Charlie Evans tweeted out yesterday that she’s injured with a tear in her left trap but it should heal in 4-6 weeks. She has pulled out of her February bookings. She and Millie McKenzie, in a much anticipated reunion, were supposed to defend the EVE Tag Team Titles against Rhia O’ Reilly and Skye Smitson tonight. McKenzie will still defend them with a new partner. The match is not allowed to be broadcast because WWE is back to playing hardball with indie groups so NXT UK’s McKenzie can not appear on the live stream.
Nina Samuels pinned Chantal Jordan in a dark match before the live broadcast after a GTS. The match did not air live due to Samuels being under NXT UK contract.
Kasey has been out injured so the EVE International Title is vacant. Laura Di Matteo will take on Alex Windsor to decide the new champion in the main event tonight.
Mercedez Blaze pinned Kamille Hansen after a Tower of London. This was Hanson’s first pro singles match.
Debbie Keitel pinned THE Ava with a pedigree.
Alexxis Falcon pinned B3CCA after her twisted DDT finisher. B3CCA is from America’s Beyond Wrestling, WWR+, and Limitless Wrestling.
Jetta pinned EVE Champion Emersyn Jayne with a reversal to win the title for a second time. They shook hands after the match. Jayne defeated Jetta for the championship on 12/4/21.
Intermission
In the EVE Tag Team Titles Match that wasn’t allowed to air live, Millie McKenzie picked Chantal Jordan as her new partner to replace Charli Evans. Rhia O’Reilly and Skye Smitson defeated Mille McKenzie and Chantal Jordan to win the titles when Smitson pinned McKenzie.
The broadcast returned live as the new EVE Tag Team Champions were celebrating in the ring. NWA Worlds Women’s Tag Team Champions Allysin Kay and Marti Belle then appeared on the big screen and challenged them to a winners take all titles match.
Hyan pinned Lana Austin after the Beauty Sleep. Ivy tried to attack Austin after the match but Austin was able to fight her off.
Ivy beat Rita Slayworth by Boston Crab submission.
Laura Di Matteo pinned Alex Windsor after a Tombstone to win the vacant EVE International Title. EVE executive producer Dann Read got on the mic and praised Di Matteo afterwards. He said she first appeared for EVE in 2016 and she moved her entire from Italy to the UK to focus on training in pro wrestling. He said she’s been the most underutilized wrestler in the UK and maybe all of Europe.
The next EVE shows are 3/4/22 and 3/5/22.
