WWE TEAMING WITH UNICEF TO OFFER $2K GRANTS TO SCHOOLS

By Mike Johnson on 2022-01-14 16:47:00

UNICEF and World Wrestling Entertainment issued an announcement to a number of schools today that they are working together to bestow several $2,000 grants to schools that take part in their UNICEF Kid Power Partnership program as part of a "Road to WrestleMania 38 Sweepstakes."

Each school looking to become involved must have at least five teachers signed up with active UNICEF Kid Power accounts.

Each school must also collectively complete 10 "Kid Power Up" videos (or more), unlocking at least one "Ready to Use Therapeutic Food" packet that will be donated to a severely malnourished child in need between January 4 – April 1, 2022.  WWE has produced a number of these "Power Up" videos, which are hosted by WWE performers.

Four schools that meet this criteria will be selected and notified after 4/1/22.

Each winning school will be awarded a $2,000 grant to make a difference in their school and/or community.

Each school will also be named a WWE Community Champion.
