RCW owner Brandon Oliver came out to address the crowd and thank them for supporting the company for twenty years. He said several stars we now see on national television have stepped through RCW before they made it to the big time. He mentioned Sammy Guevara and Keith Lee as a couple examples. He said we will see stars of the future currently in RCW eventually going to AEW and WWE in the next few years.
March 6 is the next event. They will also have an event on April 2 in Arlington at 12pm local time.
Videos of congratulations aired from local area media personalities. One was from a news anchor who went to college with Oliver. He said Oliver’s family and friends (including him) helped set up the rings for those first shows a couple decades ago and it sucked having to do it.
Joe Galli and Javi Perez are the broadcast team. Carolina Teague is the ring announcer.
The Pillars of Destiny (Hunter and Titan) beat JP Harlow and Vic Endurance when they both pinned Endurance after a double team finisher.
Ki Vibez pinned Ms. Michel after the Vibe Killer. This was a strong match that was nonstop back and forth fast paced action.Very good showing from both women.
Drew Dredd came out for an Open Challenge. Luigi Primo was supposed to be the original opponent but he had travel issues. Jet Black answered the challenge.
Drew Dredd pinned Jet Black after the Dredd Driver. Dredd shoved the referee into the ropes and the momentum caused Black to crotch himself on the top rope for the finish.
RCW Tag Team Champions The DFW Kartel (Lou Gotti and Angel Camacho) best El Constructor and El Constructor Jr. when Camacho pinned El Constructor after a splash off the ropes. DFW Kartel manager Nastico prevented Jr. from making the save on the outside.
Luis “The Spartan”Ramirez pinned “King” Rob Love after a super kick. The match was restarted after it looked like Ramirez originally won with a crossbody. The bell rang but the referee only counted to two. Love challenged him to a rematch for March 6. Ramirez agreed. It will be a Kiss My Foot Match
Impact Wrestling World Champion Moose pinned Kaun after the No Jackhammer Needed in a typical Moose indie match as he blocked the referee to give Kaun a low blow kick followed by the spear for the win. After the match, Moose said he did everything that he had to do to hold onto the title and told the crowd anybody else would have done the same thing. He said he didn’t like Kaun but he respects him and then shook his hand.
RCW Phoenix Champion Christi Jaynes pinned Alejandra Lion after the Ushigoroshi when Lion accidentally hit her own manger Nastico with the title belt when he tried to interfere on the ring. A wild and heated situation broke out after the match. Jaynes told Lion she has beauty and talent and tried to convince her to dump Nastico. Lion wasn’t having it and attacked her while Nastico blocked the referee in the corner so not to pull Lion off Jaynes. Hunter and Titan ran in to make the save but then they got jumped from behind by The DFW Kartel while Jaynes and Lions spilled out to the floor brawling. More referees came out to try to break everyone up but Lou Gotti powerbombed one of them. The San Antonio Police finally came out to the ring and they arrested Nastico, Lion, Gotti, and Camacho.
Westin Blake pinned Cameron Cole after The Fortunate Son inverted DDT finisher in a hard hitting back and forth match.
Anthony Andrews and Casey Blackrose beat David Kidd and Mysterious Q when Andrews pinned Kidd with a powerslam as Logan Pettis (Andrews and Blackrose manager) grabbed Kidd’s leg on the ropes and then distracted the referee. Brandon Oliver came out and said on Match 6 it will be International Champion Andrews defending against Kidd with Blackrose and Pettis banned from ringside. If Kidd loses he’s gone from RCW because he hasn’t won a match in RCW yet. Oliver also announced Mysterious Q will face Matt Cardona on that show.
Katie Forbes came out as the special belt presenter for the RCW Women’s Title Match. Forbes said she will be at the April 2 show and she will be bringing RVD with her. She went over to join the announcers for guest commentary.
Madi Wrenkowski pinned RCW Women’s Champion Keira Hogan to win the title by rolling through Hogan’s flying crossbody into a cover.
A masked woman attacked Katie Forbes at ringside just after she put the belt on Wrenkowski. The person unmasked and it was Ki Vibez. Wrenkowski walked to the back with her theme music playing during the attack and she didn’t see what happened.
Chris Marval and Don Juan beat Richie Garcia and Branden Vice when Marval pinned Garcia after a double team finisher. Devon Carter repeatedly interfered for Garcia and Vice until David Kidd ran out and chased him off. Kidd came back out with Carter after the match and threw Carter in the ring for Marval and Juan to rough him up.
Chis Sifuentes from The Billy Madison Show on 99.5 KISS is the special belt presenter for the main event. He is a former pro wrestler who has competed in RCW.
RCW Champion Gino Medina beat Sledge by referee stoppage. The original referee was accidentally bumped by Medina after trying to take a chair away from him in the ring. A second referee was then bumped by Sledge after trying to take the title belt away from him when he tried to use it as a weapon. Medina then got a hold of the chair and hit Sledge in the leg and over the head with it. He put Sledge in a half crab. The original referee recovered and crawled back into the ring to call for the bell after seeing Sledge passed out.
This was a near 5 hour show with 12 matches.
