NEW JAPAN PRO-WRESTLING COMES TO CHICAGO FOR “WINDY CITY RIOT”

For Immediate Release January 31, 2022 (Carson, CA) --

New Japan Pro-Wrestling announces “Windy City Riot”, a special event on April 16, 2022 that will see New Japan Pro-Wrestling come to the Chicago area for the first time ever.

A roster of some of the biggest names in New Japan Pro-Wrestling will be in action, with Jay White, Will Ospreay, Tomohiro Ishii, FinJuice, Yuji Nagata, Fred Rosser and Tom Lawlor leading the charge, along with the popular breakout stars of NJPW STRONG and rising Japanese names Ren Narita and Yuya Uemura.

Tickets for ‘Windy City Riot’ will go on sale on Friday February 4 at 12PM CT, starting at just $25. New Japan Pro-Wrestling have been staging events with fans in attendance in the US since August 14, 2021 all with the safety of fans, staff and wrestlers taken as top priority. As a result and to prevent the spread of COVID-19, masks will be required during the event when not eating or drinking. 

For those not in attendance, ‘Windy City Riot’ will be available with English commentary as a live pay-per-view presentation on FITE (https://www.fite.tv/channel/new-japan-pro-wrestling/). Live coverage with Japanese commentary on streaming subscription service NJPW World (https://njpwworld.com) is also planned.
