MLW FUSION ALPHA REPORT: TAJIRI DEFENDS TITLE, AND MORE

We begin with a look at 5150 commenting on their victory over Los Parks for the tag titles. They want to face anyone who thinks they are the best. You can only be the best if you beat 5150.

Your announcers are Joe Dombrowski and Rich Bocchini.

We are told that Calvin Tankman was arrested after his attack on Alex Kane last week.

Holidead says her and the demons like to keep to themselves. I cannot wait to rip that purple eccentric hair out of your head and wear it as a necklace. The sky is getting dark and it is time for darkness to fall on Willow.

Match Number One: Holidead (with Dr. Dax) versus Willow Nightingale (with Blue Meanie)

Holidead misses a boot and Willow with a Thesz Press and punches. Holidead with a side slam but misses a leg drop. Willow with a back heel kick and a running hip into the corner followed by elbows. Willow with a boot and back senton for a near fall. Willow goes to the turnbuckles and Dr. Dax grabs the foot. Holidead with a boot to Willow followed by a suplex. Holidead with a kick to the hamstring and an elbow drop.

Holidead with leg drops and then she pulls Willow to the apron and connects with forearms and hits a leg drop onto the apron. Holidead with a near fall. Holidead goes for a Tiger Driver but Willow blocks it and connects with clotheslines and chops. Willow with an Irish whip and splash into the corner. Willow goes to the turnbuckles and hits a missile drop kick. Dr. Dax gets on the apron and Willow with a forearm to knock him to the floor. Willow escapes from Holidead’s shoulders. Willow gets Holidead on her shoulders but Holidead escapes and pushes Willow into the corner and they collide with the referee who goes down.

Willow is sent to the floor and Willow follows. Dax chokes Willow wit the chair but Meanie and Dax exchange forearms. Willow wit a super kick but Dax and Meanie get into the ring. Willow and Meanie with punches and elbows. Arez comes tot he ring and hits a missile drop kick on Meanie. Holidead with a kick and butterfly gourdbuster for the three count.

Winner: Holidead

We go to Cesar Duran on the phone and he says he knew his asking price was too high.

5150 enter the office. Duran tells them to stop and he says they should pour one out for El Jefe.

Slice says they would get Injustice out of here. Rivera says they are the tag champions.

Duran says the gods will be thundering with the sacrifices that are going to be made.

Konnan wants to know how Duran is going to celebrate with them.

Duran has some cards.

We go to commercial.

We go to Hawaii with the Von Erichs. Marshall is playing Pac Man and Ross shows up and says the contracts arrived and they are ready for Dallas. Marshall says it has been 40 years since the Von Erichs wrestled for the tag titles in Dallas. Marshall calls 5150 keyboard warriors and pansies. Marshall says they need to train for the match.

We are told that MLW Azteca debuts on January 6th.

Match Number Two: Homicide versus LA Park

Park and Homicide try to get the crowd behind them. Park with kicks and Park puts Homicide on the turnbuckles. Homicide with a missile drop kick and Park goes to the floor. Homicide with a suicide dive. Homicide sends Park back into the ring and then he goes up top. Park catches Homicide and Park struts and head butts Homicide. Park with a running knee and Homicide falls to the floor.

Park hits Homicide with a chair and then he puts Homicide in the chair. Park goes for a suicide dive and hits it onto Homicide and the chair needs a doctor. Park sends Homicide back into the ring and gets a near fall. Homicide with a DDT for a near fall. Homicide with an Irish whip and clothesline into the corner. Park wit a splash into the corner and Park struts. Park with a clothesline for a near fall.

Homicide with a kick and exploder to Park. Homicide gets a near fall. Park blocks a kick and Park with a series of clotheslines and a kick for a near fall. Homicide with a kick to the knee and a swinging neck breaker for a near fall. Homicide with a cutter for a near fall. Homicide goes tot eh turnbuckles for a tornado DDT but Park pushes Homicide away and Park with a spear for the three count.

Winner: LA Park

We get an update on KC Navarro after being attacked by NZO. Navarro has a neck fracture.

We take a look at EJ Nduka. He says he is originally from Dallas. He says he was a three sport athlete in high school. He played basketball, football, and track. He went to Sam Houston State to play football. He says football has taught him so much. He says he was determined to be the best. He had that hunger and drive and it spread to every aspect of his life. He says he made Dean’s and President’s list. He had a double major in business and biology.

We are told that Rok-C will be making her MLW debut in Dallas.

We are back with a look at Duran’s attempts to stop Alex Hammerstone.

We have a video feature featuring Charlie Bruzzese, a camera man for MLW. He says he has been doing this since 1991 when he worked with the NAWA that featured Tommy Dreamer, Taz, and Joey Styles. He got a call to edit an ECW show in 1994. He edited his first show for Paul Heyman. Paul asked him to start shooting for ECW in 1995. They would edit out of a house. He was the hand held camera and then he would mix the show and review it with Paul.

He mentions Steve Austin and Sandman falling on him. He asked Paul why he wasn’t told and Paul says it would have looked fake if he was told so he would move. He got a call from Court Bauer in 2002. He mentions he did the hard camera work for MLW. He says his style of shooting developed over the years and he tried to incorporate them into the show. He says that is an important part of the show. When a wrestler does a spot to the floor if the crowd is behind it, he wants to make sure it is a part.

We see Charlie Bruzzese being inducted into the 2300 Arena Hardcore Hall of Fame.

We see Calvin Tankman’s attack last week and his mug shot.

Alex Kane and Mr. Thomas are at their media table and Kane mentions that Mr. Thomas is distraught over being the victim of a carjacking and assault. Kane says he felt the attack. Kane says Calvin will be in jail for a long time. All you are going to hear is Bomaye.

We are back with Calvin Tankman on the phone. He says he has been thinking about Mr. Thomas and what they are putting me through. They think this will keep me away. I have time to think about this and strategize. I will get my hands on them and there won’t be anyone to interfere.

We are told that on January 6th, on the debut episode of MLW Azteca, King Muertes and Taurus will face Pagano and Alex Hammerstone.

Match Number Three: Yoshihiro Tajiri versus Atsuki Aoyagi for the MLW Middleweight Championship

They lock up and Aoyagi with a clean break. They lock up and Aoyagi with a waist lock and Tajiri with a drop toe hold. Aoyagi with an arm bar into a side head lock but Tajiri with a hammer lock. Aoyagi gets to the ropes to force a break. They go for a Greco Roman Knuckle Lock and Tajiri with a wrist lock into a hammer lock. Aoyagi with a flying mare and arm drag into an arm bar. Tajiri with an arm drag and Aoyagi rolls through for an arm bar. Aoyagi with a wrist lock and Tajiri with a wrist lock take down.

Aoyagi with a hammer lock. Tajiri with a reversal and Aoyagi with a reversal of his own. Tajiri tries for a reversal but Aoyagi holds on to the hammer lock. Tajiri backs Aoyagi into the corner and Tajiri with a forearm and Irish whip. Aoyagi avoids a forearm. Tajiri with a neck breaker for a near fall. Tajiri with an elbow to the back of the neck and a second one. Aoyagi with a forearm and Tajir with a forearm and neck breaker for a near fall. Tajiri with a reverse chin lock. Tajiri takes Aoyagi back to the mat.

Aoyagi with elbows and forearms. They go back and forth but Tajiri with a back elbow for a near fall. Tajiri with a reverse chin lock. Tajiri gets a near fall. Aoyagi gets to his feet and he connects with elbows. Tajiri with a side head lock but Aoyagi with a belly-to-back suplex and both men are down.

We go to commercial.

We are back and both men are still down. Tajiri with a forearm and Aoyagi fires back. They continue the exchange and Aoyagi with the advantage. Aoyagi with an Irish whip and forearm. Aoyagi with a leap frog and arm drag off the turnbuckles. Tajiri avoids a handspring back elbow but Tajiri goes to the floor. Aoygai goes to the turnbuckles and this a moonsault off the turnbuckles.

They return to the ring and Aoyagi with a springboard drop kick and a moonsault for a near fall. Aoyagi goes to the turnbuckles but misses a moonsault. Tajiri with a tarantula. Tajiri misses the Buzzsaw kick and Aoyagi with a handspring round kick for a near fall. Aoyagi misses another moonsault and Tajiri has a Buzzsaw kick blocked. Aoyagi with a round kick and a spinning round kick for a near fall.

Aoyagi goes up top and misses a 450 splash. Tajiri goes for a La Magistral but Aoyagi blocks it and gets a near fall with a La Magistral. Tajiri with a piledriver for a near fall. Tajiri with the Buzzsaw kick for the three count.

Winner: Yosihiro Tajiri (retains championship)

We go to Cesar Duran in the back and Richard Holliday says that Hammerstone was looking for him, but he wants to talk to Cesar about something. Holliday brings up NFTs. Cesar asks why does he want to be interested in a fungus. Cesar tells Holliday to send the information to his business associate Budd Heavy.

Gnarls Garvin stops Duran and he says he is willing to fight for any price.

Duran says he expects to have a lot of opportunities with him.

Hammerstone says for someone who wants to build his trust, sending your monster brother after me is not a good thing. Hammerstone says if you double cross him again, it is not going to work out well for you.
