By Mike Johnson on 2022-02-07 09:30:00

The Mahoning Drive-In in Lehighton, PA, which for the last several years has put together the excellent Reel Rumble pro wrestling film weekends, has announced they will be screening the 1987 classic Predator featuring WWE Hall of Famer Jesse Ventura in his first major film role alongside WWE Celebrity Hall of Famer Arnold Schwarzenegger on 5/3.  For more, click here.    Ventura won't be in attendance but he will be making a rare signing appearance on 5/7 for Tommy Fierro's 80sWrestling Convention in New Jersey.

While he is signed to AEW, Tony Nese is still available for wrestling bookings, seminars and signings.  For more details, email Booknese@Gmail.com.

WWE Hall of Famers The Rock N' Roll Express will be making a rare New York City area appearance on 2/25, facing former WWE NXT Tag Team Champions The Ascension for Outlaw Wrestling on 2/25 in Bay Shore, NY at the Great South Bay Brewery.  For tickets, click here.  The promotion will also present the first-ever Homicide vs. Killer Kross match on 3/8 in Ridgewood, Queens.

Impact Wrestling's Savannah Evans will be debuting for Maine's Limitless Wrestling on 2/26 in Yarmouth, Maine.  Scotty 2 Hotty, originally from Pine Tree State, will also be appearing on that event.

Tony Devito and Angel of the Baldies will be reuniting in February for several signings and appearances, including Warriors of Wrestling in Staten Island, NY the weekend of 2/13.  HC Loc, who teamed with Devito as The Carnage Crew, will also be appearing.

New Jersey's Titan Championship Wrestling will present "A Monsta Among Men", celebrating the 25th anniversary of Stephen Carrasquillo aka Steve Monsta Mack, who was one of the pillars of Jersey All Pro Wrestling and New York's ICW as well as one of the founding roster members of Ring of Honor as one half of Da Hit Squad with Dan Maff.  The show will be held 2/19 in Toms River, NJ at the Adrenaline Sports Academy, so expect a lot of faces from Mack's career to pop up.   Azrieal and Lowlife Louie Ramos are among those advertised for the show.  Mack's always been a great, underrated talent who's been a locker room leader and his feud with Low Ki in 1998 really was one of the great independent rivalries of that era that deserves a lot of credit for setting the stage for the early 2000s indy scene.  It's really awesome to see him being celebrated.  For more on the show, click here.

Jonathan Gresham vs. AEW's Santana will headline the second TERMINUS event in Atlanta, GA on 2/24.   Serena Deeb, Davey Richards, Daniel Garcia, Tre Lamar, Kenny Alfonso, Leon Ruff, Kevin Blackwood and more are set for the show. The show will stream live on FITE.TV.

NYWC return to Deer Park, Long Island for their 2022 Psycho Circus event on 2/26.  This is traditionally the promotion's biggest event of the year and will feature the postponed 2020 and 2021 NYWC Hall of Fame inductions of the HWA promotion, The SAT and Tony Nese.  For more, visit www.NYWCWrestling.com.

Scotty 2 Hotty will not be able to make Dave Herro's Great Lakes Championship Wrestling event on  2/26 in Cedarburg, Wisconsin at Circle B, so the former Bran Strowman, Adam Scherr, has been announced as his replacement.  The promotion also has a seminar with AEW star Shawn Dean on 3/19.  For details on all things GLCW, visit www.BlizzardBrawl.com.

Former WWE star Killer Kross will face Homicide for the first time for Outlaw Championship Wrestling in Ridgewood, Queens on 3/3.

Ricky and Kerry Morton, The Barbarian, Baby Doll, John Skyler, Jonny Fairplay and Jimmy Valiant have all been announced for Revolution Wrestling Authority's event on Sunday 3/13 in High Point, NC at the Southside Recreation Center.

Super Crazy vs. Ultimo Dragon and Laredo Kid vs. Dragon Lee will headline Masked Republic's Expo Lucha debut at Philadelphia, PA's 2300 Arena the weekend of 6/11/22-6/12/22.    Other talents announced for the event thus far are Octagon, Ultimo Dragon, Keyra, Tinieblas, Alusha. Bestia 666. MechaWolf 450, Psicosis, Super Astro Jr., Damian 666, Gringo Loco, Mr,. Iguana, Pirata Morgan, Arez, Lady Maravilla, Aeroboy, Black Taurus, Solar, Keyra, Solar Jr. and more.  The weekend will include autograph and photo sessions as well as Q&A panels.  The convention has been postponed several times due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic but is planned as the largest ever lucha gathering in the Northeastern United States after similar events in California and Nevada.  The event has been virtual since March 2020.  For ticket information, visit www.ExpoLucha.com.  Masked Republic recently released their excellent Eat Like A Luchador cookbook.
