By Mike Johnson on 2022-01-17 10:35:00

PWInsider.com sends our deepest condolences and best wishes to Sasha Banks and her family as it was announced over the weekend that Banks' father passed away.

WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus announced over the weekend that her father-in-law also passed away, so our deepest condolences to her family as well.

Charlotte Flair was interviewed by TV Source Magazine at this link.  In the interview, she noted she's never done an Elimination Chamber match and would like to.  She shut down the idea of competing in the Men's Royal Rumble bout.  On her motivation to perform, Flair commented, "I constantly surprise myself. That’s really it. Sometimes I drive down the road, and I look at my life, and I’m like, how the hell did I get here? I hadn’t found my purpose or passion yet in my twenties. When my brother passed away, my life changed and put me on the path to where I am today. If I can go this far, how much further can I go?”

Shayna Baszler was interviewed in advance of the WWE live event yesterday in her hometown of Sioux Falls, Iowa at this link by the Sioux Falls Argus Leader.  On the difference between MMA and professional wrestling, Baszler noted, "One of the things that makes pro wrestling really special compared to other sports or other forms of entertainment is that the crowd is an integral part of the show. The crowd is a character in this whole thing. So the crowd being into it, the crowd chanting, how they're reacting can affect how the match goes."

Following her loss to Aliyah on this past Friday's Smackdown, Natalya tweeted the following:
