Matt and Nick are in a trailer keeping warm and Matt brings up how creepy Christopher Daniels is ever since the Bucks beat him up badly in their tag match on Dynamite. Nick mocks Matt saying ,“What’s gonna happen, will he just appear if you say his name three times?"
Matt says he’s not scared of anything so Nick gets in front of a minor and chants “Fallen Angel." Nothing happens. They leave for Dynamite but Nick forgot his phone and goes back inside finding Daniels sitting on the couch.
Gong!
“I heard you calling my name and thought you might need my help”.
Nick says, “Well I do need with how to use the reimbursement app”.
Daniels explains that he needs to take photos of his receipts and send them to payroll. Daniels disappears. Matt returns to a frightened Nick.
At the airport Nick, Matt & Brandon can’t believe how much snow there is. Nick is still upset over losing his bag and $2500 worth of stuff inside. They get to their rental van and it’s so cold there are icicles hanging from it. The SoCal boys are not used to this.
Nick Nemeth is back at Gold’s Gym in Venice Beach. He tries to talk to the viewers about recycling plastic when an off screen woman asks if he’s Brody King. “Do I have tattoos? Do I look like I crawled out of Satan’s glove compartment. Are you making fun of me because I’m almost 30 and can’t grow a beard”? His cameraman alerts him she was flirting with him and he blew it.
The Dark Order are examining #10 Preston Vance’s umm… bulge in his pants which grosses out Anna Jay. After some jokes it turns out it was a banana in his pants. Smart Mark Sterling shows up and says he’s going to sue them for attacking him on Rampage (Sterling is still in a neck brace).
Musical interlude where the Young Bucks do some of The Hardy’s signature poses.
Back at Gold’s Gym. Nemeth is answering emails and says if you don’t “reply all” you’re not trying.
Adam Cole is in his locker room also in a neck brace after Dynamite. Alex Reynolds & John Silver come to check on “Budge”. They give him a fortune cookie. Cole says you could have brought Advil instead.
Cole’s fortune says, “Remember the birthday but never the age”, the fortune’s lucky number are his birthday. Cole says, “This means he’s going to have an awesome 2022, he’s going to win all of his matches and won’t fall off anymore stages and that we’ll become awesome friends… I mean tolerate each other”.
They tell Cole to eat the cookie or it won’t come true. They help him eat it because he’s sore. The cookies are old and disgusting. Silver gets overly excited that Cole’s locker room has a toilet and gets weird. Cole has had enough of John and kicks them out.
