During tonight's episode of AEW Rampage, it was announced that AEW TNT Champion Cody Rhodes will not be able to defend his championship against Sammy Guevara as scheduled on tomorrow's AEW Battle of the Belts special due to AEW's medical protocol.
Instead, Guevara will wrestle Dustin Rhodes to determine an interim TNT Champion.
Obviously, the unspoken idea is that the winner will eventually face Cody to determine the undisputed TNT titleholder.
