I just saw Kevin Owen's re-signed with WWE - I think this was a smart move by him. People said he might  have wanted to go work with his friends at AEW. If I look at AEW right now, their roster is way too large for only 3 hours of TV per week. I understand they have Dark and Elevation, but I don't know how many people watch those shows. WWE has 7 hours of TV and got rid of many superstars these last few years. Unless you're a CM Punk or Bryan Danielson, going to AEW right now might seems like a place where I will work a lighter schedule, but possibly fight for screen time (although I can work other promotions). Thoughts?

First if KO went to AEW, screen time wouldn’t have been an issue.  They would have gotten him on TV, no doubt.  With that said, he’s in his late 30s and has a lot of miles on the body.  I am sure he got a great deal from WWE since he had the AEW leverage to use.  I think at this point in his life, WWE is the better place for him.  He has built a career there and even though he may be on more shows, he won’t probably won’t have to put the miles on his body bumping in WWE that he would have in AEW. At the end of the day, if he is happy he made the right choice.

What do you think of AEW superstars (and others) referencing Tony Khan all the time without him being an on air authority figure? It's almost played as insider info, but not really in the world of 2021. He is very upfront in promoting AEW beyond the TV show itself, but isn't truly a character on tv - yet. AEW is still relatively new, but I can't help but think he will be pulled into an Eric Bischoff and Vince McMahon role down the line. I don't know if I should be rooting for a TK character not, but I feel it coming either way. Thoughts?

He has said he will never be a character on his TV show so I will take him at his word.  As long as he is referenced by talent as the owner/authority figure and only makes occasional, if any, appearances, I am OK with the references.  Pretty much everyone watching AEW knows who he is and what his role in the company is.

Hi there. I'm a HUGE fan of your website, so much so I've been proud to call myself an Elite member. I'm dying to know-is it true that Candice LaRae and Johnny Gargano really wrestled each other in an intergender match? Keep up the FANTASTIC work and I hope you guys NEVER stop doing what you love!

First off, thanks for the kind words and the support.  The answer is yes they did, for Absolute Intense Wrestling at WrestleRager 2014.  You can watch the match below.  As an added perk, Eddie Kingston is commentary.

Has WWE amended their policy of paying for rehab for any former superstar since the inception of AEW? I wonder if Vince is footing the bill for Jon Moxley? Tony Khan seems like an awesome guy and I would think he would do the same for anyone in need of help.

I haven’t asked about it but WWE pays for rehab for their own talents and former wrestlers.  In this case, I would think AEW is taking care of Moxley while he is out since he works for them and Tony Khan is very good to his talent.

Why has the WWE discontinued pillow fights and costume matches for the women?

They used to get them from the My Pillow guy and he has fallen on hard times and can't supply them anymore.
