THE FORMER EMBER MOON'S FIRST POST-WWE BOUT ANNOUNCED, WILL FACE THUNDER ROSA

Chicago's Warrior Wrestling announced the following:

Athena (WWE’s Ember Moon) Returns to Wrestling; Will Face Thunder Rosa for Warrior Title in Cicero

Chicago, IL (February 2, 2022) – Warrior Wrestling announced today that ATHENA – formerly known as Ember Moon in WWE – will return to professional wrestling and challenge Thunder Rosa for the Warrior Wrestling Women’s Championship on Saturday, February 12th, at Warrior Wrestling 19 in Cicero Stadium, just outside of Chicago. 

Thunder Rosa won the Warrior Wrestling Women’s Championship in August 2021 by submitting Kylie Rae, and she has successfully defended it against Mercedes Martinez in December 2021 at Warrior Wrestling 17. 

Warrior Wrestling 19 on February 12th in Cicero, Illinois, will also feature:

- The Briscoe Brothers vs. The Workhorsemen (First time ever!)

- Bandido vs. Dante Martin (First time ever!)

- Dalton Castle vs. Warhorse (First time ever!)

- The Acclaimed vs. Brian Cage and KC Navarro (First time ever!)

- Sam Adonis vs. Lince Dorado for the Warrior Wrestling Lucha Championship

- AEW’s Santana vs. “Speedball” Mike Bailey (First time ever!)

- Miranda Alize vs. Skye Blue

- Fatal Four-Way: Blake Christian vs. Alex Zayne vs. Gringo Loco vs. Myron Reed

Tickets are available at www.WarriorWrestling.net and start at $40. This is a family friendly event. Kids 16 and under are FREE to the GA section and to the VIP Fan Fest with a paying adult. 

The VIP Fan Fest runs from 4:30 to 6:30. A $100 VIP Fan Fest ticket includes autographs and pictures with every single wrestler on the card. The Fan Fest ticket is separate from the show ticket.
