The Wrestival’s 7th and final event is upon us! Maine’s Limitless Wrestling has made the trip down to Worcester for one last burst of action to help ring in the New Year! Rich Palladino is your announcer! Johnny Torres & Troy Nelson are at the commentary table. This crowd is FIRED UP for our final show of the weekend. 

Match 1: “The Alternative” Anthony Greene (w/ Hoot Greene) vs Becca 

Oh right, Becca isn’t scummy in Maine? I suppose we don’t boo her here? We do chant for Hoot, “AG’s Pug!”. AG twisting at Becca’s arm and she gets freed on the roads. Test of strength, back to the wrist lock but Becca reverses it. Becca with a wheelbarrow rollup attempt and gets the wrist lock on herself. Step up top rope rana! Crossbody into a cover! Springboard punch sends Becca flying to the floor. Greene chops the post! Green with a sitout driver for two. Suplex for two! AG wrenching at Becca’s neck. Becca tries a tilt a whirl ddt but AG decks her. Becca up in an electric chair, she spins down into a facebuster. Big boots from Becca! Greene is staggering! Crossbody from the top! Slingshot ddt! AG kicks out! Hreen with a Hangman’s butterfly suplex out of the corner! Becca dropped again and Greene grabs a single leg crab. Becca kicking free and escapes an unprettier into a muta lock! Becca flies of for another DDT. Greene catches her but she rana’s him over the top. Moonsault to the floor! Superkick from Greene! Becca with a sunset flip bomb! Trading stiff punches in the center! Greene rolls Becca head first into the bottom buckle. Becca rana’s Green into the second, which has come exposed! Becca to the top! 450 splash! Greene kicks out! Becca sinks in the muta lock in the center! Greene struggles but is forced to tap out! Great back and forth here to kick us off. Crowd was definitely INTO this contest, split between both combatants. They shake on it and Greene accepts a scrunchie from the scrunchie squad leader.

Winner: Becca

Match 2: Arte (Ava Everett, Aaron Rourke & Ricky Smokes) vs Love, Doug & The Mane Event (Midas Black & Jay Lyon)

Doug’s original partners, Waves & Curls, can’t be here tonight so he brings out his new partners…The Mane Event! Arte ambushes them during their intro but they get battered back in but the ring and we have a match! Mane Event wipes out Smokes with a double dropkick and a double tandem armdrag cannonball! Lion hoop spot to Smokes and he’s crushed on the floor. Ava & Rourke swarm in and throw Mane Event out for a stereo dive. Doug grabs his roses, throws the bouquet and crossbodies everyone! SMOOCHES! Everyone loves Doug! Smokes getting beaten up again until he gets the Dimepiece in there. Rourke with a gory bomb to the top buckle on Midas. Ava with a flying cutter for two! Midas getting stomped out through multiple tags. Midas gets free of Ava and Doug is in to clean house! Springboard double back elbow! Bulldog to Smokes! Sitout driver to Rourke! Two count!Rourke rakes the eyes and Ava tries to pick the bones…Doug with a lovely lariat! Lyon with a lionsault! FrogsplSh from Midas! Arte breaks up the pin! Rourke drags Doug out of the ring and locks him out of the building’s fire escape. Mane Event caught up in the 3-on-2 chaos. Midas kicked off the apron. Lyon gut kicked and rolled up as soon as Doug is able to get back into the building to see his team take the L. Fun match and great seeing evil Ava doing her thing.

Match 3: Mortar vs Jody Threat

Mortar steps in for Threat’s original opponent, Davienne, who had stepped in for her original original opponent Ashley Vox. It is a surprise and he ambushes her from behind. Jody is on a losing streak and has something to prove so she rages back, throws him out and cannonballs to the floor. Mortar back in with the big fight and hits a headbutt. Big slam and a two count. Mortar with a delay vertical suplex! Kick out! Jody dodges a lionsault! Charging corner clotheslines. Mortar back with a big senton for two. He’s frustrated that ThreaT won’t stay down! He picked her up, Jody DDT’s him down! Mortar tripped up and double knees! Spear from Threat! F5! Threat wins! Good fight here! 

Winner: Jody Threat

Match 4: Anthony Henry vs Ace Romero

Henry is so outsized here. Henry can’t even trip the big boy. Henry just starts using kicks to chop at the trunk. Uranage out of the corner but Henry dodges the senton. Ace wants to bomb him on the apron but Henry with a double stomp and kick. Uppercut takes Henry out of the sky on a dive! Ace chopping up Henry and walking him down. Big chop but He Ty firing up and wants more. Big kicks taking the air out of Acey. Henry comes running and bounces off the meat wall. Henry tries to slam Ace and gets squashed. Uh oh. Henry unloads a chop and it does nothing and just starts to collapse with exhaustion into Ace’s chest. Corner clothesline! He tries a boss man slam but Henry turns it to a DDT! Henry ducking and weaving, hitting forearms and kicks until Ace decks him. That was like spinach to Popeye as Henry gets the fire to slam Ace Romero! Henry with a dragon screw out of the corner and Ace is in trouble! Henry targeting the legs and hitting a big PK! He misses a double stomp and turns into a pop up powerbomb! Henry kicks out! Ace heads up for a Vader bomb…Henry kicks up through the middle! Rana off the top! Ace is up and lariats Henry’s head off! Kick out! Henry escapes a Package Piledriver! Dropkick off the top! Flurry of kicks drop the big man! Henry grabs the ankle and wrenches it! Ace rolls and kicks Henry off! Henry comes in but gets swatted away. Ace hits the package piledriver and Henry is DOA. Ace offers the handshake, Henry kicks it away and storms off. Loved seeing Henry on the backpedal here against the monster in Ace.

Match 5: MSP (Aiden Aggro & Danger Kid) vs Prestigious (Channing Thomas & BRG)

Thomas and DK trading position on a wristlock. DK sent to the floor after BRG pulls the rope. Prestigious fake a dive to taunt but get the double noggin knocker. Double drive by kick! DK with a hard slaps and chops! Aggro enters officially to bait Channing in. Dropkick to the face, BRG tags in but gets swung and tossed to the mat. Aggro with some straight punches but BRG pokes the eye. Prestigious got wild with the double teaming as DK protests. Aggro gutted in the top rope, BRG with a hangman’s elbow drop. Aggro lighting his midsection up but BRG just drops him for another two count. Thomas with an uppercut to Aggro for John Alba, who’s Spectre is kind of looking over Prestigious even if he isn’t here. Double suplex and Aggro is taking all the punishment. Aggro whiffs an enziguri and takes a superkick German. Kick out! Aggro escapes with an enziguri and DK is in! Big kicks and clotheslines! Roll in double cutter! Two count! MSP misses the senton/ cannonball combo. Spike piledriver to DK and Aggro runs the pin over! Aggro slaps the hell out of Prestigious but they deck him and pop up to an electric chair. DK saves the doomsday! Aggro with a rolling double stomp! Senton/cannonball hits! BRG takes a ride and slammed into DK’s knees for the pin. Wild tag contest here. Lot of fun!

Match 6: “The Russian Dynamite” Masha Slamovich vs “Iron” Rip Byson

Masha in hot with a German right away and stacks the pin for two. Byson with a back drop and big slam. Slingshot elbow drop but Masha’s foot is on the rope. Masha with a stiff kick to the spine and drops Byson again for a pin attempt. Byson wants all the chops because he has some of his own to serve up. And they thud. Byson with a stampede for two! Masha with a flurry of knees and kicks drops the big man for two. Masha gets the leg and slams Byson on the back of his head for two! Masha comes running, uranage out of the corner! Byson trying for the burning hammer but they get into a battle of lariats. Back kick doubles him over and Masha hits a butterfly piledriver for a reallllllly close two! Byson off the ropes with a lariat! Kickout! Masha tries to put him to sleep and gets Byson down to the mat…Byson flips the position and keeps Masha down for the three! Hard hitting fight here with a classic finish! 

Winner: Rip Byson

Main Event: “The Prize” Alec Price vs “The Blue Collar Badass” JD Drake

Crowd split between the two! Drake eats a slap and these two get to swinging. Price with a stunning forearm and enziguri! Drake slaps Price off the top buckle and throws him on back in. Price with a dropkick sends Drake outside! Drake catches a dive, throws Price into the ropes and lariats him on the rebound. Huge chops as Drake walks Price down in the crowd. Drake demands the ref stop counting them out and he meekly agrees. Price chopping back, Drake goes to the eyes and lights up his chest again. Senton from Drake to the back…and again to the chest. Another chop and Price fights back to his feet, throwing punches. Drake with a slam and falling headbutt for two. More chest meat for the Drake chopper. Alex swinging wild from the bottom and Drake Coldclocks him. Alec takes the beating until he can fire up again with punches! Drake pops him up! Dropkick! Alec slips a suplex and tries an enziguri..Drake with an inside out suplex and shining wizard for two! Price firing back with kicks! Belly to belly! Drake misses a Vader bomb! Price firing back and Drake keeps clubbing him down with a single shot. Price flips out of a back drop, springboard DDT! Drake powders, Alec crossbodies to the outside! High knees! Springboard leg lariat! Two count! Rebound German! They trade sleeper attempts! Drake suplexes him out of it! Both guys are exhausted but Drake is still serving up chops! Price ducks out for a moonsault blockbuster! Alex setting it up….JD dodges the back kick! Overhead toss! Drake to the second but he gets rana’d off! Springboard from Price and he lands in a stunner! Cannonball! Drake misses a moonsault! Price with a Yakuza kick. Drake muscled up to the top! Price hit with a fire thunder driver off the top!!!!! Drake covers, kick out! Drake with shining wizard! “You’ve got to be s****ing me” says Drake on the kick out. Drake has him up, Alec with a tilt a whirl face buster! Flying back kick to the head! Drake kicks out! Drake crawls back up to his knees and Price hits one more kick to the back of Drake’s head to close out this absolutely EPIC main event!  Good lord this was awesome.

Winner: Alec Price

Alec offers the handshake and says that in his debut, Drake put him over and made him the man he his today. We’re going for a hug? Drake gives him the finger and walks off. The Blue Collar Badass is furious but this was The Prize’s night. 

And that’s it for Limitless Worcester! They brought their A-game tonight. The weekend crowd was really fired up for this one and the energy was paid back in kind. Price/Drake was something special though. An absolute war. What an awesome end to a very fun 3-day wrestling party!
