12/16/21 - Worcester, MA
Live on IWTV
Remember that time VSK & Mark Sterling thought it would be Smart idea to ambush Rickey Shane Page after his match with SLADE…prompting SLADE to come save the day? Yeah, it’s gonna need to be WHATEVER IT TAKES to get them out of the hell they’ve created for themselves tonight. Paul Crockett & The Papa of Payola himself Sidney Bakabella are on commentary tonight. “Sexy” Rich Palladino is our announcer tonight!
Spotlight Match: Mortar vs Armani Kayos
Mortar is officially repping Sidney Bakabella’s Slaughterhouse! FIIIIINALLY!!! Mortar throwing some wild strikes but Kayos ducks and weaves away. Kayos is staying ahead of Mortar’s power and dipping his way to a two count. Mortar with an eye poke, a body splash ambush and a lariat for two. I can hear Sidney on commentary and he said Max Smashmaster. <hype intensifies> IYKYK. Big whip from mortar and another near fall. Kayos counters with a back elbow and lariat. Big back drop and a spike ddt…Mortar kicks out! Kayos popped onto the top but misses a splash from the top. Mortar with a slingshot dropkick and a F5! Armani rolls out to save the match. Mortar drags Mayos back in and hits a combo of strikes and lariat. Kayos dodges and hits a Rack Attack for the pin!
Winner: Armani Kayos
And it’s time to kick off the show! <cue Suicidal Tendencies>
Match 1: “Hot Sauce” Tracy Williams vs “Legit” Leyla Hirsch
Great split in the crowd for both these competitiors. Leyla is here to grapple with Williams, his favorite game. Leyla does a great job wriggling through Tracy to apply holds but Willams is keeping this a back and forth hold for hold affair. Leyla tries a Muta lock but Sauce chokes her out of it to a stalemate. Headlock takeover by Williams but he can’t hold it and gets trapped in a head scissor…out to an ankle lock! Leyla tries a sunset flip pin, Williams picks the ankle and forces her to the rope. Both are smiling but taunting each other in their competition. Sauce with a senton into a grapevine. Cool transition. Williams gets a cravat and refuses to let it go…Leyla out, flips him into the corner, running double knees for two! Leyla with hard kicks to the spine and Williams is enraged. Big clubbing lariats on the ropes from Hirsch but Hot Sauce lands a big chop of his own and a swing back drop. They’re both tiring as the strikes and repeated submissions are clearly wearing them down. Sauce escapes a cross armbreaker into a gutwrench sitout powerbomb for two! Big clubbing forearms from Sauce but Leyla is here to trade. Williams tripped up over the top rope and Leyla comes running with a suicide dive. Sauce throws her in but she rebounds and hits another! Leyla with a moonsault press and a basement lariat for two! Leyla grabs the waist but Sauce with a back elbow drops her. Leyla gets the waist back and hits a German for two! Leyla heads up for a moonsault, Sauce catches her there….she tries another moonsault press but Williams catches it and hits a DVD for a close two. Crowd loud for this back and forth. He tries a piledriver but Leyla beats him into the corner. She comes running, ddt to the top buckle…two count transition into a STF! Leyla reverses it to a pin! Saito suplex onto Williams! Running boot! Leyla back up to the top! Moonsault connects! Tracy Williams is out at two! Leyla comes running and Sauce catches, rolls and slaps on the STF again and Leyla has to tap. Fantastic war here. They are all smiles and hug after the match. This was great.
Winner: Tracy Williams
LMK is here to beat up Cam Zagami but he doesn’t appear after his music is played three times. But you know who is here: Richard Holliday. And oh god he has a microphone. He understands he’s not Club Cam but he’s been keeping tabs on Beyond in his absence. And he doesn’t understand why Worcester is cheering for this comedy act in Goodz & LMK. The crowd remembers how much we hate Richard Holliday and boo him mercilessly. Holliday won’t leave, he’s here to put LMK on her back for three. Let’s get this show on the road. We have streamers to shoot for Kathleen!
Match 2: Little Mean Kathleen (w/ Teddy Goodz) vs “The Air Pod God” Richard Holliday
LMK taunts Holliday with a fan’s “Boo This Man” sign until the Air Pod God rips it to shreds. Boooooooo! Ring the bell, LMK lays down but rolls away when he tries to cover her. He tries to convince the wild LMK to lay down but she rolls away again. Holliday calls her cute for pretending to be a wrestler, she slaps him. He face plants her, hits the 2007 and gets the three right away. Honestly, this was great fun. Goodz is tending to LMK and Holliday attacks him and hits another 2007 to lay of the mayor of Cojo’s Toy World as well.
Winner: Richard Holliday
Match 3: Brick City Boyz (JCruz & Victor Chase) vs The Hispanic Mechanics (Jos A & Jos B)
Well now, Worcester just fell in love fast and hard with Jos A & Jos B. We also still really hate BCB so that helps. Chase & B trade power to a stalemate. B hits a monkey flip and twists up the arm before eating a stiff punch. B cartwheels out of a flip, and drops Chase on his back again! A tags in and frustrates Chase with atomic drops and a crossbody for two. Cruz gets the tag in but Jos A is riding the waves of love and flapjacks Chase onto his own partner. B tags in and suplexes A onto Cruz for two. This has been a great showcase for the Mechanics so far…until BCB gets the ref distracted and double teams the heck out of A. They keep A grounded but he manages to throw Cruz out, drop Chase and get the tag to B. Big backdrop to Chase into the rope. Cruz dropped over the top to the apron. Famouser! Cruz breaks it up but knee drops his partner! B taking a corner charge, back drop combo…A breaks up the pin! The Mechanics hit a fallaway ddt but Cruz is out. They try the same on Chase but he escapes. B drops Chase but misses a springing moonsault. BCB hit the Brick End on B to get the pin. This was a lot of good times, hoping to see the Mechanics back here down the road. We still hate the Brick City Boyz (even if they are pretty good).
Winners: Brick City Boyz
Match 4: Davienne vs Kennedi Copeland
Copeland with a Thez press right away and dropping Davienne repeatedly. Pair of sentons for two! Kennedi comes running, Davy with a backbreaker. Big chops in the corner. Davienne seems to be collecting dollars from the crowd for chops? Copeland whipped to the corner and splashed. Davienne is finding her vicious groove but Copeland dodges another corner splash and crossbodies off the top! Flurry of chops and forearms from Copeland. Page Turner to Davienne for two! Copeland tries a powerbomb but Davienne powers her right over into a deeeeeeo Boston crab. Kennedi fights it to the rope! Davienne works back to the crab but Kennedi rolls her up, stacks it and gets the three!
Winner: Kennedi Copeland
Match 5: Masha Slamovich vs Matt Makowski
Masha has a different sort of violence on the menu tonight, after her bloody battles in the last few weeks. The crowd very much loves Masha and very much has turned on Makowski. Masha wants a fight and Makowski gives her a grappling lesson. Masha reverses him and takes
Makowski down but his MMA background helps him stay ahead of the Russian Dynamite.Masha gets a cross armbreaker on after a judo toss but Makowski endures and wraps up her arm and shoulder. Big slam for a two. Masha is taking a beating here but she hasn’t lost her resolve. Makowski with a butterfly suplex sends them both flying through the air. Masha with a bridging pin but Makowski reverses into a rear choke. Masha flips into a pin again but Makowski just starts kicking her. Masha misses a spinning kick and Matt dumps her on her face. Makowski keeps trying to submit her but has to pin out of these pin reversals. He comes in frustrated and Masha uses the chance to pepper him with knees and kicks for two. She tries a package piledriver but Makowski reverses in a cross armbreaker. Another pin reversal! Kick out! Masha fights off the rope into another cross armbreaker! Makowski tries a gory bomb but Masha rolls that up too! Pin attempts into a double clothesline. Double down. Trading shots in the center as they make it back up. Masha flurries and hits Germans…Makowski wrapping up the arm again…he picks her up and powerbombs her down into the armbar! Masha skitters to get a leg on the rope. Makowski stalking but Masha is furious and refuses to stop, Masha with her own flying armbar but he gets the rope. Makowski with a spinning head kick, and hits a Pazuzu Bomb off the top?!?! Masha kicks out! Deadlift triple powerbombs by Makowski and Masha is giving him the finger. More powerbombs until the ref stops the match entirely. Masha refuses to die and still crawls out of the ring under her own power. Maybe a little longish but Makowski looked like a sadistic killer here and Masha is proved again that you have to damn near kill her to beat her.
Winner: Matt Makowski
Makowski grabs the mic and says that next week, WHEELER YUTA IS DEAD. We’re finally getting this match!
Match 6: Dan Barry vs Vita VonStarr
That madman Dan Barry (who literally opened for Mick Foley tonight in HARTFORD before getting here for the match. Road warrior, that dude) is getting a taste of revenge on Vincent tonight against the Righteous’ Vita VonStarr. Vita tries to hypnotize Dan with her dancing but he’s having none of that and easily takes her down over and over. Arm twist takedown and a senton to the arm! VonStarr tries a monkey flip but Barry gets her in a giant swing and grapevines the legs. Vita does and old school rope walk into a lucha arm drag. Lariat for two. Moonsault for another. Dan looking tired but he hits a backbreaker and powerbomb for two. Vita tries a poisonrana but Dan just blasts her back to the canvas and slams her down again to get the three count. Vita is out of the ring at almost the same moment Dan is and follows him back to the back cackling. This was super one sided but VonStarr took her beatdown well, it was really more about her character and her desire to keep pushing Dan Barry into his dark place. So Dan beat Vita or was this just an exercise to see how far he would take the violence for his revenge? Who knows but is fired up to take out Vincent at Heavy Lies the Crown!
Winner: Dan Barry
Main Event: The Living Dead Boys (SLADE & Rickey Shane Page) vs Whatever It Takes (VSK & Smart Mark Sterling)
Time for the murder of the week! The ref has to protect WIT from SLADE before his partner shows up. RSP arrives (what is he wearing???) and Mark Sterling gets the mic to remind them this is a WRESTLING match and not hardcore. Sterling with a clean escape from the grasp of SLADE but he’s too scared of the man from Rikers Island and powders in fear. SLADE keeps slamming Sterling down and Mark keeps complaining about non existent cheating. If that’s what he wants, The LDB does some blatant double teams before Sterling runs to the corner for VSK to save him. SLADE outwrestles VSK but a blatant eye poke gives VSK the advantage. A big chop only enrages SLADE. VSK dodging the power strikes but gets clotheslines over the top. SLADE swats off a dropkick and hits a big lariat. SLADE grabs a chair and WIT runs for cover. RSP calms SLADE down while WIT hides behind the garbage cans. RSP tags in. unsurprisingly, he outworks both of them and flip me up to his feet. RSP with an eye poke and reminds VSK “I used to be a baaaaaad guy.” SLADE in to torture VSK and dare him to tag Sterling in….who wants none of it and drops off the apron to avoid his fate. SLADE throws VSK into the corner and forces the tag to happen. Sterling slaps SLADE. Great idea dumdum. VSK ambushes SLADE and takes out the legs of the mad man. WIT stomping out SLADE in the corner….but he quickly powers back like the Jason Vorhees of the northeast indies he is. RSP tags in and fakes VSK with an enziguri before throwing him corner to corner. Sterling pulls VSK out of danger and RSP crashes into danger. WIT keeping RSP in the corner and tearing at his face and neck. SLADE’s rage causes RSP some extra pain as the ref gets preoccupied. Sterling preening but eats a snap suplex. VSK tries his luck and meets the same fate. Double suplex to WIT! SLADE tags in and it’s murder time! Lariats, suplexes and power slams given out with reckless abandon. Double hand chokebomb to VSK and Sterling makes the save. WIT with a tandem spike piledriver. He kicks out and is back to his feet. VSK distracts the ref. Sterling does a Guerrero chair fake out spot. The ref gets bumped and all hell breaks loose! LDB grabs a door and more chairs to set up in the ring. Sterling at their mercy in the ring. BSK saves him from a plex through a door. Low blow to SLADE! VSK wakes up the ref! Two counts! WIT puts the plunder back under the ring….except for one chair wedged in the buckles. Sterling takes an ugly fall before SLADE and RSP slam and swanton him to death. VSK gets Sterling’s foot on the rope. Another big shot, VSK makes the save again. RSP tries to spike Sterling into the chair but VSK moves it. Sterling gets a roll up and the three! Since LDB can’t lose now, they set up the door and chairs and put VSK through it!
Winners: Whatever It Takes
RSP calls out Sterling’s client Matt Cardona…whenever he wants. RSP is waiting. They pile a bunch of broken plunder on top of VSK and leave him there. …where he stays until the ring got tore down later. Beyond Owner Denver Colorado confirms he’s getting thrown out with the garbage.
And that’s it for a really fun episode of Uncharted Territory. This one didn’t have the crazy ultra-violence of the last few weeks and was just a lot of fun stuff that all worked for me. Crowd felt into it all night as well! Next week is the Festivus Celebration. Rhett Titus vs Jora Johl 3! Brick City Boyz vs The Miracle Generation. Wheeler Yuta vs Matt Makowski. Masha Slamovich vs Ryan Galeone. Holy helllllllll. Until then!
