Beloved actress Betty White passed away today at the age of 99, it was announced minutes ago. White, who won five Emmy Awards over the course of her life, would have turned 100 in just 17 days.
White, who had a renowned career that spanned hundreds of roles dating back to the 1930s, including The Mary Tyler Moore Show and The Golden Girls and was the first woman to produce a network sitcom, Life with Elizabeth.
