Beyond’s annual new year’s celebration is back! We have people (with masks)! We have lights! We have a card that’s going to take us all the way to 2022! We have Paul Crockett & Sidney Bakabella on commentary! We have Rich Palladino on the the announcer’s mic! We have a huge supershow ahead of us tonight so let’s go wild as we go live on IWTV!!!

Match 1: 44OH (Rickey Shane Page, Gregory Iron & Bobby Beverly) vs Shook Crew (Bryce Donovan & Bobby Orlando w/ Bobby Jr)  & Aaron Rourke

I guess Cam Zagami couldn’t dust himself off after last night’s whipping from LMK to head up the club tonight. Rourke condescends to Iron…who slaps the crap out of him. Rourke trying to stay flipping but Iron is good at dodging and dropping the Dimepiece on his dome piece. Bobby & Bryce throw down, Donovan eating some big chops before RSP gets in to wipe out the Shook Crew. Orlando is just terrified of RSP, who blasts Bobby into the front row! Orlando taking the heat from 44OH. RSP slams Iron into Orlando for two. Iron comes off the second at Donovan who catches it into a sidewalk slam. Iron taking a beating now, double kick into a German for two. There a distraction with the ref and RSP does twin magic?!? I’ll buy it. The ref throws him out before he’s definitely not Greg. The real Greg makes the tag and Shook Crew takes a series of saito rides. Bobby with a crossbody! Iron takes out Bryce! RSP with a frogsplash! RSP plex tosses Iron outside at their opponents! RSP suicide dive! Orlando throw back in for a Beverly suplex for two. Bryce eats a ddt from Iron. German combo back at him for a close call! Iron kicks out after a split legged moonsault from Rourke. RSP tries to toss Rourke from the top but he eats a double doomsday meteor. Bryce with a piledriver to Beverly. Kick out! RSP in legally! Torture rack toss into a knee. Another one into a flatliner! RSP with a chokeslam into a headkick on Orlando and 44OH picks up the emphatic win to kick the night off! This may not have been the quick execution of the remainder of Club Cam we thought. Instead we got a really fun back and forth chaotic contest!

Winners: 44OH!

Match 2: “The African American Horror Story” Eel O’Neal vs Vincent Nothing

These two start smooth, working through several holds and painful positions. Nothing breaks the stalemate, popping up Eel and kicking him on the landing. Knees to the gut, overhead toss to Eel. A stiff chest kick rages Eel to his feet but Nothing blasts him right back down. Eel with a desperate dodge and jacks Vincents arm in the top rope! Eel starts to target the limb, tearing at twisting it up in his legs. He snaps down on the wrist and Nothing is hurting BAD. Vincent drops Eel with German on the back of his head! Michanoku driver for two! Eel fights a uranage and dives into a kimura attempt! Nothing plexes his way out of the hold! Superplex….but Eel pops up back into the kimura and Vincent Nothing has to tap out! Great showing here! Absolutely stoked for Eel to get a chance to really show off as a technical savage, much like his partner Jordan Blade did last night.

Winner: Eel O’Neal

Match 3: “The Non-Binary Nightmare” Max the Impaler vs “The Wild Child” Jody Threat

Jody comes in but Max just overpowers her right off the bat. They are a threat to Jody but Threat is able to hit a rana to spike Max into the mat. It doesn’t last, Max blasts Jody to the mat with a clubbing blow and tosses her away like a bag of laundry. Jody trying to throw hands and lands a good boot to the head. Max sends Jody off and a full body attack has them standing tall. Big clubs from Max as the ref has to warn them off several times. Foot choke to the throat. Max tries to drag Jody up but falls into a sleeper! Jody is cranking it but Max grabs the hair and flings her forward. Max charges into a boot…catches a crossbody into a fire Thunder driver! Jody tossed across the ring by her hair. Max comes running and posts themselves! Spear from Threat! Both are down! Jody barely makes it up but uses Max for leverage and fires off with a barrage of shots. Threat with a seated senton! Clothesline! Kick out! Max dropped to the second, double knees to the back, shot off and baseball slid to the floor. Threat cannonballs to the floor! Threat hits a F5!!!! Max kicks out! Max with a spear! Max with a stiff powerbomb….Threat kicks out! Max tries to choke her out with a cloth. Max tries another bomb but Threat with a sunset flip pin attempt but eats most of the impact herself! Threat tries another spear….Max catches her midair and hits a big ending to put Threat away! Max got a win! Good back and forth heavy offense fight here.

Winner: Max the Impaler

BUT WAIT! “The Kingpin” Brian Milonas is out here! When did he get back?!?! He blasts Max down with a chair! Max takes a shot to the head! Brian winds up and swings hard at the side of their head. Max is laid out brutally. Milonas is mad at Max about getting messed with by them at ROH Final Battle and the follow up taunting on social media. It’s receipt time. He reminds us just who the f*** he is as he rams Max facefirst through a chair and leaves them laying. WOW.

Sam Laterna is here to present the IWTV Tag Team of the Year Award! This looks to be a regular segment through the night. And the winners are: VIOLENCE IS FOREVER!!! The streak continues! And they are ready to show us WHY they won, in their match with Discovery Gauntlet Season 3 winners Miracle Generation.

Match 4: Violence is Forever (Kevin Ku & Dominic Garrini) vs Miracle Generation (Kylon King & Dustin Waller)

Miracle Generation goes right on the attack at their entrance! King with a wild dive and we are ready for action!!!! Garrini thrown out and Ku eats a giant pile of tandem offense. Dom tags in and Wallet eats a boot. Powerbomb into a back elbow from ViF. The match slows down and Waller is taking a beating. Waller kicks out of danger but DG uses it to blast King off the apron. Waller starting to reverse on Ku, head kick and a flying forearm! Garrini wipes out King again and Walker is stuck in Violencetown. Ku finally slips and Willard gets out of there. King fires up hard on Ku but DG is there to stop it….until Kylie hits a slingshot double arm drag! Waller dives out! Wheelbarrow cutter into a German on Ku! Kick out! All tag decorum has been thrown out. King hit with a dropkick snap German that folds his head in half. King fighting back to his feet! VIF with a double discus elbow. Total Elimination! Waller breaks up the pin! DG and Walker go blow for blow! Garrini dropped! King with a step up dropkick to Ku! Suplex into a frogsplash! Garrini catches the splash into a head and arm choke! Waller DVD’s Ku to break the position! Ku and King blow for blow! King with a high knee! Pop up powerbomb! Miracle Generation with the superple but Garrini cuts off Waller. Kylon King eats a pair of suplex before VIF puts him down with Chasing the Dragon for the three! Wild tag match, this was a huge step up in competition for Miracle Generation! I expect great things for them in 2022. Your 3-time tag team of the year? Well, they continue to be one of my favorite tandems.

Winners: Violence is Forever

Sam Laterna is back out for another IWTV award! Wrestler of the Year? It’s “Red Death” Daniel Garcia! OBVIOUSLY, he’s not here tonight. Sam Laterna reads a statement by Garcia but AC Mack stomps out here and says Garcia doesn’t deserve this award. He takes some time to list his recent accolades, such as being the IWTV #1 contender and beating Garcia in the Scenic City Invitational tournament. The problem is that AC Mack stopped moving and SLADE, who has clearly been following him for the 4 hours since “KEVINNNN!!!” earlier, ambushes and chokes him out back through the entryway. I love this continuity…but I guess it means Mack is dead now…as SLADE comes back through the entry alone and ready for his next match.

Match 5: SLADE vs “The Blue Collar Badass” JD Drake

Head to head right at the bell and we’re just gonna trade some hard chops from the outset. These two just get to pummeling each other, SLADE with a saito suplex sends Drake to the floor for more chops against the ring. JD reverses the position and chops the crap out of SLADE before dropping him on his head on the apron. SLADE comes in, Drake pokes the eye. Big slam, kick out! SLADE muscles the big man up for a powerslam! Boss man slam from Drake! More chops! Forehead to forehead! SLADE is enraged that Drake won’t go down. Exploder suplex! SLADE with a chokeslam! Kick out! SLADE’s chest is bettered into raw meat. SLADE tries the chokeslam again but Drake with a stunner! SLADE dodges a cannonball! Running back fist to the head! Drake rolls out but is down. SLADE doesn’t want the count out! Drake back in, Double underhook driver! JD with a moonsault off the top and SLADE stays down for the three! What a great hoss fight! Drake gives a fist bump of respect to the madman of Rikers Island. SLADE finally leaves the building so AC Mack is likely safe now if he is still alive.

Winner: JD Drake

Match 6: “Megasus” Megan Bayne vs “The Afropunk” Trish Adora

Is the streak ending tonight? Can Trish ends the Megasus’ reign of terror? Or does this end as it always ends, with Bayne stands tall? Trish offers a hand and Bayne takes it aggressively before they go into the lock up. They struggle around the ring, Bayne drops Trish on her face but Adora is quick to slam Bayne right back. Arm drag takeover from Adora and she’s trying to take out the shoulder early. Trish takes a few tries but lands a big shoulder block to drop her. Bayne picks her up but Trish struggles back down and flips Bayne down with a wrist lock. Bayne slams her way free after a long struggle. This is the most defensive we’ve seen Bayne in a while. Adora escapes a fireman’s carry, pair of enziguris and a German for two! Bayne catches a kick and tosses Adora overhead. Adora sent for another ring across the ring. Big vertical release suplex and the ref is starting to check on Adora’s willingness to continue. Adora eats a big forearm and Bayne hits a huge powerslam for two. Bayne is getting frustrated as normally her opponents are dead by now. Bayne with a bear hug and tries to squeeze the life out of Trish. Adora breaks free, whip to the corner, head kick! Trish trying some power offense but Bayne Germans her back for two. Bayne misses a splash! Adora with a cradle for two! Trading punches from their knees! Adora with a crossbody! Trish with corner splashes! Bayne fighting back but runs into a belly to belly backbreaker! Spine buster! Kick out! Trish slips out of the F5! Big slam and a crossface to Bayne! Samoan drop on the escape! Trish avoids the tombstone! Trading quick pin attempts! Trish with an air raid crash! Kick out! Bayne is in such deep waters right now but hits the F5! Bayne grabs an armbar and sinks it in deep…Trish fights to the rope but passes out from the pain. I need a moment to breath. This was absolutely bananas and Bayne was pushed harder than we’ve seen…..AND YET. So much drama but in the end, Megasus remains unbeaten. Who is left? She’s run through the ENTIRE roster…minus perhaps Kimber Lee.

Winner: Megan Bayne

Match 7: Dan Barry vs Vincent

The rest of the Righteous are no where to be seen, will Vincent handle this himself? Fist fight from the bell, Barry get out and Vin and makes the dive. Dan unleashes one of his own and stomps out Vincent in the corner! Superkick on the apron. Suplex from Vincent on the apron and Barry is very down. Vincent mocking him, “do it for Bill!” Dan eats a saito and a kick for two. Dan Barry is not dead. Back kick to the gut! vin don’t with a running forearm and slam out of the corner for two! Barry with a head scissor into a crucifix pin for two! Vincent blasts him down again and mocks Dan for not caring about Bill Carr. Dan with an enziguri to the top! Superplex!  Vincent popping up but Barry blasting him over and over. Flip senton! They trade finish attempts, Dan hits a snap ddt for two! Vincent try a rollup with feet on the ropes but Dan’s out. Side Russian leg sweep! Vincent to the top! Swanton bomb! Kick out! Vincent goes for the kill, Barry with a suplex for two! Barry goes for the kill but Vincent rolls him up again with a handful of tights to get the three! Vincent is out of there immediately as Dan Barry looks in disbelief that his big chance to get revenge on Vincent failed. Good back and forth match but the crowd was so wiped from the match previous. Where does Dan Barry take it from here? What does Vincent do now in Beyond?

Winner: Vincent

Rich Palladino announces Matt Cardona at Day 91 on Fri Feb 4th (featuring the return of Biff Buick to Beyond) as we go to intermission. Sam Laterna is out for another IWTV award. The Moment of the Year? Matt Tremont exploding on 10/31 against Atushi Onita!

We’re back from intermission.

Match 8: “The Babe with the Power” Willow Nightingale vs “The Prize City Queen” Becca (w/ Alec Price)

Willow very badly wants to get her hands on Alec Price. She settles to toss Becca to the outside. Becca dodges a dive back into the ring but Willow waits for her outside. Willow sidesteps and Becca faceplants into the floor through the ropes. ROUGH landing but she looks good to go still. Willow tries coming off the rope but Alec distracts and Becca tosses her for two. Foot choke in the ropes and a boot wash! Handspring back elbow into a bulldog for two! Willow swinging for the abs but Becca kicks her off. Becca whiffs a yakuza kick and rolls up for two. Neckbreaker from Willow! Becca back with a split leg drop for two. Handspring knee drop for two. Becca choking Willow on one corner while Price removes the buckle from the other corner. The ref catches it and throws him out. Becca is furious, Willow firing up and both almost eat the exposed buckle. Flying clothesline from Willow! Becca with the boot. Willow with big lariat! Trading hard chest chops and stiff forearms! Becca with a code red! Kick out! Shotgun kick to the corner! Becca puts Willow up top…Willow with a fisherman’s driver back to earth! Kick out! Willow with a slap and runs Becca into the exposed steel! Up to the top….Becca drops Willow face first into the steel! OH NO!!!! Becca to the top! 450 splash! Becca gets the pin!!! Wild match, I could have sworn Willow was going to take this, especially with Alec out of the mix. But the Prize City Queen is a crafty one….and gutsy.

Winner: Becca

Becca demands her boyfriend comes back, which is convenient since he has a match next…..and it’s time to get beat up.

Match 9: “The Prize” Alec Price (w/ Becca) vs Ryan Galeone

Galeone has a death stare on Price from the moment he comes through the curtain to the bell. Price with a sucker punch and hides in the ropes. Another sucker punch and Price runs for cover. Galeone taking some wild swings and Alec keeps ducking and countering. Galeone gets his hand on the kid and decks him down. Price tries some chops….WEAK. Galeone tenderized that chest meat with a pan hand. Price tries a slingshot but gets yeeted with a German across the ring. Alec with a dropkick and follows up but Galeone gets his trunks. Price flipped in the air and pounces back with a double stomp! Price throwing hand and eats a HUGE one in return. Becca gets a chance to choke Ryan on the ropes. Slingshot splash for two! Flying knees to Galeone’s chin. Price off the top, caught into a chokeslam but he fights out. Price cuts down the big man with a kick and a near fall. Price runs his mouth and Galeone fires up with more big shots. Price is gutsy and keeps throwing hands. Price comes running into an electric chair style slam. Galeone with a flying knee! Price with a kick! One arm powerbomb from Galeone! Becca with the distraction, Alec with a flying ddt. Flying step up blockbuster! Kick out! The crowd is firing up for the Prize’s efforts. Are we GAHBAHGE??? Price hit with a one arm GTS! Becca comes off the ropes and eats a backbreaker! Galeone powerbombs Becca across the ring into Price!!!! Kick out! Price with an enziguri and snap German! Kick out! Galeone booted off the apron and Price flies way up to hit the dive. Back to the ring, leg lariat off the top!  Price slapping at Galeone, Ryan with a dropkick in the corner and Price’s head snaps off the back of the buckle. Slingshot senton into the ring and Price kicks out again! Huge “Beyond wrestling” chant. Galeone tries a release bomb, Price with a knee! Price hits the flying back head kick! Galeone throws him the birds. Price hits a second one and the big man stays down this time. WOW. The crowd split between booing Price and calling him the Ace. This was incredibly hard hitting. Insanely good back and forth. Alec is really making a case for himself as the Ace and Galeone continues to put on banger after banger in a Beyond ring. This was great.

Sam Laterna is out for IWTV MATCH OF THE YEAR - Daniel Garcia vs Wheeler Yuta from IWTV 100. Yuta accepts on behalf of the pair, saying he’s always wanted to get the votes for one of these so it means a lot.

Match 10: Hot Wheelz (Wheeler Yuta & Tracy Williams) vs The Foundation (Jonathan Gresham & Rhett Titus)

Fun fact, 75% of this match involves a former IWTV champion. A different 75% are members of the Foundation. Will Hot Wheelz have divided alliances? Big “Welcome Back” chant for Gresham! Yuta and Gresham kick us off. Yuta goes grap for grap and keeps the ROH champ on his toes and gets the tag to Sauce. Williams tangles with his friend/foe and clearly has home field advantage. Titus in to try his luck but Yuta is able to stay ahead…until a blind tag by Gresham puts him at a serious disadvantage. Foundation working through several quick tags and keeping Yuta grounded. Titus with a gutwrench suplex. Powerful corner whips. Gresham is feeling confident now but Yuta fires up and they land rapid flurries of slaps to each other. Williams in and throwing knees to the gut and a powerbomb that folded Gresham in half! Hot Wheelz with a slam frogsplash combo for two on Gresham! Yuta twists up the legs and bridges back! Gresham freed up and Rhett in. High angle monkey flip to Yuta! Double chicken wing swing! Powerslam for two! Yuta left alone with the Foundation and he fights valiantly but the numbers game here is a lot. Titus off the top with a knee! Sauce breaks up the pin! Yuta with a flurry of forearms but Titus starches him with a dropkick! Sauce get the tag! Gresham’s in! Sauce with a STF! Yuta cuts off Titus! Gresham powers to the rope! Forearms back and forth! German to Sauce! Another deadlift German! Two count! Gresham going for the kill. Another German! Sauce kicks out! Gresham keeps trying but can’t put him down! Sauce with a lariat! Kick out! Gresham blasted to the back of the head! Kick out! All hell breaks loose! Titus dropkicks Yuta to the floor, somersault to the outside! Gresham tries to end thing but Williams hits a brain buster! Titus breaks it up! Sauce with a DVD! Titus breaks it up! Yuta clears Titus out of the ring with a clothesline. Gresham works to the octopus hold! Sauce is out and gets the ankle! Yuta holds back Titus! Fast reversals and pin combos! Tracy Williams hits this crazy corkscrew gotch piledriver! Gresham stays down! They all shake hands but Sauce indicates he wants a shot at Gresham’s ROH belt. The octopus agrees as they shake on it. Absolutely fantastic tag match. Sauce and Gresham owned the last several minutes, with Yuta and Titus playing keep away with each other but that wasn’t;t bad, they beat the hell out of each other and gave us a good preview of this upcoming championship clash.

Winners: Hot Wheelz

We go to a short intermission as they fill the ring with all the plunder the fans brought tonight.

Here’s a plunder preview, It’s a lot:

My contribution was this horrible thing:

Main Event: Masha Slamovich vs Kimber Lee (Fans Bring the Weapons)

Both are wearing WHITE. Masha has the scythe she choked out Atticus Cogar with. We count down to the new year. RING THE BELL!!!! Brawl right out of the gate! Heavy slaps and the crowd wild! Kim with a facebuster. She swings a cane and it flies into the crowd! Kim with a tack covered hand slapper! Cheese grater to the dome! Kim needs a chair! Lego bat to the gut! Masha whips Kim into the chair! Kim’s busted open! Masha chases her with a BBQ spatula and cuts into her head! Masha cracks her in the back with a frying pan. Hamster ball full of legos! Both are bloodied up! Axe kick to the head! Masha  carves into her forehead again. Kim gets a garbage can over Masha and pounds a guitar into it repeatedly! Kim blasted him with a tack bat! Masha smashed with a piñata full of tacks. German into the legos and tacks! Butterfly German into them again! Masha with a back drop into them. Fisherman’s drive for two! Kim smashed into a chair and takes a driver off the chair to stay down for the three! Fans Bring the Weapons is a Beyond tradition and this was another great chapter in its legacy. Wild and bloody and over the top and comically brutal in the weird weapons created for this one battle.

Winner: Masha Slamovich

Kim offers a hand “I may have paved the way but it’s your turn to take it, girl”. Sam Laterna is here with IWTV breakout star of the year! It’s Masha FRICKIN’ Slamovich! She fires up to say in 2022, she’s out to prove all wrestling is possible for all wrestlers! And that’s it for the 2021 edition of “Heavy Lies the Crown”! This was a great show top to bottom. Apparently 4 and a half hours went by but I was in the zone the whole time. So many main event caliber matches and wars tonight. I was sure Bayne/Adora was the top of my energy but then the second half kept building that up into the chaotic main event. Hell of a way to tell 2021 to f*** off and ring in the new year. Let’s do it even better in 2022. And the next chance is TOMORROW, as the Wrestival continues at 1pm for the debut of Wrestling Open! Until then!
