t's Wednesday Night! And that means the AEW World Championship is on the line!!! Jim Ross, Tony Schiavone and Excalibur are on the call tonight.
Here comes Wardlow with cardboard posters in tow. The cardboard features cut outa of MJF's victory last week over CM Punk. FTR and Tully Blanchard come out, followed by the greatest Accountability Buddy ever, Shawn Spears. Justin Roberts reads a prepares statement introducing MJF. MJF comes out, carried like King Haku at WrestleMania V (same building). MJF is very proud of having beaten CM Punk TWICE in Chicago. He credits Shawn Spears, not Wardlow, with the W. MJF declares it's time to become AEW World Champion. This brings out CM Punk. He brings out some friends; Darby Allin and Sting. Punk wants Wardlow. They want a 6 man rematch from a few weeks ago. MJF agrees to a rematch one on one, IF CM Punk finds 2 other partners to beat FTR.
Backstage, Andrade El Idolo meets up with Sting and Darby Allin. Andrade makes his pitch to hire Allin. Allin has different goals, like the TNT Championship.
The Blade vs. Wardlow w/Shawn Spears
Chop block by Blade. Bad idea. Back elbow by Wardlow. BIG lariat by Wardlow. Belly to belly by Wardlow. Another belly to belly. A third. Spaears rolls out and Wardlow attacks as we go to commercial.
We're back live and Wardlow eats a chop but doesn't regisrer at all. Blade with a knee but Warlow with a powerbomb. Wardlow hits 3 more and scores the pin

It's time for the Inner Circle Meeting. Sammy Guevara and Jake Hager accompany Le Champion, sans Ortiz and Santana. They aren't too far behind. Proud and Powerful go face to face with Jericho. They (Ortiz and Santana) feel that Jericho only cares about himself. They accuse Jericho of stealing their spotlight. Their days of playing 2nd fiddle are done. Santana is killing it here. Jericho blames Eddie Kingston for all the trouble in the Inner Circle, yet they still want to blame their shortcomings on him. Jericho invokes the other members of LAX. Santana goes to choke Jericho but Guevara intervenes. Jericho tells the TNT champion to shut up! Guevara calmly explains that all the Inner Circle turmoil isn't worth it. He walks off telling them to figure it out among themselves. Ortiz and Santana challenge Jericho and Hager to a match next week. Jericho never wanted it to come to this, but he accepts.
Tony Schiavone is with Roppongi Vice. The young Bucks interrupt and we have a brawl. The Bucks hit the BTE Trigger. Jay White arrives on the scene and trows Trent into the truck.
Face of the Revolution Qualifying Match: Keith Lee vs Isaiah Kassidy w/Marq Quen and Matt Hardy
Lee sends Kassidy across the ring with a huge toss. Cross body by Lee, Kassidy rolls out but Lee follows. Lee with a springboard cross body in the ring. Kassidy tries a clothesline but Lee with a shoulderblock. Matt Hardy walks out in disgust. Kassidy misses a stunner but hits a tope con hillo on the outside. Kassidy with strikes but Lee swats him down. Pop up Death Valley Driver/Splash and Lee scores the pin.

Private Party with a double dropkick. Lee goes to the outside and catches each member of Private Party on the floor and sends them to the apron with powerbombs.
Backstage we have Dr. Britt Baker DMD, telling Mercedes Martinez not to screw up next week when she meets Thunder Rosa in a no DQ match.
FTR w/Tully Blanchard vs. CM Punk & ???
I had it wrong. I thought Punk had to pick 2 other guys to Face FTR. The partner is Jon Moxley. Punk kicks us off against Dax Harwood, Lockup, headlock takeover by Hardwood. Dax with a hip toss into headscissors, Punk escapes. Standingf switch by Punk, Wheeler tags in and applies a wristlock into a headlock. Punk with 2 armdrags. Wheeler breaks the grip and heads to his corner, tagging Dax. Moxley tags in. Headlock takeover by Dax. Shoulderblock by Dax but a shoulder tackle into an elbow by Moxley. Punk tags in and he kicks Dax. Wheeler distracts him and FTR gets a double team effort. FTR works over the leg of Punk. Punk escapes and gets the tag off. Moxley with a series of German Suplexes into a double DDT on FTR. Punk helps clear the ting of FTR. Moxley and Punk with a pair of tope suicidas as we go to commercial.
We're back and Moxley has been worked over through a table on the outside. Moxley barely beats the count. Dax with an uppercut and they hit a double slingshot across the bottom rope on Moxley. Dax with a series of elbows into a rear chinlock to Moxley. Moxley punches out of it. FTR with a blind tag but Moxley was ready with a suplex. Punk gets pulled off the apron and FTR nails a guillotine legdrop off the top for 2. Dax misses an elbow off the top. Cash tags in and eats a lariat. Punk tags in and goes to work on Dax with punches a leg lariat. Short clothesline for 2. Moxley thwarts the Powerplex and Moxley and Punk hit the doomsday device for 2.
On the outside, Wheeler with a DDT on Moxley for 2. Cash nails Punk with the ringbell and Dax scores a 2. Dax with an uppercut. He tries a backslide but FTR hits the Big Rig. Moxley breaks up the pin. All 4 slug it out. This action is way too fast to call. Punk applies the Anaconda Vice. Tully breaks it up and eats a GTS. Mox hits the Paradigm Shift and Punk hits the GTS simultaneously for the pin.

TBS Championship: Jade Cargill w/Mark Sterling vs. A.Q.A
Lockup, hammerlock takedown by Cargill. Lockup, arm twist by Cargill Deep armdrag by AQA. Cargill deadlifts her into a slam. AQA with a dropkicks sends Jade to the floor. AQA misses a sliding dropkick as we go to commercial.
We're back and it's AQA with a forearm. A cross body does nothing but a sling blade sends the champ down. DDT by the challenger, she nails a shooting star for 2. She tries another but loses balance. Cargill with forearms in the corner. Cargill with Tour of the Islands into Jaded for the pin.

AEW World Title: Texas Death Match: Adam Page vs. Lance Archer
The brawl starts in the aisle. Page sends Archer through a pane of glass on the stage. Archer is bleeding. They get to the ring and Page nails a buckshot lariat. Archer is down and the ref counts. Only way to win is by either submission or ten count. Arches nails the champion with a trash can lid. Dan Lambert is taking the top rope apart. The fight goes into the crowd. Page with a kick and a standing moonsault off one of the barricades. Page sends him back into the ring and realizes he can't hit another buckshot. Clothesline by Archer as we go to commercial.
We're back and Page is bleeding as well. Archer blocks a deadeye and nails a clothesline. That cut on Page is deep. Jake Roberts hits a short clothesline but Archer stops him from htting a DDT. Page with a DDT of his own. Page with kendo stick strikes. Archer with a chokeslam on a trash can. Archer stabs Page with a fork repeatedly. Archer with a running cannonball to the floor. Archer pullsa barb wire chair from behind the ring. Archer hits the blackout on the ring steps. Page grabs barb wire and strikes Archer with it. Page with a sommersauly lariat sends Archer to the floor and through a pair of tables.Archer can't answer the 10 count.
WINNER AND STILL AEW CHAMPION ADAM PAGE
Adam Cole comes down and grabs the belt. He presents it to the champion and walks off.
