Braun Strowman and EC3 are going to wrestle in Dubai on 3/7, according to CBS Sports. The pair will be working for a new company U.A.E. United Wrestling Nation, which states its first event will be at the Coca-Cola Arena.
Northeast Wrestling will hold its biggest weekend of the year, Wrestlefest, this Friday 1/21 in Waterbury, CT at the PAL with Adam Scheer (fka Braun Strowman) & EC3 vs. The Righteous' Vincent & Dutch on top, the former Fandango vs. Flip Gordon, plus a Ladder Match with Inzanely Rude vs. Waves & Curls and Mercedes Martinez appearing. On Saturday 1/22, they return to the Mid-Hudson Civic Center for Wrestlefest 26 with Malakai Black vs. Jay Lethal for the first time ever as Lethal replaces Matt Taven. Based on an angle they ran on the SiriusXM Busted Open radio, Adam Scherr & Erick Redbeard will have a mini-Wyatt Family reunion vs. NZO & Bully Ray, Penta vs. Bandido vs.Christopher Daniels vs. Flip Gordon, The Briscoes appearing, Megan Bayne vs. Thunder Rosa, NEW Champion Dan Maff vs. JT Dunn, Dutch vs. Hale Collins, Brian Anthony, WWE Hall of Famer Sgt. Slaughter appearing, Mark and Jay Briscoe, Club Cam & Trustfund vs. Wrecking Ball Legursky & Gio Galvano & Waves & Curls and more set. We are seeking live reports from the events. New Jersey's Titan Championship Wrestling will present "A Monsta Among Men", celebrating the 25th anniversary of Stephen Carrasquillo aka Steve Monsta Mack, who was one of the pillars of Jersey All Pro Wrestling and New York's ICW as well as one of the founding roster members of Ring of Honor as one half of Da Hit Squad with Dan Maff. The show will be held 2/19 in Toms River, NJ at the Adrenaline Sports Academy, so expect a lot of faces from Mack's career to pop up. Azrieal and Lowlife Louie Ramos are among those advertised for the show. Mack's always been a great, underrated talent who's been a locker room leader and his feud with Low Ki in 1998 really was one of the great independent rivalries of that era that deserves a lot of credit for setting the stage for the early 2000s indy scene. Jonathan Gresham vs. AEW's Santana will headline the second TERMINUS event in Atlanta, GA on 2/24. Mr. Hughes was among those visiting at last night's debut.
Super Crazy vs. Ultimo Dragon and Laredo Kid vs. Dragon Lee will headline Masked Republic's Expo Lucha debut at Philadelphia, PA's 2300 Arena the weekend of 6/11/22-6/12/22. Other talents announced for the event thus far are Octagon, Ultimo Dragon, Keyra, Tinieblas, Alusha. Bestia 666. MechaWolf 450, Psicosis, Super Astro Jr., Damian 666, Gringo Loco, Mr,. Iguana, Pirata Morgan, Arez, Lady Maravilla, Aeroboy, Black Taurus, Solar, Keyra, Solar Jr. and more. The weekend will include autograph and photo sessions as well as Q&A panels. The convention has been postponed several times due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic but is planned as the largest ever lucha gathering in the Northeastern United States after similar events in California and Nevada.
