Revolution Pro Wrestling “High Stakes 2022” results from London, UK at York Hall on 1/29/22:
Alex Coughlin beat Lord Gideon Grey with a sleeper hold in just a couple of minutes.
Shota Umino pinned Yoshi Tsuji after the Death Rider.
Dan Moloney pinned Callum Newman after the Drilla Killa.
REV Pro Undisputed British Women's Champion Alex Windsor pinned Charlie Evans after her Fisherman’s finisher. Debbie Keitel attacked both afterwards. Keitel cut a long promo then Hyan returned to the company and went after her.
Ricky Knight Jr. pinned Luke Jacobs after Kishi Driver.
Intermission
Gabriel Kidd pinned Francesco Akira after a Tombstone. Several people are raving about this match and called it a “must see”.
REV Pro Undisputed British Tag Team Champions Chuck Mambo and TK Cooper beat Mark Davis and Kyle Fletcher when Fletcher was pinned after a double team finisher.
REV Pro Undisputed British Heavyweight Champion Will Ospreay pinned REV Pro Undisputed British Cruiserweight Champion Michael Oku after the StormBreaker. They went 41 minutes and both were bloody. Ospreay gave him several Hidden Blades. Connor Mills refused to throw in the towel to end the match, but Amira Blair (Oku’s girlfriend) did throw in the towel. Ospreay used the towel to wipe Oku’s face with it as a taunt. He then threw the towel at Blair at ringside and hit the StormBreaker on Oku for the pin. After the match, Ospreay sat stoically in the corner of the ring while Blair, Mills, and several others ran in to check on Oku. Blair became livid and went over to slap and claw at Ospreay. This is being called a Match of the Year candidate and another must see.
