Larry D announced this evening that he has requested a contractual release from Impact Wrestling:
I love @IMPACTWRESTLING with all my heart,ive been able to achieve things id never imagine! With heavy heart ive requested my release and am eager to make waves in other markets...I will be accepting podcast,interviews an other media in the coming weeks..much ? all! Lets work!!

Larry D, a longtime journeyman who worked in the Mid-West, signed with the promotion in 2019 in what an emotional moment as he had been wrestling since 2002 without having been signed anywhere. He mostly teamed with Acey Romero in a very underrated tandem for the promotion and as a character, made his biggest splash as Lawrence D, who shot John E. Bravo at his Demon Wedding after being spellbound by Rosemary. Yes, I really wrote that sentence and you really read it.
