The weather outside is frightful. Kimber Lee is out due to a stomach bug. Alex Shelley was in a car accident today. Rich doesn’t to know if the first match of ever read—YOU PULLED THE TRIGGER OF LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE!!!!

Love Doug is here! He’s looking for a Valentine! He asks a large tie-dyed man at ringside. He asks a lady and another man. Doug has to choose. He asks if anyone has a touch of romance for him…his call is answered by The Romantic Touch, who is definitely NOT the alter ego of Rhett Titus, has had his eye on Sir Douglas. Doug’s been looking for love in all the wrong places. 

Smart Mark Sterling interrupts this exceedingly sensual in ring love fest and brings VSK with him to make this a tag team match. 

Match 1: “The Real Life Cupid” Love Doug & The Romantic Touch vs Whatever It Takes (Mark Sterling & VSK)

It’s worth noting that Sterling is wrestling tonight with a “broken freaking neck”. He wants nothing to do with the sensual offense of TRT. VSK gets his arm…umm…massaged and then is subjected to smooches. Sterling back in, gets an eye full of flower petals, Doug pulls off the neck brace, sling blade hit for two. VSK interferes and Doug is taking the beatdown. Doug with a back slide but VSK hits a lariat. Doug tries to escape but eats a neckbreaker. TRT I’m and hits a sensual monkey flip. Sterling breaks it up which lets VSK hit a brain buster for two. VSK gets brass knuckles, TRY dodges and hits a reverse pedigree…it’s very in character. Sterling tries to interfere but Doug gives a smooch. In the chaos, VSK blasts TRT with the knucks and gets the pin. BOOOOOOOOOOOOO! 

Winners: Whatever it Takes

Doug gives The Romantic Touch CPR to bring him back to life and they leave together. Love may have lost but it was still magic. Oh my godddddd. Ref Kevin Quinn is baaaaack! And our next match is an open challenge! Matt Makowski is gonna fight SOMEONE tonight….and Anthony Greene is here to answer the call!!!

Match 2: “Weapon X” Matt Makowski (w/ Travis Huckabee) vs “The Alternative” Anthony Greene

A VERY frustrated Makowski ambushes AG at the intro but wipes out on a running leg lariat. AG gets the leg kicked out but stuns Matt with fists and kicks! Matt to the apron, slingshots back into a rear naked choke! AG rolls it back into a pin and tosses Makowski in the ropes. Matt traps the wrist and caves in the chest with a vicious kick! Matt snaps the arm back and starts working over the Alternative. Heavy chest kicks! AG fires up but Makowski dodges and hits a flying kick to the spine. Knees to the gut, butterfly suplex and a kick out. Greene firing up, his time is now, crossbody off the top, two count! Greene wants an Unprettier but Makowski rolls through, escape to a superkick. AG dodges the return but Makowski spins it into an arm bar. AG rolls it up for the razor thin two. Makowski comes running, AG hits the tombstone! Kick out! Fight to the top, Makowski head butted down, AG misses a 450, Makowski with a hook kick and slams AG back into the cross armbar for an immediate tap out. Boooooooo, says the crowd to Matt Makowski (who IS RIGHT to be frustrated). The crowd gives their unbridled love to Green before he loves…and also to Sexy Rich Palladino.

Match 3: Shook Crew (Bobby Orlando & Bryce Donovan w/ Bobby Jr) vs Rex Lawless & ???

Shook Crew says Lawless has NO FRIENDS. He sure does…one with big hair! WILLOW NIGHTINGALE!!! 

Bobby comes right in for a Bobby slam. Rex says no. Rex throws him across the ring. Bobby fighting back and thinks he got the big man down but he just wipes out  both members of Shook Crew! Willow in with a spine buster for two! Bryce has a moment of clarity but Willow twists him up in pain. Big suplex to Bobby. Donovan runs interference and kicks Willow off the top rope. Tree of woe and Shook Crew is chopping her down. Sick tricks and a Bobby slam for two on Nightingale! Trading pins back and forth until Bryce kicks her head off. Rex with the hot tag and crushes everyone. Tilt a whirl facebuster should end it but Bobby’s not legal. Popup KO punch to Bryce. Double suplex to Rex. Willow in and it’s a team fight into a double spear! Double chokebomb! Double pin! Double kick out! Shook Crew isolates Willow but she kills Bobby with a pounce. Donovan with a springboard head chop. Rex to the outside, Bobby caught on a dive bombed into the support beam. Willow with a moonsault and Bobby takes the three before Bryce can crawl to the save. This was hot to death!

Match 4: “Mr IWTV” Marcus Mathers vs “The Prize” Alec Price (no time limit)

Alec Price pinned Mathers with one second on the clock less than 24 hours ago. Tonight he gets a shot at redemption!    Last night was fantastic so this rematch is a great surprise! Price is hating the GAHHHBIDGE chants. They start right where they left off, fast and aggressive, quick pin attempts, double dropkick to a stalemate! Price liked the exchange and offers a handshake, knee to the gut! Mathers with a crossbody for two! Price powders, Mathers dives out to the floor! Price sweeps the legs off the apron. Mathers gets the fingers and breaks them. Price firing back, but Mathers has reversals and a big German for two. Price rolls through a monkey flip into a disaster kick for two! Mathers catches the Su Prize kick, he stomps Price apart and sinks the crab in deeeeeeeep. He drags Price to the center and the crowd is willing him to tap. Pins back and forth. Springboard blockbusta for two! Price wants to break Mathers’ “Twitter fingers”. Mathers has an ace crusher for him! Sitout powerbomb for two! Crowd is split for these two! Mathers tries the bomb again, Price gets the eyes, gotch piledriver, air raid style neckbreaker, two count! Price is furious! Charging high knee! Mathers hitting head butts but Price reverses into a superplex! Mathers with a Blu-ray!!!! Decking each other wildly, double forearm drops them both! Mathers with a flip facebuster! Kickout! Flatliner! Kick out! Price won’t die! Mathers locks up the arms, Price escapes, flying kick, flip ddt, Mathers kicks out!!!! This is great! Price measures up and hits the Suprize kick for the pin. This rematch was AWESOME!

The crowd chants for Mathers to “Please Come Back”! Matt Makowski hits the ring to ambush him and take his IWTV 100 briefcase…did Mathers just lose his IWTV title shot to Weapon X??? 

Match 5: The Righteous (Vincent, Dutch & Bateman w/ Vita Vonstarr) vs Teddy Goodz (w/ Little Mean Kathleen) and Waves & Curls (Traevon Jordan & Jaelyn Brandyn) 

This is a clash of energies. Goodz comes in hot but Bateman crumbles him with a headbutt. Vincent in and drags Teddy into dangertown. Goodz reverses and gives Vincent a taste of trios action. Waves & Curls beats on Vincent while LMK chatters like a rabid dog from ringside. Bradyn distracted by Vita but LMK runs interference. Vita tosses LMK to the post as Dutch takes out Jaelyn from behind. The Righteous giving Brandyn that work. Vincent with a flatliner for two. Bateman absorbs Jaelyn’s fire and clubs him down. Headbutts to the back of the head, eeeeesh. Dutch is in with a legdrop and his opponents are in trouble. Huuuge chop from Dutch. Roaring elbow suplex for two! Bateman drags Jaelyn to the corner by his jaw. Jaelyn hits an enziguri and tags Jordan! Dutch tries to cut him off but gets sent out. Jordan has a shirt wrapped around legs but hits a running bulldog knee strike combo! Vita to interfere, LMK dives out and knocks down everyone. Goodz with a crossbody and cutter to Bateman. Kick out! Dutch in, Goodz getting beat down, facebuster, powerbomb, swanton bomb and Vincent almost gets the three! W&C double dropkick Dutch to the corner. They try a hart attack but Jaelyn flies into a Dutch boss man slam. Goodz fighting them off, Bateman KO’s Dutch! Goodz tries the backpack stunner, Vincent with a bulldog reversal and Goodz takes the L! Wild match here.

Match 6: Matt Cardona (w/ Mark Sterling & VSK) vs Rickey Shane Page

Cardona is sporting his newly won Impact Wrestling Digital Media Championship….and he’s putting on the line tonight against RSP. He’s the ace of beyond? He’s the JOHNNY ACE and RSP is about to get future endeavored. He’s so confident this will be an easy night that he sends his goons to the back to pack their bags. Cardona comes right into a one hand choke bomb. Cardona misses a dropkick and RSP starches him with a running punch. Double fist drop and Cardona tries to take off. RSP gives chase but eats concrete. He barely makes the count back in and Cardona swarms. RSP gets whipped to the buckles and he preens to a crowd that gets off on booing him. Cardona chokes RSP with his shirt. Neckbreaker for two! Cardona grabs a pizza cutter…but opts to use a headlock instead. Trash human. RSP fighting back, laying out Cardona with punches, backdrop to a headkick! Twist of Fate! Swanton!!! Two count! Rope walk frog splash! Kick out! RSP misses a senton…Cardona with a Broski boot! And another. Kick out! RSP hits a GTF. The ref counts three but Cardona’s foot is on the rope! Cardona hits a rough Ryder! False finish on the bell! It’s not over! RSP goes for a chokebreaker, Cardona rolls him up, holds the tights and defends his title. 

Winner: Matt Cardona

He grabs the mic to tell Scott D’Amore “I DID IT!”. He tries to give credit to RSP…they talked a lot of trash but he took it to him. This is about respect and RSP is one of the best he’s ever been in the ring with. They hug. Cardona holds his arm up, RSP knows what’s coming. He dodged Cardona and hits the chokebreaker. Sterling and VSK hit the ring to interfere. They hold RSP and Cardona blasts him with the belt. 

And now we have a promo from Sidney Bakabella, hyping up Channing Thomas’ upcoming debut match against Teddy Goodz, this Thursday at Wrestling Open. 

Match 7: Bear Country (Bear Bronson & Bear Boulder) vs Above the Rest (Gabriel Skye & Tristan Thai) vs Miracle Generation (Kylon King & Dustin Waller) vs The Air Show (Razorwing & Mach10) 

A classic Beyond 4-way tag kicks off the second half! Razor & Waller go fast to start and Mach10 gets in to hit some tandem flip sentons on him. Skye tags in, Waller flipped down but he reverses the follow up with a head scissor. Skye chopped down, Kylon in, Skye is out but Bear Bronson in to clean house! The bears going wild and Kylon King gets to eat a lot of heavy offense. Thai and Skye tag in and Skye flipped into a splash on King for two. Above the Rest kick the living Shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii— out of King’s chest. Awesome energy spot. Kylon tags to Mach 10 and the Air Show is back on! Springboard corkscrew to AtR. Bronson tries to cut it off but the Air Show is ready. Moonsault to Skye over the knees. Air Show double dive to the bears! King tries to follow but Skye rams him into the post, Siiiiick spot. Skye uses Waller for leverage and moonsaults out. Boulder press slams Waller to the outside! The crowd chants “Air Bear!“ and Boulder topes to the outside! Skye staggers back in, Boulder has him up. He catches Waller and Mach 10, TRIPLE SLAM!!!!!  Good god I have MISSED Bear Country in Beyond. Elevator Drop setup on Skye but Thai and Razor cut it off! Wild exchange, King cracks Bronson in the jaw and Germans him down! Stereo 450 from the Air Show and Bears kick out! AtR rips Razor apart. Monkey flip flying knee to Mach 10! Miracle Generation with a springboard wheelbarrow cutter! They catch Skye in an electric chair, WALLER WITH DOOMSDAY DESTROYER!!!! King with a superplex to Mach 10 and Waller with a frog splash right behind it gets the pin! What a wild 2nd half opener!!!

Match 8: The Foundation: Hot Wheelz Edition (Tracy Williams, Wheeler Yuta & Rhett Titus) vs Kings & Queen of the District (Trish Adora, Jordan Blade & Eel O’Neal)

Yessssssssss! They shake hands honorably to start this. Yuta and Eel work the graps evenly…Yuta isn’t expecting this much fight. Blade and Eel drop Yuta on his head a few times and pummel him but it’s not enough for the early pin. Rhett in, gets Blade’s shoulder and works it hard. Chicken wing spinout slam! Hot Sauce drives a knee through Blade’s limb. Rhett dropping knees to the arm. Trish trying to fire her team up. Rhett misses the knee drop! Blade kicks the heck out of him, Trish tags in! Yuta getting rolled and beat by KQOTD! Eel caught and Germaned. Gutwrench powerbomb from Sauce on Eel.    Triple submission on the Foundation! Williams faceplants Eel into the buckles. Titus tries to get in but Adora drops him on his back. Yuta in like fire and puts the YuTap on Blade….Blade rolls it up for two! Eel with a crucifix! Yuta catches him and traps a slick pin. Williams & Titus run interference and the pin counts three. Both these teams!!!!! Williams give eel his own bottle of hot sauce. Great high energy fight here!

Match 9: “The Wounded Owl” LuFisto vs “The Russian Dynamite” Masha Slamovich

Masha has a challenge tonight against a returning legend of the indies. Tie up and they are even in power. LuFisto complains about a hair pull and uses the moment to pull Masha to the mat by her hair. LuFisto controls the wrist but Masha cartwheels out and slams her down into a shoulder lock. Masha comes in hard but LuFisto sweeps her off the apron and boots her in the face. LuFisto slows it down and takes Masha’s face apart. She stands on her hair and pulls her into a painful bridge. Masha fights her way back up but LuFisto painfully kicks her down…and reminds a particularly insolent fan at ringside what her damn name is. Masha gets stomped out. LuFisto torturing Slamovich, the crowd trying to will their current favorite back to life but the older Beyond fans are enjoying this display. Masha fires up with a jackknife pin but LuFisto blasts her into the corner, running hip attack and cannonball for two! Trading shots and chops and slaps in the center. Masha has no quit…but LuFisto has VERY MUCH still got it. Double back elbow drops them both T the crowd chants “Beyond Wrestling!!!”. Masha with a leg lariat for two! LuFisto with a cradle suplex for two! LuFisto is definitely playing to the crowd that is against her. Masha with a page Turner! Kick out! LuFisto with a Tiger driver! Kick out! LuFisto goes for the burning hammer…Masha with a saito suplex, axe kick…piledriver for two! Masha tries a piledriver! LuFisto back kicks the ref in the junk! Masha isn’t having it, piledriver to LuFisto and she gets the three! I wanted LuFisto to win here so bad but DAMN, this was a return! Welcome home, LuFisto. We’ve missed you!

Main Event: Biff Busick vs SLADE (No DQ)

Biff Busick is so important to Beyond Wrestling that they used his theme music for the 4-5 years that he spent in Florida…until he came back that is. The man from Rikers Island is here to do battle. CUE BRO HYMN! These two very intense men are ready to do battle. Head to head, power for power, SLADE finally runs him to the corner and sends him to the floor. Busick trying to fight back but SLADE is living up to his moniker of the Jason Vorhees of professional wrestling, Biff sent into the post a couple of times. SLADE goes for plunder. A couple of chairs and a door. SLADE puts him through a door! Biff is a bloody mess!!! Biff fires up and blasts a door over his head but SLADE eats it and pummels Biff with a chair. European uppercut stuns SLADE and he gets to the apron. SLADE gets brutally sabu’d! JEEEEEEESUS that looked rough. SLADE is bleeding hard now too! Biff tries a suicide dive but SLADE cracks him with a trash can! SLADE sets up a door table. Biff firing back but SLADE tries to put him down with a sleeper. SLADE is gushing blood. half and half suplex, SLADE bounces up with a lariat! Biff with a dropkick! SLADE chokeslams him through the door! Two count! Trading shots back and forth! Running European uppercuts from Biff! Biff with two solid shots from the trash can to the top of the head. SLADE won’t die. Biff puts the can over his head and hits a running European uppercut into it to get the VERY hard fought win. SLADE is an absolute bloody mess right now but Biff shakes his hand before he staggers to the back.

Biff grabs the mic. He’s been in the ring with a lot of crazy b***ards…but SLADE is up there. Biff says he lost his passion for wrestling…he was nervous for tonight…but this crowd made him believe again. Biff gets the Beyond Wrestling chant going one last time for sending us all home. He feels gross and needs a shower. The crowd showers him in song as we go home. This was a wild night of wrestling, made all the more energetic by the weather we had to brave to be in this building. It was a long show, for sure but I feel like I got a lot of the work week stress out of my system tonight. Fete brings out the best in this crowd and Beyond made sure we had a great show in front of us. See you next Thursday!
