Riddle is the guest on the latest edition of Mark Andrews: My Love Letter To Wrestling. The BBC podcast was released today with Riddle, noting that the RK-Bro team was supposed to originally be a one-time deal that would see Randy Orton turn on him after the first night but they were convinced by management to see if they could run with the team.
While noting that talking trash has helped his career, Riddle noted it led to him running afoul of Roman Reigns, who he did not explicitly name but made references to. Riddle noted he wrote an apology note to Roman but after showing it to Orton, Orton shot it down....
"Randy looked at it and said ‘nah, this is all wrong…this is what you write”. And he sent me an ‘apology’ back where there was no apology at all, and it was basically like…’yeah my bad’…I mean he knows this chief better than I do so I was like ok…so I sent the apology, but let's just say he didn’t accept it….and I was like Damn it Randy!"
Riddle also noted he wants to see NXT's Pete Dunne on the main WWE roster.
