AEW RAMPAGE REPORT

It is Friday, and AEW Rampage was filmed after Dynamite in Cleveland, Ohio at the Wolstein Arena an our commentary team is Excalibur, Taz, Ricky Starks, and Chris Jericho.

Jon Moxley vs Anthony Bowen

Mox comes in through the crowd and then goes through the crowd on his way to the ring, up the steps and then back down to get more crowd time.

As Anthony Bowens is taking off his jacket, Mox attacks Max Caster and tosses him from the ring. Mox then goes after Bowens, beating him down in three of the four corners. Mox takes Bowens to the middle of the ring and gives him a pair of back slaps. They go to the floor and Mox tosses him into the barricades. They brawl into the crowd and Mox tosses him over the barricade into the ringside area.

Mox tries to pull Bowens into the ring post, but Bowens wins the test of strength and pulls Mox into the post. He tosses Mox into the ring and mounts him for a series of right hands. Bowens is able to beat down Mox in the corner. Bowens hits a Russian leg sweep and gets a two count. Bowens tries for a suplex, but Mox blocks it, reverses it and gives Bowens a front slam and a series of kicks. Caster grabs Mox's boot, giving Bowens the chance to take down Mox with a ripcord clothes line. He covers for a two count, covers again for another two count. Bowens gives Mox a neck breaker and we go to picture in picture.

When they return to full screen, Mox is raking Bowen's back with his fingernails. Bowens drops to the mat and hits Mox with a drop kick and a super plex for a two count. Bowens beats on Mox's shoulder as Mox tries to get up. Bowens climbs to the middle rope. He leaps into a boot from Mox. Mox tosses him out of the ring, and then leaps out of the ring, hitting Max Caster. Mox tries to get in the ring, and Bowens catches him with a DDT from the second rope and a two count.

Bowens hits Mox with a series of blows around the ring, and they they go blow for blow in the middle of the ring. Bowens hits a quick series, and Mox retaliates with a chop and a jumping pile driver for a two count. Mox drapes Bowens on the ropes and hits a series of elbows. They run the ropes and Mox tries for the sunset flip, Bowens grabs his legs and sits down for a two, Mox reverses for a two, and they release. Bowens gets a knee strike and a two. Bowens hits the claim to fame and covers for a two count. Mox calls for Bowens to keep at him, and Bowens hits him with strike.

Bowens grabs the boom box and the ref sees it and takes it away. As she tosses it from the ring, Caster tosses Bowens a chain, and as he runs at Mox, Mox is able to hit a running cutter. Caster comes in the ring and gets clotheslined out. Bowens tries to attack but Mox rolls him up with a schoolboy for a two count. Mox hits the King Kong lariat, hits the paradigm shift and covers for the three count.

We then see in the back and Bryan Danielson was watching the match.

We get a taped promo from Nyla Rose about her bout with Ruby Soho. By The Way, Nyla Rose is writing an upcoming X-Men special for Marvel. I'll have more details next week on the Dynamite Post Show Party because I am your comic book hookup.

In the back, Andrade El Idolo is outside Sting's locker room. He goes in and sees that Darby Allin is there, and he asks where Darby's boss is. Andrade then offers a contract with him. Darby says he doesn't work for Sting, and he's lost his mind. Money doesn't mean anything to him, and he can't buy Darby's dignity. Darby pulls out Sting's bat, and then says to take it easy, he wants to talk to Darby's boss.

FTR vs Lee Johnson and Brock Anderson

Cash Wheeler and Lee start off with arm bars. They move to headlocks and then running the ropes with Cash is able to shoulder tackle Lee a few times. Lee is able to tag in Brock, and Lee hits Cash with a Hurancanrana into his corner when he tags in Dax Harwood. They lock up and trade waist locks. They move to arm bars and a nice sequence of reversals.

They run the ropes and Dax wasn't able to knock Brock down with the first shoulder tackle but did drop him with the second. Brock then gets a hip toss on Dax and tags in Lee after Cash tries to interfere. Lee is able to get leaps onto each member of FTR on opposite sides of the ring. Lee hits a diving cross body for a two count on Dax. They go to picture in picture.

When they return to full screen, Dax is in the ring with Lee and Lee had been tossed around outside the ring by Dax while the ref wasn't looking. Lee is able to hit a neck breaker and both men have to crawl to their corners. Cash tags in first, Lee is able to rebound and tag in Brock who cleans house.

Brock tosses Cash into the ropes, and Dax grabs him to try and stop the momentum. Brock is able to run into Dax, knocking him off the apron, and sits on Cash for a two. Cash reverses it for a two. Brock tags in Lee and they catapult Cash into Lee's boot. Brock hits a DDT and Lee hits a frog splash from the top for a cover and a two count but Cash gets a boot on the ropes.

Outside the ring, Brock gets in Tully's face, Tully backs into Arn, who levels him with a double arm strike across the chest.

In the ring, Lee is picked up by Cash, kicks off of Dax and uses the momentum to cover Cash for a two count. As Lee and Cash are struggling, Dax gets a blind tag. Dax is able to put Lee in the position for a spike pile driver, and Cash drives him down. Dax rolls into position and covers for the three count.

Your winners: FTR

We get a video package about the feud between Mercedes Martinez and Thunder Rosa.

This is followed by a video of the vicious streak of Serena Deeb.

Jade Cargill (TBS Champion) vs Julia Hart

Julia comes to the ring with the cheerleader gear and an eye patch. Jade comes to the ring with Mark Sterling.

Jade is a head taller than Julia, and they quickly hook up and run the ropes. Jade is able to get a shoulder block, and then on the next run hit s a tilt a whirl back breaker. She hits an elbow and a two count. Jade then does push ups and sit ups to taunt Julia and Julia takes advantage with a rollup and a one count. Julia runs into Jade and bounces off. Julia gets in a pair of kicks and a hand spring into the corner. Jade picks her up and Julia is able to drop down and get a rollup for a two count.

Jade hits a pump kick on Julia's blind side and then hits the Jaded. She covers Julia for a two count and the win.

Mark Henry does his interview with the main event teams, and Matt Hardy speaks for Private Party. Cage does the talking for Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus. Matt and Cage calls JB and Luchasaurus Jurassic Exprerss, even though they aren't called that in the title cards. JB talks about how tired he is about hearing how Private Party will pound his ass.

The time for talking is over, except for the card for next week's shows, and it's time for the Main Event!

Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus (AEW Tag Team Champions) vs Private Party (Marq Quen and Isaiah Kassidy)

The Gunn Club (Ass Boys) are in the crowd and run their mouth at JB and Luchasaurus, allowing Private Party to jump them from behind before the bell,

Private Party hits gin and juice right as the bell rings on JB for a two count.

Private Party hits a series of quick tags to beat down on JB. JB avoided a double leg drop from the top and fights his way to tag in Luchasaurus.

Private Party scatters.

Luchasaurus beats down the Hardy Family Office on the outside, but when he gets on the apron to fight, Hardy nails him with a chair as we go picture in picture.

When they return to full screen, Private Party has kept working over Luchasaurus's leg.

We see Andrade watching the match from way up in the cheap seats.

Luchasaurus is able to get clotheslines and crawl to his corner.

Private Party grabs his legs and he drag them along to his corner.

They pull him back and he is able to get up, hit a double clothesline and tag in JB. I liked this spot. Made Luchasaurus look like a monster while keeping the “Can he make it” element, even if it was silly.

JB cleans house.

JB tosses Private Party out of the ring and hits a series of topes on them.

JB rolls Kassidy into the ring and Kassidy floats over and hits an enziguiri for a two count.

Kassidy and JB fight on the top turnbuckle.

Quen shows up and elevates JB on his shoulders. Luchasaurus comes in behind and pulls JB onto his shoulders and kicks Quen into the corner.

Kassidy leaps into JB with a cross body and JB reverses it into a slam and gets a two count.

All four men are down.

They get up, battle around and Private Party hit the silly string on Luchasaurus.

JB is up and tosses Kassidy into Quen on the apron, rolling up Kassidy for a two count.

JB is able to lock on the snare trap and Quen hits a shooting star press on them to break up the hold.

Kassidy tags in Quen.

Quen puts JB on the top and they go for the gin and juice, but JB turns it into a destroyer.

JB tosses Quen into Luchasaurus and they hit the Thorassic Express for the three count and the win.

Your winners and still AEW Tag Team Champions, Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus.
