Do you think WWE would ever create their own Saudi Arabian Championship?
Morally, it probably would not be the best look, but given the amount of money they are paid by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia per event, I am shocked they don't already have one. I could see them doing it as a way to build Mansoor, even if it was a title that was only used and defended a few times a year while they run events there.
Why do you put over WWE in Madison Square Garden so hard?
I live in NYC and historically, it's the home of the first Wrestlemania and the most WWWF/WWF/WWE title changes ever, so I tend to treat it with a lot more importance than the average arena they run. WWE themselves calls the venue the "home" of the company. Not The Staples Center, not the American Airlines Arena, not the Allstate Arena, not the Westchester County Center. They say MSG is home. So, again, I'm a NYC guy and I grew up in a time where WWF going to the Garden WAS Wrestlemania that month for the biggest market in the world, so I tend to treat MSG with a bit more importance and always will. You can feel how you feel about it, it won't change how I approach covering WWE (or others) at MSG.
Has there been any talk of WWE running Australia?
Yes and no. They would love to run there again. The big issue is exactly what you think it is, COVID. Australia is a very strict country in terms of how it is regulating the virus in terms of quarantine for visitors, etc., so it's not easy for WWE to just come in, run and leave.
I saw The Rock said on CNN in an interview they were done with Young Rock but then I see others tweeting about working on the show in Australia. Are they shooting season three?
I don't know what Rock may have said. The second season, which premieres in March on NBC, is still being shot. There is no word on whether it has been picked up for a third season, but we are told they it will be "obvious" they are closing the second season with all expectations they will be back.
Is CM Punk coming back for Heels season two and if so, what does that mean for AEW?
I would expect he returns for the second season as Rickie Rabies. I am sure AEW will work around his schedule and if he misses a few weeks do shoot episodes, they'll have a reason to explain - perhaps they'll literally just say he's filming a TV project!
