STARDOM started off with some other notes at today’s press conference before announcing the card for the 2/23/22 “Cinderella In NAGAOKA” event which will be another pay-per-view.
They officially announced World of STARDOM Champion Syuri is defending the title against Giuila on 3/26/22 on Night 1 at Ryogoku Kokugikan. Mayu Iwatani will get the title shot against the winner of that match on 3/27/22 on Night 2 at the venue.
There will be a new concept event on 3/11/22 in Shinagawa City called “New Blood 1”. The company described it as show that will focus on a new generation featuring several wrestlers from other organizations. A press conference with the names and more details will take place at a later date.
Here is the lineup for “Cinderella Journey 2022 at NAGAOKA” on 2/23/22 at Niigata Aore Nagaoka:
Tam Nakano vs. Fukigen Death in a pre-show match
Rina vs. Waka Tsukiyama vs. Mai Sakurai in a pre-show match to determine the number one contender for The Future of Stardom Championship.
Utami Hayashishita and Lady C vs. Momo Watanabe and Ruaka
Syuri, Maika, and Himeka vs. Giuila, Thekla, and MIRAI
Future of STARDOM Champion Hanan vs. Momo Kohgo
The scheduled Mayu Iwatani vs. Saki Kashima match has turned into a tag team match with Iwatani and Tam Nakano vs. Kashima and Fukigen Death
High Speed Champion Starlight Kid vs. AZM
Goddesses of STARDOM Tag Team Champions Hazuki and Koguma vs. Unagi Sayaka and Mina Shirakawa
Wonder of STARDOM Champion Saya Kamitani vs. NatsuPoi
STARDOM will be doing yet another press conference in the coming weeks to reveal the full lineups for the 3/26 and 3/27 shows. Executive producer Rossy Ogawa recently gave the strongest hint yet as to who the mystery woman might be. He said her contract will be up soon and he wants her to be part of those March events. He said he will talk more about it at the press conference for those shows. Kairi Sane’s WWE contract expires this month so it’s either an obvious tease or a big swerve. But every indication seems to be that Kairi Sane/Kairi Hojo will be making her long awaited return to STARDOM this year.
