We begin with a look at the WWE Championship Match from Royal Rumble when Roman Reigns, with help from Paul Heyman, allowed Bobby Lashley to defeat Brock Lesnar for the title.
Adam Pearce is in the ring and he welcomes everyone to Raw. Adam mentions that we saw the return of Ronda Rousey on Saturday, Bobby Lashley become WWE Champion, and the destruction by Brock Lesnar. Adam mentions that Bobby will defend the WWE Championship at the Elimination Chamber and defend the title in the Elimination Chamber.
WWE Champion Bobby Lashley makes his way to the ring with Montel Vontavious Porter.
Porter says that is not how it works. Lashley pinned Brock Lesnar in the ring and he proved his superiority. He went to hell and back and now he has to go to hell again? He has to defend the title in the Elimination Chamber? Do you know the odds? What you are doing is wrong. You are putting him in the most barbaric match.
Bobby wants to know who the hell Adam is. Bobby says he is supposed to be celebrating that he beat Brock. He knew he was better all along. He is a better amateur wrestler, a better MMA fighter, and a better champion than him. Everybody thought the beast could not be slayed but I slayed the beast. We can look at the footage and see me pin Brock. Bobby wants to know who is the conqueror now? Who is the beast now? Who is the champion now? Bobby Lashley.
Brock Lesnar's music plays and he makes his way to the ring and he is not okay and he does not sleep all night and work all day.
Brock tells Porter to shut up or he will shove that cane up his ass. Brock asks Bobby if he is going to stand here and pretend that you are the champion? From one athlete to another, where is the pride in that? You didn't beat me Saturday. You know the only way you beat me was because of Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman. I am not mad at you. It is all good. I am mad at Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman. After that little debacle of a wrestling match we had. It was a good match and kudos to you. After that, Brock Lesnar took it upon himself and entered the Royal Rumble. News Flash. . . Brock won the Royal Rumble.
Because Brock won the Royal Rumble, it means that Brock Lesnar gets to choose who he fights at Wrestlemania. Brock says there is no need to worry. It's not you. At Wrestlemania, I am going to face Roman Reigns. It has nothing to do with you Bobby. What it does mean for you, it means that Brock Lesnar versus Roman Reigns will be title versus title. That is where you get involved. Brock says he is dressed to fight. Because I am dressed to fight, I challenge you to my rematch right here in this ring in Cincinnati.
Lashley says he beat Brock once and he can do it again.
Brock says that Bobby's manager is holding him back.
Porter says after conferring with the WWE Champion. You can go to the end of the line and earn your title match. Your request is denied.
Brock tells Bobby that he is nothing but a chicken s***.
Bobby stares at Lesnar and he yells at Porter while Porter yells at Bobby.
Bobby leaves the ring with Porter and Lesnar pushes Porter.
Adam says that Bobby has denied Cincinnati a title match tonight. Adam says that Brock will be part of the match.
We have a video package for Nikki A.S.H. and Rhea Ripley.
We are told that AJ Styles will face Rey Mysterio in a qualifying match for the Elimination Chamber. Kevin Owens will face Austin Theory in another qualifying match.
Match Number One: Rhea Ripley versus Nikki A.S.H.
They lock up and Rhea sends Nikki to the mat. Nikki goes for the leg and Rhea with a gutwrench toss to the mat. Rhea gets Nikki up for a slam but Nikki gets to her feet. Nikki with a kick. Rhea catches Nikki on a cross body attempt and Rhea gets Nikki up for a delayed vertical suplex. Nikki goes to the floor. Rhea goes to the floor and Nikki returns to the ring. Rhea gets back into the ring and Nikki goes to the floor. Nikki pulls the ring skirt out to catch Rhea on a baseball slide and Nikki with forearms.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Nikki with a double wrist lock. Nikki with an Irish whip and shoulder in the corner. Nikki with kicks in the corner. Nikki with a forearm and she goes to the turnbuckles and grabs Rhea by the hair. Rhea tosses Nikki away when she goes for a tornado DDT. Nikki with an elbow and she blocks a forearm. Rhea with a series of short arm clotheslines. Rhea with a head butt and snap mare followed by a drop kick. Nikki with a rollup for a near fall. Rhea with a thrust kick and a Northern Lights suplex for a near fall. Rhea puts Nikki on the turnbuckles and connects with punches. Nikki with some punches and a chop to the nose. Nikki with a tornado DDT for a near fall.
Nikki goes up top and leaps over Rhea. Nikki with a forearm to the back and she sets for a swinging neck breaker but Ripley blocks it and hits RipTide for the three count.
Winner: Rhea Ripley
We take a look back at last week's educational challenge.
Kevin Patrick is in the back for the Alpha Academy Educational Challenge. The participants in the scooter race are Chad Gable and Riddle.
Chad says it is a disgrace that a scooter race is part of an Academic Challenge. Gable says the spelling bee was rigged.
The rules are for the participants to complete 50 laps and finish at ringside.
Gable says he is more aerodynamic with his suit.
The guest race starter is R Truth.
The race begins.
We take a look back at Alexa Bliss and her session last week.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Alexa is with her therapist. He asks Alexa what she is thinking about. Alexa says that he mentioned 'imaginary' two weeks ago. Lilly is real. When she was looked down upon, Lilly has always been there. She always had her back. He asks if Lilly was to return to her. Alexa says she would hug her, play with her, dress her up in pajamas, have a sleepover and watch scary movies. The therapist has a replica doll of Lilly, but not the real one.
He asks Alexa how does it make her feel. Alexa smiles.
We take a look at the mixed tag match from Saturday night.
Match Number Two: Miz versus Dominik Mysterio (with Rey Mysterio)
They lock up and Miz backs Dominik into the corner and pats Dominik on the head. Dominik pushes Miz and forces Miz to fall into the corner to avoid a punch. Dominik with a waist lock and punch. Dominik sends Miz into the ropes and Miz gets to the floor to avoid a 619. MIz has some words for Rey and Miz is pulled back to the apron. Miz pushes Rey into the announce table. Miz with a kick. Miz 'falls down' and claims that Rey did it. The referee, siince he did not see it, ejects Rey from ringside. Miz with a Skull Crushing Finale while Dominik focused on his father's exit from the ring.
Winner: Miz
Dana Brooke walks in the back and she is ambushed by Tamina. Dana and Tamina exchange punches and then Riddle and Gable pass her on lap 18 of 50.
Kevin Owens makes his way to the ring.
