Beyond Wrestling “Uncharted Territory: Season 3, Episode 13”

12/23/21 - Worcester, MA

Streaming on IWTV.live

It’s the one night of the year we’ll tolerate all these Christmas songs that Coral is blasting over the PA. With so much of the season finale in flux, tonight’s penultimate episode is here to set the stage for the season finale next week at The Wrestival! On deck for tonight is the much anticipated and often delayed rematch between Wheeler Yuta & Matt Makowski! Paul Crockett & slaughterhouse foreman Sidney Bakabella are on commentary. Rich Palladino is your announcer. And we’re live on IWTV! <cue Suicidal Tendencies>

Alec Price is out here to kick things off and grabs the mic. No Becca in Price’s corner tonight, I see. Apparently, he was down in Orlando and liked it better than us GAHBAHGE clowns in Worcester. But next week, Price is the on every day of the Wrestival…and at the end? He’s defending his Limitless Wrestling championship. Let’s get to the fighting!

Match 1: “The Prize” Alec Price vs Carlos Romo

Romo takes down Price early but the Prize reverses into holds of his own. Romo turns a surfboard into a pin attempt and frustrates Price quickly. This is not the game Price wants to be playing, as Romo grapevines the legs and makes his opponent swings upwards ineffectually. Alec runs his mouth and comes in hot but gets slammed down and eats a stiff spine kick. Price and the mat meet several times as the crowd asks “WHAT HAPPENED?!?” Finally Alec hits a dropkick to take control and stomps out the knee of Romo. Running discus clothesline to the corner. Romo tries to fire up several times but Price cuts it off. Romo finally hits a jawjacker and a dropkick. Price tosses out and Romo missiles a dive right out to him. Romo goes for a moonsault but Price intercepts him. Price superkicks the legs out and springs to the top for a double stomp out of the tree of woe! Romo kicks out! Price tries the step up back kick but Romo catches the leg and sinks in a STF! Price drags himself out of danger. Price tries a slingshot but Romo hits a double stomp to the back of the head and a piledriver! Price kicks out! Moonsault from the top! Price kicks out! Price shoves off a bulldog, hits a flip neckbreaker and comes out of the corner with the step up back kick to the head for the pin in this super competitive opener! This was great!

Winner: Alec Price

Match 2: Club Cam (Cam Zagami, Bobby Orlando & Richard Holliday) vs Teddy Goodz, Little Mean Kathleen and Waves & Curls (Traevon Jordan & Jaelyn Brandyn)

So this is supposed to be an 8-man tag but I only see 3 members of Club Cam…who is their fourth? Goodz, LMK and Waves & Curls are in their most festive holiday outfits. Rich Palladino announces that BOBBY JUNIOR (yes, Orlando’s stuffed shee—er, goat) is on Club Cam’s official team. How dare DC let Club Cam be so OP?!? Holliday tags in immediately because he views LMK as an easy target (I mean, last week was brutal). Goodz tags in against the AirPod God but he wants none of that and lets Orlando take the beatdown. Bobby Junior “interferes” and Club Cam winds up in a giant wave dance…except for Holliday who wants NOTHING to do with that. Meanwhile back in the ring, Bobby Orlando is taking pummeling. He finally gets a tag to Holliday who has been chomping at the bit to unload some hurt on Jaelyn. Club Cam gives Brandyn the hurtin’ until Bobby Orlando, full of unearned confidence, fails to pin Jaelyn after some bobbyslams, eats a superkick and…Holliday cuts it off but eats a dropkick! LMK is in and beats the heck out of Cam. Running double stomp! Electric chair leg drop to Cam for two! Holliday cuts all this off and brawls with Good with the outside…and they disappear through the curtain. Cam tries to steal a pin on LMK but Jordan catches him in the act. Orlando comes in with his goat but eats a wave check and everyone stacks the pin on him for the three!

Winners: Goodz, LMK and Waves & Curls

Match 3: “The Punjabi Lion” Jora Johl vs “The Professional” Rhett Titus

Can Johl break the curse of losing matches to Titus tonight? Can he escape the wrath of the dropkick that has felled him twice before? Rhett offers the handshake but Johl doesn’t let it go and proceeds to batter Titus with clotheslines, strikes and a butterfly backbreaker early. Big running powerslam for two! Titus is getting rolled here by a highly motivated Punjabi Lion. Titus makes space and comes off the top but gets caught. He claps the ears free but Johl hits a headbutt and swarms with punches. Titus hits a corner clotheslines but Johl picks him up for a torture rack cutter. Titus is hugging the ropes for dear life. Knee to the  dome. Johl hits an inside out superplex! Titus caught up in a fireman’s carry and resorts to ripping at the ear. Johl staggering and Titus rebounds and hits the dropkick them at suddenly ends the match. He offers the handshake again but a frustrated Johl just rolls out and leaves him hanging. I feel like this dropkick has ended more matches in Beyond than F5’s have.

Winner: Rhett Titus

Match 4: Kennedi Copeland vs “Megasus” Megan Bayne

Kennedi thinks she might have a chance tonight. I have my doubts. Bayne runs her right into the corner and the pain train is rolling unchecked. Copeland gets kicked, slammed, sentoned, leg dropped, clotheslined & belly to belly suplexed through multiple pin attempts. Copeland tries to reverse stuff but Bayne is a predator tonight…until she wipes out her knee on the buckle and whiffs a follow up kneedrop. Copeland has a target and chops Megasus down and hits a running knee for two! Crossbody off the top…kick out! Bayne tries to pick her up into the tombstone but gets rana’d to the corner. Big clothesline from Megasus and Copeland is tombstones for the emphatic three count. A dazed Copeland mutters as she exits the ring “Did I hurt her or did she hurt me?”.

Winner: Megan Bayne

Match 5: Brick City Boyz (JCruz & Victor Chase) vs The Miracle Generation (Kylon King & Dustin Waller)

We hate the Brick City Boyz and regale them with chants of “S*** City Boys”. Crowd is hype AF for the debuting Miracle Generation. Cruz is frustrated early but Walker’s speed and technical skill. King in with a cannonball to Chase, who thought he would fare better. Wheelbarrow splash followed into a running shooting star for two! Chase with a big uppercut and it’s time for Cruz to go on the offense….wait no, Waller cuts that off, sends them both out to the floor and sentons over the post to the floor! Chase trips up a handspring on Waller and Cruz lands a big senton. Let the beatdown begin! Cruz with a gutwrench suplex. BCB with stomps and chokes through a few tags. Waller trying the comeback but Chase just kicks his gut out. Double suplex for two. Cruz with a series of Germans and Waller is just ragdollin’. Cru gets distracted briefly and Waller almost steals a rollup! Waller oats for that. Waller escapes the doomsday elbow drop, King gets the tag and goes wild on Brick City! Cruz suplexed right on his head. Waller slingshots in with a flying elbow! Brick City retreats to the outside, Waller caught in a crossbody and Kylon with a near actually suicidal dive into all of them. Jeeeeesus. Brick City goes house on King back on the ring. Big dropkick and suplex out of the corner for two! Waller with a handspring cutter! King with a suplex to Chase…Waller with a frog splash! That’s it. One Two- Cruz makes the save! Cruz and King going blow for blow in the center while Chase recovers. King fighting them both off but eats a tota elimination style back elbow and sweep. King escapes the finish! Rollup for two! Cruz gets King back up in the electric chair, Chase off the top but King rolls him up for the three before Chase can stop it!!! It’s a Christmas Miracle!!!!

Winners: The Miracle Generation

Match 6: Ryan Galeone vs Masha Slamovich

Well, here comes the carnage portion of tonight’s show! Masha comes in but Galeone is forced to remind her that he’s nearly two feet taller and can absorb her best shots before slamming her to the mat. Masha entices him into a strike battle but he just takes a pile of forearms and blasts her to the ground repeatedly. Masha finally dodges a clothesline into a sleeper…but Galeone gets out of that easily and catches a crossbody into a backbreaker for two. Masha trips Galeone into the ropes and gets a kick in before running into a devastating lariat. Masha dodges a charge in the corner and hits a series of kicks to the head that drop the big man. Galeone sent to the outside and Masha somersaults off the top to him. Masha tries to come off the top but Galeone picks her up with one hand and press slams her head into a knee. Masha throwing forearms from the mat and Galeone clubs her. Big headbutt to the jaw from Galeone but Masha is throwing more shots! Masha with a big boot but runs HARD into a flying knee! Slamovich off the ropes and a one hand press slam thuds her off the mat but only for two. Galeone up to the top…Masha gets up there and tosses him down. Huge lariat! Masha with an Olympic slam! Galeone kicks out! Masha with a pair of yakuza kicks but eats a giant dropkick. Galeone back up to the top! Masha out of harm’s way. Shining wizard! Piledriver! An angry Galeone stands right up! Masha chopping him down with kicks. An axe kick and a second piledriver puts Galeone to sleep to close this war out!

Winner: Masha Slamovich

We’re going to the main event and—“Heaven Is a Place on Earth” blares over the system. It can’t be?!? ANTHONY GREENE HAS RETURNED TO BEYOND!!! Greene is here tonight to say that he doesn’t have an opponent for the Limitless Wrestling and Randy Carver let him call his shot. Who does Greene want to fight? One Half of the Prize City Hooligans, Al—BECCA. Wait what?

Main Event: Wheeler Yuta vs “Weapon X” Matt Makowski

Makowski tries to bribe the crowd with Santa bag Christmas presents but he does it to Jackson 5’s “Santa Claus is Coming to Town” and my retail holiday season PTSD kicked in and all I was able to do was throw double birds. I think Worcester still hates Makowski but I REALLY hate him right now. Anyways, Yuta is here and I sure hope he wins so he can get another shot to regain HIS IWTV championship. Can Yuta beat the man who went 3-0 in the GRRR earlier this year? Yuta and Makowski go hold for hold on the mat, scrambling between submissions and reversals. Really good sequence of monkey flip variations into an ankle locks in a sequence of arm drags to a stalemate. These two KNOW each other. Makowski pulls at the nose and hits a cheap back elbow into a some strikes. Yuta dodges the butterfly suplex into a lariat that would make Hot Sauce proud. Yuta slaps on an octopus stretch but can’t lock it in all the way. He claws are Matt’s abs. Makowski breaks out and hits the butterfly release suplex. Belly to belly elsuplex out of the corner. Makowski tries a showtime kick but Yuta ducks and grapevines the legs! Makowski gets the ropes (and his freedom). Makowski throwing leg kicks and tags Yuta right in the nethers. Yuta falls out of the ring in pain. The ref doesn’t call it because it wasn’t BLATANT but Yuta is messed up now. Makowski hot shots him on the top rope. He snaps Yuta’s arm back and tries to wrench it apart on the rope. Makowski working over that elbow. Yuta hits a good slap but Makowski crumbles him with a chop. Big slam into the arm. Yuta kicks out. Makowski stretches Yuta in the air and tries a reverse dragon sleeper. Yuta is in deep trouble but manages to kick Matt to the floor. Yuta dives out but Makowski catches him into a suplex to the wood. Makowski sets up a chair….Yuta bounces his face off it. Makowski with a drop toe hold gives Yuta a taste of it too before cannonballing him through the entrance curtain, which almost tumbles the whole thing down. Makowski drags him back in for some more Arm punishment. He tries a Pazuzu bomb again? Yuta out and hits a crossbody! Enziguri! Flying forearm! Flying elbow to the head! Yuta kips up with a basement dropkick and dive that hits the mark this time. Yuta misses a double stomp but Makowski turns into an Olympic slam and has to kick out! Makowski with a judo toss and head kick. Yuta rebounds and eats a spear. Makowski with a Fireman’s Carry Uranage! Yuta with a German for two….but it realllllllllly looked like three. Yuta keeps going despite the crowd protest. Makowski crotches him on the top rope, big chest chop. Makowski with the spin out slam from the top right into a cross armbreaker! Yuta fights the move that slayed him last time and gets a foot to the rope! Makowski dropping bombs but Yuta with a desperation Superkick! Yuta picks him up and tries the Yu-Tap! Makowski reverses it into Yuta’s own sub! Yuta with the rollup attempt and Germans Makowski into his own cross armbreaker! Makowski out but gets slammed! Battle to the top! Makowski with a sort of Spanish Fly from the top into the cross armbreaker and Yuta has to tap out from this devastation. Makowski is your #1 contender for the IWTV belt next week at the season finale.

Winner: Matt Makowski

Makowski grabs the mic. The day is here and he’s been through a who’s who of independent wrestling. Next week, he comes into the WRESTIVAL and walks out the new champ. We’ll see.
