Matt Cardona was crowned the second-ever Impact Wrestling Digital Media Champion tonight on Impact on AXS, defeating Jordynne Grace in what looked to be a full heel turn for Cardona in the promotion that would bring him more in line with the role he's portrayed in Game Changer Wrestling over the last year.
Late in the match, Cardona, who had teased second thoughts on how physical he was getting with Grace, was tossed to the floor. Cardona landed in front of the title belt and picked it up off the ringside table. He went to return with it but the referee took it away. As the referee placed it back outside, Cardona smashed Grace with a steel chair and hit Radio Silence for the pin.
