STARDOM results from Tokyo, Japan at Korakuen Hall on 1/9/22:
AZM is off the show due to injuries from her match yesterday against Momo Watanabe. I assume this is a storyline injury to sell Watanabe’s referee stoppage knock out victory by using a illegal object in her boot.
Thekla pinned Saki Kashima in 7:58.
Mayu Iwatani and Hanan beat Unagi Sayaka and Waka Tsukiyama when Hanan pinned Tsukiyama in 8:54.
MARAI, Himeka, and Maika beat Tam Nakano, Mina Shirakawa, and Mai Sakurai when MARAI pinned Sakurai in 12:40.
Momo Watanabe, Starlight Kid, Rina, and Ruaka beat Saya Kamitani, Utami Hayshishita, and Lady C when Watanabe pinned Lady C with a reverse B Driver in 17:08. Watanabe and Hayshishita will have a match on 1/29/22 in Nagoya. The show is being called “Nagayo Supreme Fight”. I assume it will be another pay-per-view.
Hazuki and Koguma won the Goddesses of STARDOM Tag Team Titles from Giuila and Syuri when Hazuki pinned Giuila with the Hazukistral Cradle in 16:55. Himeka and Maika came out to challenge the new champions.

Today’s OZ Academy show at Shinjuku FACE in Tokyo was evacuated before the fourth match because of a fire in the basement of the building. The fire department arrived on the scene to get everything under control “Wrestling… with Demons” corespondent Tomi Yamada was there and she told me everyone is safe but the rest of the show ended up getting cancelled. She described it as an “unnerving situation” but nobody panicked.
Yamada also says the Sendai Girls show that was scheduled for today at the venue at 18:00 Japan Time will still be able to take place. She plans to be there for it too.

Kekeru Sekiguchi won a 3-Way Match over Maya Yukihi and Tsubasa Kuragaki by pinning Yukihi in 4:27.
Sonoko Kato went to a 10-minute time limit draw with Itsuki Aoki.
Yumi Ohka went to a 15-minute time limit draw with Saori Anou.
