WWE NXT UK REPORT: SATOMURA VERSUS DAVENPORT, AND MORE

We see NXT UK Tag Team Champions Trent Seven and Tyler Bate walking in the back to join Andy on commentary for the number one contenders match.

Match Number One: Dave Mastiff and Jack Starz versus Ashton Smith and Oliver Carter in a Number One Contenders Tournament Finals Match

Carter and Starz start things off and Starz with an arm drag into a wrist lock. Carter with a reversal and Starz escapes. They lock up and Starz with a waist lock take down and Starz gets a near fall. Starz with a front face lock. Starz with a single leg take down but Carter sends Starz into the corner. Carter with an arm drag into an arm bar.

Carter with a forearm to the arm and he lifts Starz into the air. Starz with a back body drop and arm drag into an arm bar. Carter with a kick and Smith tags in. Starz with an arm drag and arm bar. Mastiff tags in and he applies a side head lock. Mastiff with a shoulder tackle and snap mare. Mastiff with a seated splash for a near fall. Starz tags in and he continues to work on the arm. Smith with a knee to stop a tag. Smith with a hard Irish whip and a wrist lock. Carter tags in and Smith with an arm wringer. Carter with a slingshot shoulder tackle for a near fall.

Carter with a side head lock and Starz with a rollup for a near fall. Carter lands on his feet on a belly-to-back suplex attempt. Mastiff tags in and Carter with drop kicks but Mastiff stays on his feet. Carter goes for a springboard moonsault but Mastiff is not there and Carter lands on his knee. Mastiff with a back senton for a near fall. Carter with a kick and Smith tags in. They punch Mastiff and hit a double back body drop. Starz comes in and he is given a double hip toss. Mastiff and Starz discuss strategy before Dave returns to the ring. Starz tags in and he connects with European uppercuts but Smith responds. Starz with a forearm and he goes for a power bomb but Smith goes for a back body drop. Starz with a drop kick and a head scissors take down. Starz with a monkey flip but Smith with a cartwheel out of the hold. Starz with a kick. Starz goes for a monkey flip against the ropes but Smith with a back body drop. Carter tags in.

Carter rolls Starz back in and gets a near fall. Carter with an Irish whip and elbow. Smith tags in and hits a knee drop for a near fall. Smith with a slam and Carter tags in and kicks Starz. Carter with a Silly String splash for a near fall. Carter with a suplex to Starz for a near fall. Carter runs into a boot in the corner but Carter with a spinning heel kick for a near fall. Smith tags in. Smith with a forearm to the back. Starz lands on his feet on a belly-to-back suplex but Smith blocks an attempt for the tag and Smith with a clothesline for a near fall.

Smith gets Starz on his shoulders and Carter tags in. Starz kicks Smith and then hits a butterfly superplex on Carter. Smith tags in and he cannot stop Mastiff from tagging in. Mastiff with forearms and a knee to the midsection. Mastiff knocks Carter off the apron but Mastiff misses a splash. Mastiff with an overhead belly-to-belly throws to Smith. Mastiff sends Carter to the floor. Mastiff with forearms and Smith fires back. Mastiff with an Irish whip but he runs into a boot. Smith runs into a clothesline for a near fall.

Mastiff gets Smith on his shoulders but Smith escapes. Mastiff with a forearm and then both men bump heads and go down. Mastiff says he is okay when Starz wants to make the tag. Mastiff with a German suplex and Mastiff refuses to make the tag. Mastiff misses Into the Void when Smith moves. Carter tags in and hits a running double knee strike to the back followed by a cothesline from Smith and an assisted moonsault for the three count.

Winners: Ashton Smith and Oliver Carter

We see Blair Davenport in the back as she waits for her match against Meiko Satomura.

A-Kid is asked about his match with Saxon Huxley. A-Kid says no great mind exists without a little madness. He says he sees a little of himself in Saxon. He respects Saxon. That is why they have been working on Saxon’s etiquette.

A-Kid says it is a work in progress.

We go to commercial.

We are back with a video package for last week’s NXT UK Championship match.

We see Nathan Frazer leaving the Performance Centre and he is asked about Die Familie. He says there is a weird dynamic going on. Frazer has some car issues and then Die Familie attack Frazer.

Raja says Nathan Frazer said they aren’t a family. This is what happens when you disrespect their family.

Match Number Two: Isla Dawn versus Myla Grace

They lock up and Dawn sends Grace to the mat. They lock up again and Grace pushes Dawn away. Grace with a rollup for a near fall. Grace with a kick and leg sweep. Grace with a drop kick for a near fall. Dawn with a bicycle kick and jumping knee. Dawn kicks Grace in the corner. Dawn with a forearm and Irish whip. Dawn chokes Grace in the ropes.

Dawn goes to the apron and kicks Grace in the temple. Dawn goes up top and misses a knee but rolls through. Grace with forearms and a head scissors take down. Grace runs into a kick. Grace with a Tiger Feint Kick to Dawn and a tornado DDT for a near fall. Dawn with a round kick and side slam for the three count.

Winner: Isla Dawn

We see Meiko Satomura getting ready for her match against Blair Davenport.

Amale is asked about her match last week against Jinny. Amale says that Jinny proved that she cannot win a match without cheating.
Nina Samuels shows up to take over the interview.

Nina says she is going to interview someone she has a history with.

Amale wants to know what does Nina want.

Nina asks how does Amale feel since she showed how hopeless she is.

Amale tells Nina they can settle this in the ring.

We go to footage from earlier this week when Sam Gradwell was asked about Kenny Williams.

Sam asks if this means he got a taste of his own medicine? Maybe. You have to ruffle a few feathers. He knows that everyone does not like him, but he is not a cockroach. He says that Kenny Williams is not ready for Sam Gradwell.

We go to commercial.

We are back with Sha Samuels and Noam Dar. Noam says that Supernova Sessions are back for scene two.

Gallus shows up to make a bet for Joe Coffey to win the Heritage Cup.

Next week, Teoman will face Nathan Frazer.

Sha says that bet is closed.

Joe suggests discussing it on Supernova Sessions.

Match Number Three: Meiko Satomura versus Blair Davenport in a Japanese Street Fight for the NXT UK Women’s Championship

Davenport swings and misses with the kendo stick but Satomura with kicks and Davenport goes to the floor. Davenport sends Satomura into the ring post and Blair gets a kendo stick and chairs from under the ring. Blair throws the chair at the ring post and misses. Satomura is sent into the ringside barrier by Davenport. Davenport sets up a chair and kicks Satomura. Blair with a forearm that sends Satomura into the chair and Davenport with a thrust kick to sends Satomura to the floor.

Satomura hits Davenport with a chair and sends the chair into the ring. Satomura goes under the ring and gets nunchucks. Satomura stands on the chair to keep Davenport from using it. Satomura hits Blair with the nunchucks. Satomura throws it to the floor and Irish whips Davenport and follows with a forearm.

Satomura with a belly-to-back suplex for a near fall. Satomura gets a chair and Davenport gets her boot up and then drop kicks the chair into Satomura off the turnbuckles. Satomura rolls to the floor and the referee checks on Satomura. Davenport sends Satomura into the ringside barrier. Davenport with a forearm and a waist lock but Satomura blocks a German suplex. Satomura with a Pele kick and a round kick to Davenport. Satomura grabs a chain and wraps it around her boot. Satomura kicks Davenport against the ring steps. Satomura tries to kick Davenport but Davenport hits Satomura with the kendo stick. Davenport kicks Satomura. Davenport sends chairs into the ring. Davenport sends Satomura into the ring and Davenport brings a trash can into the ring. Davenport puts Satomura’s hand in a turnbuckle and pulls it to work on the fingers. Davenport with a drop toe hold and STF. Davenport hits Satomura with the kendo stick to get out of the hold. Davenport continues to hit Satomura with the kendo sticl.

Davenport puts the kendo stick against Satomura’s cheek. Satomura gets to the ropes and the referee reminds them there are no rope breaks. Davenport hits Satomura with the kendo stick. Satomura stops Davenport on the turnbuckles but Davenport pushes Satomura down. Davenport with a double stomp to the back but Davenport appears to have hurt her ankle.

The referee signals to the back and the referee calls for the bell

Winner: Meiko Satomura [by referee stoppage] (retains Championship)

We see replays of Blair’s ankle as she hits the floor.
