It is Friday and it's time for AEW Rampage, taped on Wednesday night at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. Our commentary team is loaded with Excalibur, Chris Jericho, Ricky Starks and Taz.
Adam Cole vs Jake Atlas
They lock up collar and elbow and they trade wrist control. Atlas is able to get a headlock takeover. Cole turns it into the head scissors, but Atlas is able to work his way out of it. They run the ropes and each miss a series of kicks because they are just too quick. After they reset, Atlas gets a drop kick and a two count. Atlas then moves to work over Cole in the corner. Atlas goes to the top and Cole is able to push him off, and Atlas hits the apron and goes to the floor. Cole tosses Atlas into the ring post outside they ring.
They both roll into the ring and keeps up the pressure with strikes on the mat. Atlas fights his way to the center with forearms, but Cole is able to counter with a backstabber when Atlas comes off the ropes and they go to picture in picture.
When they return to full screen, Atlas is able to take over with upper cut forearms and a Hurricanrana. Cole rolls to the outside where Atlas is able to nail him with a tope. He tosses Cole into the ring, hits a shotgun dropkick and a two count. Cole is able to hit a pump kick and then a ushigarochi and a two count.
Cole gets in a kick, but Atlas is able to get a kick and a ripcord, but Cole reverses the next move for a brain buster and a two count. Cole runs in for another kick, but Atlas gets a running boot and a huge slam for a two count. Atlas hits a springboard into a kick by Cole. Cole goes to the top for the Panama Sunrise, but Atlas is able to "block" it, and Cole locks in a knee bar, causing Atlas to tap out.
Your winner: Adam Cole
reDRagon come to the ring, clapping for Cole. Cole tells Atlas he's earned another ass whoopin, but before they can start, Orange Cassidy walks down to the ring with a chain on his arm and Best Friends at his side. Cole and reDRagon bail.
He are told that Cody Rhodes isn't cleared to wrestle tomorrow night, so taking his place will be Dustin in the match with Sammy Guevara for an interim version of the TNT title.
In the back, Tony Schiavone asks Andrade why he distracted Sting and Darby Allin. Andrade says they need a new assistant and he wants to hire Darby.
Hook vs Aaron Solow
Solow is already in the ring, and Hook's hair still looks as if he hasn't done anything with his hair since 2018.
They start with a greco roman knuckle lock and Hook turns it into a back suplex. Hook hits a standing switch, and drives him to the match and puts him in a half nelson until Solow gets to the ropes. Hook gets in a few blows before QT Marshall on the outside grabs his foot, distracting him to Solo can lay it into him in the corner.
Hook is able to reverse things when Solow tries to whip him into the ropes with a drop step, and brings Solow down and locks him in a mat based octopus hold. Solo is able to roll back and get a two count. They are up, but Hook takes Solow down with another suplex. Solow tries a few attacks, but Hook gets him with a shoulder keeper suplex. Hook gets his series of blows and then locks in the Redrum until Solow taps out.
Your winner: Hook
QT gets in Hook's face. Hook waits until QT takes a swing at him, dodges it, and Hook drops him with the shoulder capture suplex.
Ricky Starks will be taking on Matt Sydal for the FTW title tomorrow to show Dante Martin that he can beat him in one, while it took Dante three tries to win.
We then get a video package about the street fight with Bunny, Penelope Ford, Tay Conti, and Anna Jay.
Ruby Soho and Riho vs Britt Baker and Jamie Hayter
Sadly, we do not get Taz singing Ruby's entrance theme, let alone dace. In a world in turmoil, we need Taz's dancing!
They start brawling before the bell. The bell rings as Ruby and Hayter start and Ruby beats down Hayter and tags in Riho. They keep Hayter in their corner with quick tags. Riho goes for a cover, but she can't get the leg and it's only a one count. Baker tags in and Ruby is able to take her down, give her a dismissive kick and Riho is tagged in. She and Ruby go back to quick tags.
With Ruby in, the run the ropes, but Rebel grabs Ruby's leg, allowing Baker to take control and suplex Ruby. Hayter gets in a kick and Baker is able to cover for a pair of two counts as we go picture in picture.
When they return to full screen, Ruby is able to get a suplex on Baker and both women are down. Baker gets the tag first, but Riho tags in and takes down Hayter with drop kicks and a drop toe hold and a tiger kick for a two count, broken up by Baker. They try to double team her, but she was able to fight them both off and get a two count on Hayter. Riho goes for the diving foot stomp, but Baker pushes her off the ropes.
Baker and Hayter double team Riho and when Hayter goes for the pin, Ruby breaks it up. Hayter tries a charge into Riho, but she gets out of the way so that Hayter slams into Baker, Riho takes advantage of this and hits the surprise rollup for the three count and the win.

Baker and Hayter have words and Baker goes up the ramp along.
In the back, Dan Lambert, and the Men of the Year have promo time. He complains about the Interim TNT title and they go after Tony Khan. And they will be watching the TNT title match tomorrow night closely. We then get a rundown of the card on Battle of the Belts and next Dynamite.
2point0 take over the interview segment, and Kingston, Santana and Ortiz just leave to head on over to where they are talking and start the fight.

When we get back from commercial, they brawl up the entryway.
Kingston brings in a garbage can, and Daniel Garcia gets to take a beat down with it in the ring.
Ortiz has the Madball for the fight outside the ring
A beer has been tossed into the camera. Kingston and Garcia are brawling on the floor.
Matt Lee and Ortiz fight through the crowd
Jeff Parker takes down Santana.
The brawl goes to the ring as we go picture in picture
When we get back, Ortiz and Santana take out 2point0 in the ring,and Garcia sneaks in for a rollup and a two count.
Garcia is left along in the ring for everyone take beat him down.

The brawl continues after the fall. Kingston is duct taped tot he ropes and 2point0 and Garcia beat him down until Chris Jericho runs to the ring to drive them off.
