestling on AXS TV will air on Thursday 3/3 and will feature the following matches from the 2/13 Golden Series event in Osaka, Japan:
*NEVER Openweight Champion EVIL vs. Tomohiro Ishii.
*Kazuchika Okada and Hiroshi Tanahashi vs.Tetsuya Naito and SANADA.
This will be the first time these matches have aired on American television. The episode will premiere at 10 PM EST with a 1 AM EST replay.
The 2/24 NJPW on AXS TV episode next week will be the final "archival" episode, featuring the G1 Climax 29 Final of Kota Ibushi vs. Jay White.
AXS TV announced in January that New Japan would return to the cable network after a three year absence.
