Game Changer Wrestling will debut on PPV and return to FITE.TV this Sunday 1/23 with The WRLD on GCW, live from the Hammerstein Ballroom in NYC featuring:
*GCW Champion Jon Moxley vs. Homicide.
*ROH World Champion Jonathan Gresham vs. Blake Christian.
*GCW Tag Team Champions The Briscoes have an open challenge.
*Ruby Soho vs. Allie Katch.
*Jeff Jarrett vs. EFFY, which should be announced anytime.
*Matt Cardona (with Chelsea Green) vs. Joey Janela.
*Team Bandido (ASF & Bandido & Laredo Kid) vs. Team Gringo (Arez & Demonic Flamita & Gringo Loco)
The live event is sold out.
*Eddie Kingston vs. AJ Gray was expected for this show, but Kingston missed the AEW Dark tapings over the weekend, so that bout may be up in the air.
Nate Webb suffered a stinger taking a supex in Chicago over the weekend, but is said to be OK and feeling better.
GCW drew 800 in Detroit on Friday. The atmosphere for that show was insanely great, on the level of the best ECW Arena peak era shows. They will return to Detroit at Harpo's on 4/23. Scott D'Amore of Impact Wrestling was visiting at the show.
Chicago was below Detroit but we don't have an estimate on the crowd.
Thunder Rosa vs. Tony Deppen was announced for GCW's return to Los Angeles.
Hoodfoot, who debuted in Detroit in a crazy Death Match against Alex Colon, is booked to return against Matt Tremont in Atlantic City, NJ on 2/19.
This Saturday, GCW and Orange Crush will hold the first-ever Indie Wrestling Hall of Fame ceremony at the Cutting Room in NYC, featuring:
*Homicide, inducted by Chris Dickinson.
*Jerry Lynn being inducted by Sean Waltman.
*Lufisto being inducted by Lenny Leonard.
*Dave Prazak being inducted by CM Punk.
*Ruckus, inducted by Sonjay Dutt.
*Tracy Smothers.
The HOF will also stream live on FITE.TV this Saturday.
