IWTV’s WRESTIVAL kicks off this afternoon with Pizza Party Pro, making the trek up to us from New Jersey! The room is full of pizza-themed music (there’s a lot of pizza songs, as it turns out)! This show features a few matches I’m very excited for, most notably one of Avery Good Professional Wrestler’s final matches in a Unmask vs Remask contest between him & Dan Champion against longtime rivals The Outfielders. Rich Palladino is your ring announcer and we’re liiiiiiiive!

Match 1: Little Mean Kathleen vs “The Wrestling Christian” Brother Greatness
Let’s kick this off with the energy Worcester wants! It’s LMK ALL F***IN’ DAY. The crowd starts chanting for “Satan” at BG. I love this as a heel gimmick. He refuses to call LMK “mean” or “Kathleen”. He tries to motivate Kathy to Greatness but ends up eating chops and dropkicks instead. BG catches a crossbody and the big strong man hits a suplex….and instructs the crowd that this is the consequences of being mean. Big back drop and he tries to rile the crowd into chanting “not today Satan”. We chant for Satan against instead. LMK with a suplex and BG runs into a boot and atomic drop. LariatMK and another atomic drop sets up the running stomps in the corner! The meanest Vader bomb (Flavor Bomb?). BG with a back suplex and drops LMK on her dome. LMK looks rocked but kicks out of a running knee. BG off the top, LMK rolls out of the way and hits a Dudley Dog to get the three! This was a lot of fun to start the weekend!
Winner: LMK
Match 2: King Crab vs “Number One” Jaden Newman vs “Whole Ass Dude” Pancakes
Pancakes has been added to this match, Newman and Crab are furious and pummel him at the bell. The alliance doesn’t last as Pancakes baits them into clotheslining each other and runs them into a double rana. Newman recovers on the outside while Pancakes & Crab trade some quick lucha offense. Newman into vulture and German Pancakes.Crab send to the outside while Jaden pummels Newman in the corner. Big suplex. Crab in to German the next suplex attempt. Crab almost gets pinned but Pancakes with a PK wipes out Newman. Crab picks up a superkick into an electric chair. Newman with a doomsday meteora!!!! Newman can’t get the pin! Pancakes run into the bottom buckle. Crab hits a fisherman’s suplex but only gets the two. Crab tosses Jaden but Pancakes is back, tosses Crab and turns into a Newman big boot. pancakes fires up through it, pounds Jaden into the corner and tries to suplex him. Jaden rolls up the suplex and Pancakes is stuck for the three count. Even the ref is surprised by this! Good match overall though the finish DID come off a little weirdly. Ichiban is 1-0 on the Wrestival!
Winner: Jaden Newman
Match 3: “Chocolate Thunder” Karen Bam Bam vs “The Queen Bee” Brooke Valentine
Crowd is hot for BamBam, who poses and frustrates Valentine. The crowd is clearly in Brooke’s head too as she can’t stop engaging with the ringside folks and Karen keeps putting her down. Can I just say I’m loving Referee Shin Thomas? Bam Bam tries to walk down a powdered Valentine but gets run into the post. Brooke pulling the hair and manages to drop Bam Bam to the mat. Trading pie faces until Bam Bam hits a big back drops. Trading chops on the get up. Karen with a wheel kick reversal! Brooke kicks out the shoulder and chops up Bam Bam, setting her up for a missed cannonball. Ow! Karen puts on her conductor’s hat, heads up for a Banzai Drop and that take the life right out of Valentine. Crowd was super into this.
Winner: Karen BamBam
Match 4: Violence Is Forever (Kevin Ku & Dominic Garrini) vs Kings Of The District (Jordan Blade & Eel O’Neal) vs The Mane Event (Jay Lyon & Midas Black) vs Salt The Earth (Matt Makowski & Travis Huckabee)
I was pretty over the moon when I saw this match announced. Chaos at the bell. VIF and STE clear the ring to get to a big fight. TME tries their Lion ring spot but Ku breaks the ring. More like Kevin Boooooo! Order is finally restored, Makowski in to suplex the heck out of Midas and Huckabee gets to working over the wrist and arm. Ku in and Midas Black is just getting pummeled until he gets the tag to Lyon. Lyon clears STE and VIF until Jordan Blade hits the ring. Lyon is in trouble but catches and slams Eel. TME with a 619/Lionsault/frogsplash combo to Garrini. Handspring elbow/superkick combo to Ali for two. Midas tries a slingshot but spears himself into a knee strike from Garrini. STE with a gory special knee strike. Ku gets smashed before KOTD gets in to clear the ring. Midas hits the arm drag spear this time on KOTD! Makowski with a judo sweep to Lyon. Slingshot falcon arrow to Eel. Ku hit with a side Russian leg sweep. Eel with a blue Thunder bomb! Garrini with a driver! Blade hits a saito to Garrini. Mane Event with a flurry to Blade and they in break the Lion ring to allow the somersault suicide dive to their opponents. Eel with a quick flurry to get Lyon to dragon screw Midas. Ku pulls out Jordan Blade to prevents their finish but Mane Event hits a pop up X factor to Eel. Ku can’t get there in time to break up the pin and TME gets the pin! Wild match with 4 teams I LOVE. Thoroughly enjoyed this.
Winner: The Mane Event
Match 5: Rockin’ Robbie Radke (w/ Big Dust & Myles Millennium) vs Big Game Leroy
Leroy and Ref Shin are transfixed by his Nintendo Switch. Radke yelling at him to pause the game. Leroy pauses the game and everyone freezes. Ah yes, I love a GOOD pause unpause gimmick. Leroy working this match with a real live turned on Switch in hand. Radke finally turns this into wrestling and blasts a lariat for Two. Big Dust is yakking at ringside constantly . Big pop up sitout bomb for another two. Leroy hits the pause again and hits a pair of dropkicks to a paused Radke who flies back when the pause is turned off. Radke seems pretty into this match. Big Dust gets his hands on the Switch to stop all this BS. Radke with a big slam and it’s Game Over for Leroy.
Winner: Robbie Radke
I’m posting this because it’s a brilliant pause/unpause spot but also to make my game friends feel anxiety for this Switch. @TheWrestival #wrestival @PizzaPartyPro pic.twitter.com/MaRq91rtaU

Radke and crew beat down Leroy after the bell. Kennedi Copeland is out to make the save and take on Myles Millenium! They talk Kennedi down and invite her to Arby’s after. She wants the meats but Myles blindsides her.
Match 6: Kennedi Copeland vs Myles Millennium (w/ Big Dust & Robbie Radke)
Kennedi is getting her shots in but Myles is mostly in control here. Big suplex sends her across the ring. Radke and Dust keep distracting or outright taking shots that keep Copeland on the backpedal. Myles with a pile of rapid stomps to the head but only gets two on it. Kennedi hits a jaw jacker, she dodges a superkick but has to kick out of a snap ddt. Myles hurts his own knee stomping Copeland and Radke gets to choking. Leroy is back and gets his switch, pauses the game, turns the ref to see the cheating and big Dust and Radke get tossed out of the room. Copeland hits a running knee, a knee drop to the arm, a bulldog and a page Turner for two. Myles hits a very overt AA but Kennedi kicks out! Myles running in with a spear and eats a knee! Copeland dodges a pedigree and flips into an armbar that Myles is forced to tap to. I liked the two match story they told here though this second piece might have gone a little long.
Winner: Kennedi Copeland
Main Event: UnMask vs ReMask: The Outfielders (Boomer Hatfield & Shea McCoy) vs Dan Champion and Avery Good Professional Wrestler (2 out of 3 falls)
Will Boomer have to unmask or will Avery have to don the mask and moniker of Dasher Hatfield again? If this is the last ride of Avery Good, you should know he is THE BEST THE BEST THE BEST THE BEST THE BEST THE BEST THE BEST THE BEST THE BEST THE BEST THE BEST THE BEST THE BEST THE BEST THE BEST THE BEST.
Fall 1: Big Dan brutalizes Boomer with a shoulder block. Boomer with a headbutt to the gut and Dan powders. Avery in but it’s a ploy and Champion blasts a lariat from behind. Tag to McCoy and the Outfielders are able to drop Champion and butterfly those arms for a near submission. Good tags in and tells Shea to lay down for him to pin. They ain’t having THAT. Avery gets punked and takes two for flinching. Hip attacks from McCoy in the corner. Shea with a sliding thumb up and Good just pokes the eyes. Bulldog out of the corner and McCoy kicks out. Dan with a crossbody. Big body block as Shea tries to get out of trouble. Good with an abdominal stretch and keeping Boomer inches away from the tag while dropping elbows to Shea’s midsection. Shea hits a knee but Good gets the ankle and keeps the tag from happening. Big Dan in to lay some more hurt, big suplex for two! Shea eating slams from both opponents over and over, screaming in pain. Shea refuses to give up and hits a cutter after slipping out of an overconfident Dan Champion’s lift. Boomer in but Dan just dumps him out, forcing Shea back in due to Lucha rules. Shea keeps out of danger, hitting a stunner on Dan! Good in and hits a DDT to Shea for the first fall.
Fall 2: Shea is outside the ring recovering. Boomer picked up by his face and smashed into the mat and chucked back outside. Shea barely crawls back in and taking another beatdown. Shea rages out of the corner and stunners Champion again. It doesn’t last, Shea eats another suplex and Good tries to take the cover. Shea with an Unprettier! Boomer’s in! Dan splashes his own partner! Bummer with a tilt a whirl DDT and a dive to Avery! High angle crossbody to Avery! Belly to belly overhead toss! Brain buster! Champion breaks the pin! Dan turns into a kick from Shea as Boomer dives out to Good! Dan’s starched for the three!
Fall 3: “This is family business. I’ll handle it” says Avery steps in against Boomer. Trading slaps, forearms and punches in the center. Boomer with a dropkick reversal! Backdrop Clothesline comb from Good and Champion. Pop up German to Hatfield! Shea hits a shining wizard to Champion but Good in there to prevent the loss. Good kicks out of a slam. Dan kicks out of a Code Red. Outfielders own the ring but Good tosses Boomer off the top to the floor. Good slingshots in with a cradle to Shea for two. Gory Bomb into the buckles! boomer makes the save! Hatfield with a corner dropkick for two. He tries a basement rana but Good catches it. Boomer tries a guillotine but Good gets a suplex up. He twists Boomer’s mask and hits a snap Ddt for a close two! DDT to the top buckle! Boomer throws the double birds before Good hits a DDT and gets the pin. Great drama to this match, especially as my first PWInsider reports were for CHIKARA. I’d hoped Avery might return to the mask for the end of this run but I’d say that door is closed for good now.
Winners: Avery Good & Dan Champion
It’s time to unmask Boomer. Shea runs off Good and Dan with a hockey stick but he still has to unmask. He takes it off and hugs Shea.
Chills. This is like a whole chapter of my wrestling fandom and early reports finally closing. @TheWrestival #WRESTIVAL @PizzaPartyPro pic.twitter.com/y26xGIeyg4

Avery Good comes back into the ring to offer a hug…which he walks away from at the moment Boomer comes in. THE WORST THE WORST THE WORST THE WORST! This chapter of Boomer is done. New Year, New You. And that’s it for Pizza Party Pro. I had a lot of fun on this one!
The Wrestival continues at 8pm with the Uncharted Territory Season Three Finale! Until then!
