BRYAN IN AEW, DOES VINCE DO ONE THING BETTER THAN TONY, WHY SMACKDOWN IS THE A SHOW AND MORE

Did Daniel Bryan (or whatever order his name is in now) saying he loves Vince but he was too overprotective of him throw up massive red flags to you as it did to me? From what I can tell Tony Khan has zero regard for the safety of his performers with chair shots to the head, blading, bleeding, skulls to the concrete etc, and I am less bummed as a WWE fan that Bryan is gone and more concerned that he’s going to seriously hurt himself so Tony Khan can get some buzz for his product.

I wouldn’t say Khan has no concern for his wrestlers.  I think that is going too far.  I think it’s fairer to say that he likes old school aspects of wrestling and hasn’t considered the damage that things like chair shots to the head can do to a wrestler.  I also think he lets the wrestlers kind of do what they want to do, whereas Vince doesn’t.  On things like head shots and blading, I agree with Vince.

Watching CM Punk return and then Bryan Danielson show up at All-Out were awesome moments, and part of what made them so fun to me were the familiarity of the music. Do you think it's fair to say that Vince McMahon won't be too quick to license any third-party music in the future after seeing Punk and Danielson use the same songs (or at least part of it) in a different promotion?

At this point, I don’t think he has any interest in paying for a song for a wrestler.  With Punk, for instance, there really wasn’t anywhere for him to take the song that could be seen as competition.  With AEW, that has changed.

Why did Vince buy EVOLVE?  Why was their library so attractive to him if he's just going to put it on the far corners of the network?  It can't be getting many viewers at all let alone people subscribing to the network just to watch it.  It cannot be making him any money so why buy it?

He didn’t buy it to air old shows.  He bought it to gain access to the footage of people who wrestled there.  For instance, if Austin Theory becomes a big star, Vince has footage from when he was young to use at a later date.

For years, WWE felt Raw was the A Show and Smackdown was the B Show. While I do not fault them for making Smackdown the A Show because of being on network television, I really do not recall a talent and entertainment gap this wide. Roman has been outstanding since turning heel as well as his pairing with Heyman and the Uso's, Becky Lynch and Brock Lesnar return and are put on Smackdown.

The main thing that makes Smackdown difference is Reigns/Heyman.  They have more creative control and those aren’t force to perform the dreck that creative comes up with for most of the other wrestlers.  Plus, Raw is just way too long with the extra hour.  That hurts it as well.

If the WWE isn't investing their time into their product, why should the USA Network invest money in the WWE?

Again, see above.  The one thing that makes Smackdown better is Reigns, and now Lesnar being there.  If they were on Raw, it would be the better show.  NBCU pays for the WWE product.  They know what it is, and have for decades.
